Chapter 18

Jimin, just a few days after the news that he was back in BTS, it was announced that he was leaving BTS.

But nonetheless, he's still living in the same dorm as BTS. He's just there with them as a moral support. And he also needed his friends help to find Yoo Ri.

Ah, Yoo Ri kept blaming herself when she heard about it.

But she never let anyone know about her relationship with Jimin.

She still continued on with her new life. Together with Hyun Woo always by her side.

And she, grew feelings for him.

No doubt that it was the same the other way around.

She even made a group of friends in school. A group of friends who understood her past. She was happy, to finally move on in life.

Hyun Woo was happy that he was part of helping her adapt to the new surroundings. He always smiles when he sees the smile on Yoo Ri's face.

However, he didn't have the guts to ask her out, even though he kind of knew that she liked him back. He was just, worried.

Though, there was once, Yoo Ri saw Hoseok. And she saw the backs of 6 other boys.

It was only the first week she moved here.

Hoseok and her made eye contact when she stepped in the store, and it lasted for awhile.

Something flashed in Hoseok's mind, but he shook it off. Same goes for Yoo Ri.

But she knew that if Hoseok was here, the rest of BTS was here too.

And she quickly left, before even taking two steps in the store.

Her heart trembled. She was confused. She wished she could've seen Jimin. But she didn't. She knew what was rught for her. She thought she knew.

But then it continued.

She kept seeing the 7 boys around her neighborhood, but they notice her, sicne she would quickly hide.

Only then, she realised, their dorm was near her neighborhood.

When she realised, she just tried to shake it off.

She's usually with Hyun Woo when she sees the 7 boys, and Hyun Woo doesn't know why she always pulls him away at random moments.

These few weeks, she started not to care. She was so used to seeing them, that she just thought of them as people who she had to avoid.

She didn't think of them as "Oh no, it's Jimin" anymore.

She didn't exactly care about him. But she didn't want him to see her. That's all.

Yoo Ri thought she was over Jimin, but little did she know.

(Months later)

Yoo Ri's P.O.V

"I can't believe you made me bring you here just for the ice cream." Hyun Woo whined as I dragged him out of his car.

"It's the best ice cream around and I was craving for something~" I whined and he sighed, locking his car.

"You're really such a kid." He snickered.

"Come on." I interlocked our fingers together as I pulled him to the ice cream parlor in front of us.

We were used to this simple skinship, since we're literally, really close.

And I can't deny that I wanted to get closer to him.

"You're paying this time." Hyun Woo pouted and I nodded briefly.

"Ah I can't wait to get the ice cream. What flavor should I get this time? Caramel, Chocolate, Strawberry, Coconut-" I instantly stopped all my movements when I accidentally locked eyes with someone who I really didn't want to see.

"Maybe you should try getting Pistachio." Hyun Woo said, but then he realised that I was frozen.

"Yoo Ri." That guy muttered under his breath. That guy, he's Jimin. Park Jimin.

The other 6 turned and looked at me when they realised Jimin was staring at my direction.

I was captivated once again, but I shouldn't be.

Then, another person caught my eye.

Hoseok.

He just, gives me a good feeling.

But still.

"Run." I told Hyun Woo, and he was clueless.

In the next second, I pulled Hyun Woo along with me, straight out of the store with fast steps.

"No questions, let's get in the car first. Please." I sighed as we both were already nearing the car.

Hyun Woo was already ready with his keys in his hand.

He clicked the button on his key and his car unlocked immediately.

Hyun Woo ran to the other side of the car and went in, and I did the same on my side.

I quickened my movements when I heard Jimin's voice, shouting for mine.

Thank god, me and Hyun Woo were already in the car.

"Let's just go home." I softly said and Hyun Woo leaned closer to me, observing my face.

"Isn't he the one who left the popular boy band? How does he know you?" Hyun Woo asked.

But then he was interrupted when Jimin appeared at my side of the window.

He constantly hit the glass with his two palms, shouting my name repeatedly.

Hyun Woo widened his eyes, shocked that Jimin was doing that.

"Do we just leave?" Hyun Woo asked me, turning the engine on already.

"Right now." I huffed, trying to ignore the hitting sounds which were coming from Jimin.

I sneaked a glance of Jimin, and saw tears on his face.

When he realised I was looking, he stopped hitting the window, and he stared at me.

"Please..." He mouthed out.

I just, don't think we can ever get back together, even with his career aside.

My fingers went to the glass, and I looked at his face once again.

It's been long since I saw this in real life.

"I'm sorry." I softly said, but Jimin read my lips, and he instantly shook his head.

At this moment, Namjoon and Seokjin were coming out to find Jimin. They were worried why he suddenly left for a person they never met.

"Hyun Woo. I said right now." I turned away to look at Hyun Woo.

Hyun Woo stepped on the peddle, and the car distanced from Jimin. Slowly, and painfully.

After a short while, I finally opened my mouth to speak.

"I'm so sorry for wasting your time. I didn't know he'd be th-there" I stopped talking when I just couldn't handle it anymore.

I dug my face into my hands and let the tears flow. It hurt so badly just talking about him.

But no, he had to literally run for me.

He could've just sat there and ignore me. But he chose to come after me.

It hurts so much knowing that he tried to talk to me.

It hurts so much to see him tear up.

It hurts.

"Ah, just let your tears out, it's fine." Hyun Woo awkwardly said as he tried to focus on the road, yet take care of me at the same time.

