Hi! So this is the first piece I have ever written (and published) so please read it and give me some feedback! Enjoy!

The trio of Natsu, Lucy, and Happy made their way through Magnolia.

"Hey Natsu?" the blonde cautiously asked.

"What's up?"

"What would you think... If..." she wasn't quite sure how to say what she wanted to. It wasn't exactly easy to just ask what if I left the guild for a while.

"Spit it out already!" Happy complained flying above them.

"What I mean to say is, well, what if I... Left the guild?" She slightly whispered the last part but Natsu's ears easily heard her. He stopped dead in his tracks.

"Why on earth would you want to do that?!?" he asked, his eyes wide with shock and...fear?

"Because, I want to get stronger. It wouldn't be permanent."

"But you're already strong! You're the strongest celestial wizard in all of Fiore!" he shouted as anger washed over him.

"There are only two celestial mages in Fiore! And I have 9 of the golden celestial keys! Of course I am the srongest!" she shouted back now facing him.

"What would we do with out you though Lucy?" Happy asked floating at eye level next to Natsu.

"I guess you would to figure it out, just like I did when you guys left me! Did you even think about what I would do when you left? We were the strongest team and you were my best friend! Than the day after you left the guild disbanded and I was left all alone." anger was flowing off her but she still instantly regretted the words after she said them. She met his eyes but he looked away.

What she said hurt him... But what hurt the most was that it was true. He couldn't meet her eyes. He couldn't bear to see her angry, and not just like she is when they tease her. This anger was real and came from the hurt he wasn't there to take. They stood on a bridge facing each other in silence for a long time.
