Put the 'drag' in Dragneel.

"-cy? Luuuuuuccyyyyy? LUCY!"

"Oh, uh, what?"

"Don't give me the dumb look."

"What did I do this time?"

"You started daydreaming. For the third time. Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah."

She studied me for a minute and huffed, letting me sigh in relief.

How about I introduce myself to you, huh? My name is Lucy Layla Heartfilia, or Lucy for short. I'm a blondie with chocolate brown eyes, and I am of average height. I am the heiress of Heartfilia Kreuz inc. I always hide my true identity, because I don't want to be looked upon as the richest girl and the spoiled brat of Heartfilia company. Besides, I'm the girl who runs away from responsibilities. My mother died when I was young, and my father is a wealth hungry man who doesn't even make time for her only daughter. Besides, his business associates are all after me. That's why he always keeps a few bodyguards around me, just because he doesn't have to spend his wealth on me when I get kidnapped or something. So, to avoid all of this trouble, I ran away to Magnolia, where I have joined Fairy Tail High. I've always been homeschooled, though. I went to a real school once, but I was dropped out in a short span of time. Levy Mcgarden over here, who is telling me about this school, is my best friend. Actually, we met at a bookstore and became friends on the spot. I'm new at this school, and she's telling me how things work around here, to which I don't even give a damn. I am free, for goodness's sake, let me enjoy my freedom!

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?"

"You are spacing out again!"

"Impatient much?"

Let me explain. Levy had smacked me with a maths book because I was lost in thoughts.

"Which class do you have now?" She asked me.

"Maths."

"Good. You're with me. Now, come on! We're gonna be late! And you don't want to make excuses to Mr. Strauss because-

"He thinks excuses are not manly!"

"Exactly. Look Lucy, I know you're excited, but there are some-

"Rules that should be followed."

"You sure do read my mind."

"I'm your best friend, you know?"

"Yeah, yeah. Come on! Hurry!"

I chuckled. Levy is one heck of a nerd. She is a student with straight 'A's. I wonder why she isn't a member of student council.

The bell rang as soon as we sat on our seats. It's time for the class before lunch break. Man, I'm starving here. I took a seat near the window, on the left side of Levy. The view was good, so I got lost in my thoughts until I heard the word 'manly'.

Time flew by on my first day, and it was finally lunch time. Levy took me to an isolated bench because I wanted to. Seriously, can't a girl feel like a normal person without guys wolf-whistling and girls gossiping? I should've been used to it, except for the whistles and hoots. I ignored them and sat right in front of her after I took my lunch.

"So, Lev?"

"Yeah?"

"Any playboys or jocks I should be aware of?"

"Oh yeah. Well there's Loke Lion. He is the king flirt of the school. Look over there. He's all dressed up with glasses."

Sure I saw a guy with hair like cat's ears and glasses. He was surrounded by many girls.

"Over there is Gray Fullbuster. Apparently he is a rich kid, and likes to strip everywhere he goes."

"Doesn't the police get him?"

"They did but let him go after they understood that his habit can't be changed."

Gray Fullbuster. A stripper huh? Of course. There he was, with his jeans covering his lower body. Why do I feel like someone is glaring daggers at me? I shrugged the feeling.

"Next comes Gajeel Redfox. He's not a playboy or something, but he is a rockstar. See that buffy guy with piercings all over him? Yeah, that's him. He might seem like a gangster, but he is a good guy."

"You like him, don't you?"

"Wh- what are you talking about? No way! I'd rather be with a jar of Nutella than to be with him, thank you."

I could see a tint of red on her cheeks.

"Although I wish he'd notice me."

"What was that, Levy?"

"NOTHING!"

I laughed. She can't hide it for long, so I let it go.

"Okay, back to the topic. The last but not least, is the hottest and the richest guy here. He's so handsome that you'll faint once you see him. Oh look, here he comes!"

At the entrance of the cafeteria, I saw a pink-haired guy with girls drooling around him. What's so special about this guy, though? Hold on- pink hair? He must've used a dye. Nothing special here. His smile? Worth drooling, but nothing so special here too. Then what is special about him?

"Don't gawk at him at that! He'll notice us, and you don't want to be caught by him."

"What if I was caught by him? What will happen then?"

I twisted my head to see Levy giving an 'are-you-kidding-me' look.

"Well, only one girl was able to catch his eye when she looked at him. Then, he dated her and then she transferred. No one knows what happened to her, though."

"Whatever. I don't even give a damn to what he does."

"Um, Lu?"

"Yeah?"

"He's looking at you."

I slapped Levy on her hand so that she looks at me.

"Stop looking at him."

"And here he comes. I think you might be the next lucky girl, Lucy."

"Shut up."

"Oh ho ho! Someone is embarrassed."

I rolled my eyes. I felt heavy steps approaching me quickly.

"Hey, blondie."

Wow. You really know the best way to introduce yourself to a lady.

"Wait. Do I know you from somewhere?"

I flinched and at the same time kept my cool by continuing sipping my juice. Uh, nibbling on my straw, to tell you the truth.

"I think I've seen you before."

That's it.

"What is your problem?" I snapped.

"Huh?"

No one except Levy knows I have temperament issues. That guy ain't lucky today.

"Can't you mind your own business rather than interrupting me?"

"I didn't interrupt you, for your information"

"Oh yeah? Then who came and slammed his hand on the table saying 'hey blondie! I think I have seen you before. Who are you?' huh? That wasn't a ghost who just did it."

I'm sure about two things, to be honest.

1. I mimicked him very nicely.
2. I could see a tick mark appear on his forehead. Literally.

"Lucy, calm down. How about you sit with us, and we can talk like civilized people?" Levy interrupted.

"No, thanks Levy. I think I lost my appetite. Teach him what 'being civilized' is. I think he doesn't know it."

The pinkie raised his brow and smiled evilly.

"Feisty much?"

"Lick your own dick, you cocksucker."

And I spun on my heel, moving towards my next class.

Was I too harsh on him?

No, he deserved it.
