The next few weeks felt like heaven for Jeonghan and Seungcheol. Though they hadn't fully acknowledged their relationship in public, presently they were content with just lazying around at home. Jessica still stayed with them but she had still not opened up about what led her to their house. However, the couple didn't bother much about her then. They were too immersed in each other to notice anyone else.

One fine morning, Jeonghan woke up to a kiss on his forehead. He stirred, smiling.

"Wake up sleeping beauty" Seungcheol whispered.

Jeonghan smiled and opened his eyes. He saw Seungcheol hovering over him.

"Get up babe, we are going out"

"Going out?"

Seungcheol nodded "Yeah, I want to take you out on a date"

Jeonghan sat up on the bed now looking deep into his husband's eyes.

"Are you sure?  people will see us"

Seungcheol held his face "Then let them see. They already know we are married. I want them to see us together now"

Jeonghan nodded "Okay, if that's what you want"

"Let's get dressed. I want to spend the entire day with you" Seungcheol said and kissed Jeonghan softly on the lips then he stood up and went to the bathroom.

Now, they where sharing a bed and doing some really naughty things together. Seungcheol was really handsy, always looking for an excuse to touch him. He can't deny, it turned him on.

Seungcheol returned from bathing but he was almost naked wearing only a towel. Jeonghan could hardly breathe as he looked at him. He looked away quickly making Seungcheol smirk. He rushed off to the bathroom and took a bathe then he came out wearing a bathing robe when Seungcheol suddenly pulled him to his chest.

"Tonight, we'll go two more rounds...." He kissed the top of his head.

"Pervert!" Jeonghan murmured with a faint blush on his face.

They dressed up and Seungcheol grabbed his keys. He held one of Jeonghan's hand as they left the room. They met Jessica in the living room watching TV as usual.

"Have a happy date!" She said cheerfully.

"How did you know we were going on a date?"Jeonghan said.

Jessica just smiled. " You've been cooped up in here for quite a while. For you two to go out together it must definitely be because of a date"

Seungcheol laughed. "Alright sis"

"There is something I want to talk to the both of you about. Don't come back too late" she looked directly at Seungcheol.

"I think it's time to tell the truth"

Jeonghan noticed that Seungcheol looked uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"It's nothing" Seungcheol answered and began to drag Jeonghan along with him to the door.

"Bye sis!" He said loudly and Jessica nodded. When they were out of the house, Jeonghan couldn't shake the feeling that the siblings were hiding something from him but he didn't want to spoil the day with unnecessary suspicions so he put up a bright smile.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Just get in, you'll see" He said and they entered the car. The silence was comfortable as they listened to soft music. Jeonghan's heart skipped when he saw that Seungcheol had driven straight into campus.

"Yah, what are you doing? I thought we are going on a date"

"We are but first we have to face our problem head on. It's the only way we can properly be together"

Jeonghan still couldn't understand Seungcheol but he waited to see what he was up to. They pulled in front of a burger shop and got out. Seungcheol held Jeonghan's hand in his and smiled reassuredly.

"Let's do this" He whispered.

Jeongham was beginning to understand what he meant and when they entered, his suspicion was confirmed. At a corner of the shop sat their friends. Surprisingly, Joshua and Seokmin where included in their midst. It was like all the blood inside Jeonghan's body dried up. He wanted to turn away and run but Seungcheol held him grounded and shook his head. His expression told him "you aren't going anywhere"

Seungcheol's friends Mingyu, Jun, Wonwoo and Woozi sat at one side looking bored while Jeonghan's friends Seungkwan, Vernon, Minghao and pink haired Hoshi sat on the other side busily checking their phones. Joshua and Seokmin looked awkward.

Seungcheol and Jeonghan came to them and as soon as the group saw them, they straightened.

"Thank you all for coming. I didn't think you would show up" Seungcheol said

"Well we are here now, what do you want to say?" Woozi said

There was bitterness in his voice but Seungcheol was prepared for it.

"We are here to clear the misunderstanding between us. It's not news that we have never liked each other. I'm sure that the news of me and Jeonghan's marriage was shocking but we never intended to hurt anyone"

Mingyu sighed. "We felt betrayed"

"We always thought we would be best men at your wedding" Wonwoo added.

"This sucks" Jun added.

Seungkwan looked straight at Jeonghan. "Don't you have something to say?"

Jeonghan sighed softly. He was going to be honest.

"Truthfully, I never wanted to marry Seungcheol. I couldnt stand him. I hated him. I couldn't bear the thought of being married to him. but my family were in crises and only his father could save us but somehow, after spending time together" He looked at Seungcheol and it felt like they were the only ones in the room. "I realized that I've made the right decision. I have fallen so deeply in love with him that it feels like it was a long time ago I hated him"

Jun laughed. "Love still conquers all" he said.

"What do you mean?" Mingyu asked.

"Remember how much Seungcheol used to like Jeonghan back in our first year, the first day he met him in front of the restaurant"

Jeonghan was shocked and looked at Seungcheol "Really?"

The letter's ears turned red.

"Jeonghan also couldn't stop talking about him after he said he saw him in front of a restaurant" Minghao said.

Jeonghan blushed hard as Seungcheol stared at him in amazement.

Hoshi smirked "Could it be that they both fell in love at the same time?" He remarked

"Wow, incredible and years later, destiny brought them together again after we all tried to stop them from being together" Wonwoo said.

Seungkwan smiled nuzzling into Vernon's shoulder. "If you think about it, it's kind of romantic" he whispered and his boyfriend nodded

"Romantic my foot" Woozi sneered.

