Prologue
I used to be straight, I used to hit on girls a year younger than me, but, the minute my teacher for history walked in the door, every previous feeling for others went down the drain. It doesn't help that he's so young. He's twenty two years old and I'm eighteen, making me believe I have a chance. He's not married either. With his short brown hair always perfectly put together, his soft blue eyes and his glasses framing them, I'm lost. The 5'8 teacher has got me thrown in a loop.
But, what the worst thing is, I'm failing this class. It's not Ristu Shimi's fault, I just suck at history.
"Mr. Shizuo, may I see you after class?" Mr. Shimi questions as the bell is about to ring. I nod and the bell rings.
"Good luck buddy." A few friends joke.
"Our teacher is so handsome!" A girl giggled walking out the door.
"What do you need Mr. Shimi?" I question as I walk to his desk. Books and pens are all over it and his brows were furrowed as he looks at his computer screen.
"As I'm sure you know, you're failing this class and it's not even the end of the semester." He warns. I'm calling him Ritsu in my head, makes it less confusing.
"Ah, yeah, History is not my best subject." I inform.
"Last year you had excellent grades in history, what happened to make your grades drop like this?" Did I have good good grades last year? Well, I guess it doesn't matter.
"I don't know, and if you're telling me I should get a tutor, it's not going to happen, my parents don't necessarily give a shit about me. I got to catch my bus." I turn to leave.
"If you want, I can tutor you after class? What better tutor than the teacher who's assigning everything?" He questions, his kind blue eyes smiling too.
"Then I have no way to get home. My parents aren't going to pick me up." I say with a straight face.
"I'll drive you home then, it's not the end of the world." He informs.
"I guess it's all right then. We can schedule tomorrow I have to get to my b-" there was a buzz in my pocket and I pull out my phone, a text left there that made me shiver in fear. "I'm walking home today apparently."
"You're kidding? It's snowing with hail mixed in." Ritsu frowns.
"Well, can't go home right now. Besides, I'd rather walk than get home early." My teacher didn't know what I was talking about as I left. It's probably better that way anyways.
