"Come on Hars!" Collin shouts at me from the other side of the sandy parking lot.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." I mutter, tugging on the laces of my favorite white Converse.

Slipping off my shoes and trading them out for an old pair of yellow flip flops, I toss my shoes in Collin's truck and haphazardly run across the parking lot and into the sandy shore.

Collin is doubled over laughing when I reach him, and I quirk an eyebrow in response.

"You run like a deer." He says before breaking down in a fit of laughter again.

"Hey Collin?"

"Yeah?"

"You're a dick."

"Love you too."

"I know."

"No."

I throw an old t-shirt across my closet.

"No no no no no no."

"Wear are they?" I mumble to myself.

Digging through my now messy closet, I sigh in defeat coming to a terrible conclusion.

I lost my Converse.
