Alex is a rather shy person, so socializing can sometimes be complicated for her. Creativity is the reason why she can always keep herself busy even if she is alone, her head always in a dream. The young Tozier differs from her older brother in that they are not at all alike, some people wonder if they are really brother and sister. Alex likes to venture out into the Derry forest at night, watching the stars and nature. She is not brave by nature, but she can do whatever she can to help her loved ones. She can be just as aloof, in her bubble, and want to chat for hours afterwards.

Being shy, it's hard for her to make friends or approach others. Alex prefers to let them come to her. This is why it was easier for her to get to know her older brother's friends and become friends with them.

Aquaphobia (Aquaphobics suffer from constant anxiety even when they are not in contact with the object of their phobia. Origin of her PTSD/fear;

When they were younger, Richie and Alex were very close, like best friends. It was during an outing to the lake, a prank gone wrong, that the young Tozier almost drowned. Strangely, her brother has no memory of that day, but Alex never forgets it. This incident is the reason why she never goes swimming with her friends at the Quarry.