He put one hand on the steering wheel, and the other on my shoulder, trying to comfort me.

Hyun Woo tried to understand how that guy was related to Yoo Ri. And he kind of figured it out. Yoo Ri only had one friend before Hyun Woo.

That guy, was definitely Yoo Ri's first friend. No doubt, first love too.

(SKIP)

"I'm really sorry." I sighed out as Hyun Woo sat next to me on the couch.

I was already done washing my face. My heart calmed down. Everything is just, the same now.

"Hey, it's fine. I suppose, he's your first love?" Hyun Woo asked and I looked at him in shock.

"How did you know?" I softly asked him.

"You only had one friend before me. And one love." Hyun Woo stated. He was smart.

"So your childhood friend is famous? Is that why he and you seperated?" Hyun Woo asked.

He assumes that we were childhood friends...

I can't tell him the true story. I'm not even supposed to tell anyone.

"I don't wish to talk about that." I said. At least that's not lying.

"I'm kind of jealous of him. You seem like you really love him alot." Hyun Woo sheepishly said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

He's been dropping hints every now and then. It's kind of cute seeing how he acts.

"I don't love him. I simply, care for him. Besides, me and him are just history." I huffed out.

"Are you sure you don't love him anymore? Not even one bit?" Hyun Woo asked me and I confidently said no.

He awkwardly looked down and took a breath.

"So will you open your heart for me?" He boldly asked as he looked up at me.

I locked eye contact with him and saw how desperate he was.

It was no doubt that I fell in love with Hyun Woo in the midst of moving in from Jimin and adpating to the new world.

And I was confident that Hyun Woo actually liked me, since his hints were quite obvious. But I never dared to make a move.

Plus, I tend to get reminded on how hurt I can get.

But I actually trust this person.

It's been 6 months with him, and I actually trust him. 6 months helped us grow more fond of each other.

"I-I'm sorry." Hyun Woo sighed, looking away.

"No, look at me." I bravely said as I turned his face back to me.

"Do you love me?" I bluntly asked and Hyun Woo nodded with a pout.

"There was a person who told me, if two people loved each other, there's no reason why they shouldn't get into a relationship. So tell me, what's in the way?" I asked as I encircled my arms around Hyun Woo's neck.

And that person was Jimin.

But in his case, something was in the way.

"There's nothing in the way, right? You're not going to leave me eventually, right?" I asked in a whisper.

"I have no plans on leaving you. Never." He smiled when he realised I technically accepted him.

"But are you sure nothing is in our way? Not even your first love?" Hyun Woo worriedly asked and my mood died down.

He saw my change of expression, and decided maybe not to even question that.

"It's alright. Whether he is in the way or not, I'll take any chances." He pursed his lips and I felt super guilty at that moment.

"I'm really sorry. Can we never bring him up again?" I requested, and Hyun Woo nodded understandingly.

I just want to get rid of Jimin from my memory. It just wouldn't make sense for us to meet again.

Jimin's P.O.V

"That's Yoo Ri." I said in a dead tone as I dropped myself onto the seat.

"She has a boyfriend now though." Jungkook quietly stated and I shot him a glare.

"They could just be friends." Jin positively said.

"That girl, what's her full name again?" Hoseok asked.

"Jung Yoo Ri." I replied, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I've seen her a couple of times. She usually hides herself from us, but never spares a glance at us." Hoseok said.

"How do you know it's her? She could be any fan which happens to have the same hairstyle as this Yoo Ri." Taehyung said.

"I recognise those eyes. We made eye contact before. She reminds me of someone." Hoseok said.

"Her eyes are pretty, aren't they?" I softly asked, ane Hoseok nodded in agreement.

"I can't believe I just let her slip away from me. I had her. But she ran with that guy." I sighed as I dug my face into my hands.

"I know you miss her, but we'll come up with a plan soon. Go to the washroom and wash away your tears." Namjoon said and I listened to him.

And I just left to the washroom, feeling like an arrow just shot through my heart.

No one's P.O.V

"Let's help that poor boy out." Namjoon said.

"How?" Jin asked.

"Let's kidnap her." Yoongi softly said and everyone eyed at him.

"Actually, that's not a bad idea." Taehyung added.

"Isn't kidnapping wrong?" Jungkook asked.

"Well, it's just bringing back two lovers. Nothing bad about that." Namjoon said.

"You guys are actually being serious right now?" Jin asked in disbelief.

"We want to help Jimin, so yeah?" Taehyung unsurely said.

"Let's do it. I want to know more about her." Hoseok finally said something, and everyone looked at him confusedly.

"Why?" Yoongi asked.

"She just seems like someone I know." Hoseok said and everyone clicked their tongues.

"But we won't hurt her. We can't." Hoseok stated.

"Of course we won't. We can just drag her into a car and lock it. Then let her calm down and tell her all about Jimin." Namjoon said.

"It's the only thing we can do for Jimin now. He seems hopeless without her." Taehyung said.

"Mission 101. How do we start?" Jungkook asked.

"I know her school... And I know for a fact that she lives around here." Hoseok said and everyone instantly glared at him.

"Why didn't you tell us or Jimin earlier?" Jin scolded.

"Because I didn't know that the girl I've been seeing everywhere was Yoo Ri!!" Hoseok justified and everyone sighed.

"Let's go to her school tomorrow then. " Yoongi said and everyone nodded in agreement.
