Ranpo: so your the great phantom the people used to talk about so munch... Heh was all this mess was just so you can meet me in person? Ha I'm flattered but the drama was a little unnecessary don't ya think?
Kid: hahahah why no not at all~ if anything this was the best way for me to lure detectives in but....
Ranpo: hm?
Kid: hmmm~~ what a shame~ your not quite the detective I had in mind
Ranpo: wow, you get to be picky about which detective chases after you now huh?
Kid: but ofcourse! Wether it be a police or detective such as yourself, I'm not interested in you, I'm only interested in 1 detective and only him alone
Ranpo: which is...?
Kid: . . . Hmm~ not important for now, sience you aren't the person I'm looking for, you can be here in his stead
Ranpo: wha-

Another explosion accurd, shaking the building, Ranpo nervously looks up but than looks back to Kid but he had  already disappeared, Ranpo  panics and runs up the stairs knowing how many explosions has acurd the exit must be sealed off, so the only way out is on top of the building, running out of the suffocating black smoke, Ranpo looks down and saw the police enforcement and some fire fighters, looking down and seeing as to how high up he is, Ranpo gulps as he knows this is the only way out, so he takes a deep breath then runs off the edge and takes a leap off the building and falls down, keeping his eyes shut tight, ready for the painful impact of the fall, when all the sudden he felt something big and furry catch him, Ranpo open his eyes to see a pair of tiger hands holding him, it was Atsushi, they both landed safely to the ground and Atsushi change his hands back to normal

Ranpo: uh- Atsushi, Kyoka what are you 2 doing here?
Atsushi: well... Ever sience you left Karl with us he wouldn't stay put, he kept trying to get outside so we decided to take him out on a walk until we heard a explosion and came here as quickly as we can
Kyoka: are you ok...?
Ranpo: mh... *Sigh* I'm fine, let's go back to the agency....

Karl hop onto Ranpo head as the 3 of them walk away while the police handle the situation of the building, later that day news spread like wild fire about the moon light thief bombing the building once again.
Now Ranpo is in Poe house, Sitting in his desk thinking while feeding Karl

Kunikida: that was terribly dangerous Ranpo San! You could have gotten hurt!!
Ranpo: ugh relax, Yosano could just fix me up anyways
Yosano: still he's right, you were too reckless jumping off that busing, if Atsushi didnt save you in time you may be beyond saving buddy
Ranpo: ugh I know I know...
Yosano: Kunikida give us the room
Kunikida: oh ofcourse...

Kunikida leaves the room now only Yosano and Ranpo is quietly sitting in that room, Yosano sits down on her chair as she cross her arms

Yosano: so what the heck happened back there? Did he actually bombed that place?
Ranpo: he did...
Yosano: and its really him?!
Ranpo: it was... But I don't understand... Something was different... He was wearing a cometely different color outfit and instead of stealing jewels he's bombing places up! And he said he wants to find someone or something
Yosano: is he trying to look for you?
Ranpo: wha- no! He doesn't even know who I am! He said it himself I'm not the person he's looking for
Yosano: so who is he looking for then
Ranpo: I... I'm not sure... But 1 thing is for sure something is defiantly wrong... After his retirement he dosent have any reason to come back as the phantom thief he once was and start killing and harming people... Someone must have done this to him...
Yosano: but who...?
Ranpo: thats what I'm gonna find out

As the days go by, Ranpo was doing everything he can to investigate the Kid sudden come back and the Poe missing person case, the members of the agency worries as he continues to refusing to rest even the president tries to convince Ranpo to rest but he was just not having it, meanwhile Ranpo has heard word that a new serial murder mystery begin to start in Yokohama as random victims were spotted murdered in the alleyway and right on their body was a poker card, something about the poker card didnt sit right with Ranpo so he went and checked it out, he went to see every victim and the only thing they all have in common is that they have blue indigo eyes... That was enough evidence for Ranpo to know who did it... But he decided to keep his mouth shut and say that the killer possibly is someone outside the city who just recently moved to Yokohama, and then went back to his investigation on the 2 other cases as police continue to bother him as more and more murder mystery begin to appear, its not that Ranpo couldn't solve it, he doesn't want to... Because he won't put this person behind bars until he found the answer
