Tauriel laid in the soft grass, looking up at the night sky. She felt as if her soul was lifted beyond the forest and up into the night. She felt as if she was walking in starlight. It was as if the world had fallen away the white light had forever filled the air.
She sighed. She loved the stars, she loved starlight. One day, she would go there where the white light of the stars would shine forever and never fade. She would forever be among the stars. Their light would forever shine upon her.
She could see Eärendil's star, bright and beautiful.
