I know of a person
That no one else knows
We met at the beach
With sand in our toes

       He had chocolate brown hair
That never stayed still
With his electric blue eyes
That could give anyone chills

He had fair skin
That was always soft
And nimble fingers
That were delicate as frost

His geeky personality
Would always make me laugh
Then I would make some puns
To help him perfect his craft

But he knew what I would be thinking
Just by looking at my face
And if I were sad
I'd get a warm embrace

He'd sing me a song
With a voice so beautiful and clear
And play his guitar
But for only me to hear

We would go down to the shore
And stay there for a while
He'd hold me in his arms
And somehow always made me smile

Now the reason no one knows of him
Is no mystery to me
He came from my imagination
But in my heart, he's always from the sea
