Prologue

What's the difference between reality and fiction? It's that one is harsh, unforgiving, and real while the other seems beautiful, happy, and is completely fake. There is a barrier of false hopes blocking us from the fictional world that we desire to be part of. When you lose someone you love in a book, show, or movie you cry for a bit or maybe even just completely remain a wreck for a little bit. However, if you lose someone you love in real life you never get over it. What would happen if the world of fiction was brought to reality? Would the world implode? or would it just not care?

When I was 8 years old my dad would record the Harry Potter movies for us to watch together. My favorite movie back then and it still is my favorite was the Chamber Of Secrets. I just loved the part where Ron and Harry got their butts kicked by a tree. My dad would just watch my excitement as I watched the movie. When I was 11 I started to beg for the complete book series. I wanted to read it so bad. I saw one day while staying with my grandmother the complete series up to date for that time. She told however, not to touch it and I had to respect her wishes. I still wanted so bad to read it. I had begged and begged enough by the time I was 14 to a point where my parents bought me the first book. I immediately stuck my nose in the book and read it non stop to a point where I'd walk into things, people, and I'd not hear my parents talking to me.

While I was 13 I decided to finally take the official Harry Potter sorting hate test. I was sorted into Slytherin. When I told my mom and dad, my dad didn't believe I was a Slytherin and he asked me why I had desired to be a quote on quote "slimy snake" I explained to my dad that there were good Slytherins and there were bad Slytherins. He would combat my valid arguments so I just started to say. "Look I'm a Slytherin deal with it Gryffindork!" then I'd walk off to my room. My brother was sorted in to Gryffindor, no surprise there, but when my mom turned out to be a Slytherin too I just laughed.

Normal families go crazy over some television show while my family would go crazy over Harry Potter. It resulted in Harry Potter posters, jackets, replicas, calendars, t-shirts, the books, jewelry, and the complete movie set on blue ray. My family and I were obsessed with Harry Potter. The Harry Potter houses went, My dad is a Gryffindor, my mom is a Slytherin, I'm a Slytherin, my sister is a Slytherin, and my brother is a Gryffindor.

My family while weird though have been the people who really understand my level geek. I've always talked to them about all this. By the way the prologue is kinda an explanation on the author's life with the Harry Potter book and movie series.
