Months passed and a romance had easily blossomed between the former knight and dragon. They had gotten to know each other, fought each other, and learned to work together through much of their adventure.

Suddenly, children came into the picture and they were more than just partners. They were family.

And just at that moment, they were supposed to be cleaning each other but they couldn't keep their hands to themselves.

Nathaniel let out soft moans that their children wouldn't hear. "Oh..." Xander got faster and kissed Nathaniel.

"Daddy? Mommy?" Their youngest came around looking for them, making the couple rush to clean themselves up and get out of the waterfall.

"Yes, baby?" Nathaniel asked to pick up their small boy.

"Where's your sister?" Xander asked, frowning.

"Talking to a human." The small boy said innocently and Xander's heart dropped. He started to move and ran as fast as he could back to the tower.

He saw their daughter talking to a human boy just as their son had said and stormed over. He picked up his daughter by the back of her shirt and glared at the boy.

"Daddy! He's just a boy." Their daughter, Nya, whined.

"I'm also a prince, could you put her down?" Xander didn't comply and his eyes only grew harder at the young boy.

"Who is your father?" Xander asked, noticing blue eyes and blond hair.

"Prince Christopher Zimnic. My mother is Princess Emily Zimnic. I am Cameron Zimnic." Xander rolled his eyes and nearly groaned.

"Well, you're out of your kingdom, young prince. Far from it. You should be headed back. How did you even get all the way out here?"

"Daddy, it's getting late, can we help him get home?" Nya looked up at her father.

"Could he stay for dinner?" Nathaniel asked, coming up from behind him. Xander reluctantly calmed himself down and put his daughter down.

"I'll let Blade know." Xander was covering his frustration by using his best friend as an excuse.

Xander went off in the opposite direction, leaving his family to go to his best friend's.

Blade had a family too. He had found Blarza, his wife, and they had a foal named Blaze.

Blade immediately got up when he noticed Xander coming towards their home but Xander motioned for him to sit back down. Xander nodded his head to Blarza and the horses turned into humans.

"How is your family, Xander?" Blarza asked, putting her head on Blade's shoulder as he held her to his side.

"We'll be eating dinner with one of the princes' sons." Xander responded.

"Because of Nya's curious nature again? Nathaniel has convinced you to let him stay for dinner, hasn't he?" Blade smiled and Xander nodded.

"She'll start thinking she likes the boy. And then we'll have a problem on our hands."

Blade started on dinner for his family while Blarza tidied up their home.

Xander watched Blaze, who was sitting in an open space of the forest, meditating. He soon opened his eyes to meet Xander's and got up.

"Maybe it'll be different this time. Try to be kinder..." Blade said and Xander slowly nodded.

Xander did end up staying for awhile and then went back to eat with his family. He saw Prince Cameron off and when he came back, Nathaniel was asleep in the cave with their children in his arms. Xander softened and laid down with them, holding them until he fell asleep.

"Do you take Nya Jackson to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." Cameron Zimnic smiled.

"And do you, Nya Jackson, take Prince Cameron Zimnic to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"Yes I do!" Nya said, with the most happiness.

"With all the power invested in me, I present to you Prince Cameron Zimnic and Princess Nya Zimnic!"

Xander jumped up, making Nathaniel wake up too.

"Hey...hey, are you okay?" Nathaniel sat up to rub his husband's back.

"I'll be fine...I'll just get some water." Xander got up and went to do exactly that. He came back soon after and softened again, seeing that Nathaniel had been waiting for him. "I'm okay, Nathaniel...it was just a nightmare." Xander smiled a bit and held his family again.

"Well if it spooked you, it would definitely spook me." Nathaniel whispered, before slowly falling asleep again.
