How could I forget about Auntie D?!

I thought as I ran through the halls of the school, heading for the faculty room.

SERIOUSLY! How. Could. I. Forget. About. Her. She's like my only relative now!

I mentally facepalmed and knocked on the door of the faculty room.
I waited patiently until an unknown faculty member opened the door.

"Yes?" The man said.
"Umm... Is Au-. I mean, is Ma'am Diamond around?" I said.

The man returned inside.
I heard him ask a fellow faculty.
He came back.

"No. She left early. She said that she was gonna visit a relative of hers. Why?" He said.
"Oh, um, nothing. Um, thanks." I said and hurried away.

God I'm bad at talking.

I started running back to my car.

Embarrassed myself infront of a teacher.
I mentally facepalmed.

I'm at my car. But something blue ran infront of me.

"Where were you? I've been waiting here for a couple of minutes!" The blue thing said.

It was Lapis.

HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT MY OWN RELATIVE AND LAPIS?!

"Ehm, Peridot? You okay?" Lapis said.

I snapped out of my war between myself and my brain.

"Oh! Ugh, yeah. Sorry. I just needed to finish something before going home." I said.
"Mhmm... Well, shall we?" She said in a playful tone.
"Yeah, sure Miss Blue Bear." I said, chuckling.
She blushed and I just laughed.

We got inside my car and I started to engine, heading towards my house.
We were about to pull over when a yellow car appeared to be parked outside my house.

"Hey, isn't that Miss Diamond's car? What's she doing here?" Lapis said.

I got nervous.

"Oh um, well..." I muttered.
"Well???" She said.
"Turns out she's my aunt." I said.

I saw her blank out.

"Wait, what?" She said with a blank face.
"I know. Weird huh?" I said.
"Not weird. You're lucky!" She said screaming.
"Wuh? Why?" I asked, confused.
"SHE'S-!"
