2 weeks has pass sience Ranpo try to track down the person he's looking for yet no luck, Ranpo sighs as he tiredly sit down on the chair in Poes office, he was groaning while thinking in his head when suddenly his phone rang, he takes a look to see it was Minouchi keibu who called him so he picks it up

Ranpo: hey what's up?
Minouchi: hey detective, we got a serious big case on our hands, I need you to go to ####### its important
Ranpo: *sigh* got it... I'm on my way...

Ranpo hangs up on the phone and then leaves the place to see where he's at, he realise he's only a few blocks away from the meeting location so he kept walking down and taking turns in corners until he finally reach his destination

Ranpo: hey I'm here, so what's the big case this time?
Minouchi: something surprising, it's not a murder case, but not going with your fanboy rival today? Not even a coworker huh?
Ranpo: eh I let them have a break today, so if it's not a murder case, what is it?
Minouchi: we were told a advance note was send here, saying that someone was going to attack it, destroy it even...
Ranpo: any idea on who this person is?
Minouchi: yeah I do, it's the long infamous phantom thief Kaito Kid
Ranpo: what?!
Minouchi: tell me about it, heard the bastard retired or something, I didn't expect this either... And I didn't expect that guy to be here... Run along threatening to blow some place up... Has he finally gone full evil?

Ranpo looks over to see a man with a funny moustache screaming and yelling at men surrounding the era, he seen that angry and funny moustache face...

Minouchi: his name is sir Nakamori, a police officer from another town, once he heard Kaito Kid was in this, he practically drag a entire army of police men here
Ranpo: woah... He's fire up... I thought that guy is a retired policemen
Minouchi: he was but he said he's putting his retirement aside and will try to capture Kaito Kid again, word recently said that the thief bomb a building back in Tokyo and this guy thinks its a kid fan acting as a imposter so he just wanted to be sure
Ranpo: man...
Minouchi: hopefully with someone like you around we can get this all done with quicker
Ranpo: I won't make any promises that you'll catch him, I'm a detective not a hunter 
Nakamori: what are you just standing here for?! Uh- you... I heard of you before, Yokohama top detective, said to have a ability that could solve crime cases
Ranpo: yep thats me! Wha- ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!!! Hey! Hands off man it's not a mask!
Nakamori: hmp we can never be sure
Ranpo: geez are we sure this is the real deal? Like the big guy said it himself, he retired, so what's with the new get up and the villain arc all of a sudden?
Minouchi: that's what we're here to find out

Everyone was ready and went inside the building to investigate and look around, feeling uneasy Ranpo puts on his glasses than takes a look around again, he than realises something

Ranpo: crap this was a trap!! Everyone get out of the building!!! This place is about to blow!!
Minouchi: what?!

A explosion could be heard from upper floors, thats when all the policemen started to panic and run, on 1 side Ranpo too wish to run for his life but on the other hand there was a gut feeling telling him to go further into the building, he's was sweating as he was not sure to wether trust his instincts or his detective sensitivity, Ranpo grits his teeth and runs up to the higher floors of the building, the explosions was beginning to slowly stop but the damage was done and if he doesn't be careful the place could easily collapse, currently Ranpo is somewhere near the top floor of the building and everything is very dangerously quiet, the moment his phone rang send a wave of shock to him but he simply  relax and picks up the phone

Minouchi: what the hell are you still doing in there?! Get the hell out!!
Ranpo: I can't, there's something here I need to do, just- stay down there! I'll be out soon!
Minouchi: what?!

Ranpo hangs up on the phone and sighs, he puts his phone away... That's when a small laugh echos threw the halls accompany by the sound of foot steps and clapping hands, terrified to know who it is, Ranpo turns around and takes a phew steps back.
Out of the shadows comes a tall man in a black suit with a red neck tie, a black cape and hat, wearing a chronicle walking right up to him, looking at him with bloody red eyes and a dangerous smile on his face

Ranpo: y-you...
???: heh... Greetings great detective, it's a pleasure to finally meet you~
Ranpo pov: god danmit not this again! He's kinda hot tho...
