Lapis' POV

While Peri did some "shopping". I got out to get her gift from Pearl and Amethyst. I swear those two are getting pretty close to each other.

"Hey Lapis! Over here!" I heard someone said.

I turned around and found Amethyst waving at me.

"Hey, where's Pearl?" I asked.
"Oh, she's getting Dot's gift from the car." She said, smiling.

Then Pearl came.

"I see that Lapis is here." She said.
"Duh!" Amethyst said.
"Here, we got Peridot's gift. Though SOMEBODY forgot to wrap it." She said glancing at Amethyst.
"Hey! It ain't my fault that there's no gift wrappers at the gift wrapping section!" Amethyst fought back.
"Hey, Hey, it's fine! I'll wrap it myself." I said, interrupting their fight.
"Well I got to go now, Peri will arrive any moment." I said.
"Okay." They said in unison.

I got home to find that Peridot is still out. Good.

I headed inside and started looking for some gift wraps.
I found some and started wrapping the gift. When I heard the door unlock.

Oh no! Peridot is home!

I hurriedly hid the jacket along with the wraps under a pillow and lay on it.

"Lapis? Are you here?" I hear Peridot say.

I heard some foot steps near the bedroom so I fake slept.

"Oh, she's asleep. Oh well." I heard her say.

Phew.

I then stood up and hid the items in a closet. I hope Peri doesn't look here.

I walked to the door and bumped into Peridot.

"Oh, Lapis! You're awake." She said smiling.
"Heh, I knew that you're here." I said.
"How?" She asked.
"Your nerdiness gets all over the place." I said, giggling.
"Heh, anyways. I gotta get some clothes from the closet. Hold on." She said.

Oh No!

"Uh, d-do you mind if I get it for you?" I said, keeping her away from the closet.
"Nah I can get it myself." She said, passing through me.
"N-no! I insist." I said.
"Well... Okay, I'll be downstairs if you need me." She said, walking away.
"Okay." I said.

I waited for her to get out of the room.

As she did, I immediately took the items and hid it under the bed.
I got her some clothes and ran off.