"Why are you so antagonistic?" Mingyu yelled at Woozi. "This fighting wouldn't get us anywhere. It has rather stopped us from admitting certain things to each other"

"What the hell Mingyu, what are you saying? Jun shouted trying to interrupt his friend.

"Sorry oppa but this ends today"

There was silence. Everyone had a panicked expression and there was a tension in the air.

"hyung, why don't you admit that you've always been interested in Minghao" Mingyu exploded and the party turned into an uproar.

"You said you had always liked him since highschool but ever since, he joined their clique, you couldn't approach him" Mingyu said.

Jun looked down embarrassed but then shook when Minghao spoke

"Is that true Jun?" He said in a smooth tiny voice. Jun looked at him, his cheeks reddening and nodded.

"Yes!"

"Why didn't you say anything?"

Jun shrugged "We where from opposing sides. Our friends hated each other and I felt you hated me"

"I don't hate you...We used to be close in highschool. I thought you where the one who hated me" He paused as his face turned red.

Jun shook his head rapidly "No, that isn't true...I really like you"

Minghao smiled gently "I like you too a lot"

The smile that enveloped Jun's face was priceless

"I've liked you since high school and I always wanted to tell you but I guess we made the wrong friends"

"Yah!" Seungkwan screamed hitting his friends arm. They all laughed, the tension gradually easing a bit.

"So what do you say?" Jun said giving Minghao a flirty look.

"Can we go out sometime?" He said.

"Of course" Minghao agreed. Jun left his seat and went to hug Minghao. He squeezed himself close to him and the two began to laugh and giggle together.

Woozi rolled his eyes "It doesn't change anything." He said.

"I have a confession to make" Hoshi announced blushing as he looked at Woozi.

He cleared his throat "I've always found Woozi cute and sweet looking. I have liked him for quite a while now but I couldn't tell him"

Oooh....everyone cooed at the same time. Woozi turned as red as a tomato. He gulped unable to say anything.

"You see, in a way we are drawn to each other despite having different mindsets. We should try to get along" Seungcheol said.

Joshua stood up. "You're right...listen I no longer have any grudges against you. Actually  I am happy to see you looking like this, it's as if you've finally found your place. We dated for nearly two years and in all that time, I've never seen you look at me the way you look at him"

Joshua smiled as the couple looked at eachother. He grabbed Seokmin's hand.

"But now I've found something similar to what you have"  he looked at his partner and received a bright smile from him.

"I'm really happy that you've moved on Joshua and maybe on a good day, we can all double date" Jeonghan said

"That will be nice" He said. He turned to Seungcheol.

"Take care of him"

The two men shook hands "I will" Seungcheol replied. He turned to the others.

"And what do you guys say. Do we get your support?"

Everyone agreed to support them but Woozi remained quiet. They all waited eagerly for his response. He finally stood up.

"I guess it's time I move on too" He said giving Hoshi some side glances.

"I'm sorry for spreading the word around"

"It's alright, you actually did us a favour" Seungcheol whispered. Woozi smiled bitterly.

"You both will get my blessings as long as I'm still your best friend" He said with a mischievous grin.

Seungcheol laughed. "You'll always be my best friend buddy"

They hugged tightly. When they separated, Woozi hugged Jeonghan.

"Welcome to the family" He said.

"Thank you" Jeonghan responded. Soon, they all started hugging each other bringing to an end years of rivalry. They all started talking and chatting. Woozi and Hoshi stuck together talking deeply while Jun and Minghao seemed to be making plans for their date. No one seemed to mind them anymore.

"Let's get out of here" Seungcheol whispered to his husband and the latter nodded.

They both stood up. "We have a date to get to!" Seungcheol said.

"Have a nice date" Seungkwan yelled and they bowed before leaving hand to hand.

They returned to the car and Seungcheol drove off.

"I'm really happy today. I never thought you could pull this off. I'm glad I married you"

"I'm sure you are" Seungcheol muttered with a smile. They finally reached a park and stopped their car. There were people in the park, buying things, eating and relaxing. They bought ice-cream, rode a bike and bought couple shirts. When they were tired, Seungcheol led them to a bench facing a big lake. The lake was surrounded with trees and the scenery was beautiful. Jeonghan had never been here before. He had only being preoccupied with studies and most recently, books.

They sat side by side and Seungcheol took his hands. He looked worried

"There is something I have to tell you"

"Go on"

He took a deep breath wearing a very serious expression on his face "Mr Choi is not my real father!"

Jeonghan was astounded "What?"

Seungcheol nodded. "He's my late mother's second husband. My real father died two years after i was born and my sister Jessica was only five years old"

"My mother inherited everything from my late father. That was when Mr Choi came along. He was a cunny man. Little wonder how he was able to deceive my mother and got her to marry him. We moved to this town without knowing that Mr Choi had a bad reputation as a gangster. Not long after, my mother took ill and died leaving the company and all our possessions in the hands of my step father"

He squeezed Jeonghan's hand. "My step father is a really dangerous man and I have a bad feeling that he is going to do something really bad to your parents"

Jeonghan pulled away his hand from Seungcheol's. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"We where enemies remember and back then, I didn't really care what happened to you"

Jeonghan ran a hand over his head. "What are we going to do now?"

"We just have to wait. There's nothing else we can do"

"I'm sorry for thinking you're the son of that evil man"

Seungcheol shrugged "Don't worry about it. Most of my friends don't even know about this. This just proves how important you are to me"

Jeonghan came close and gave him a short kiss

"I'm so proud of you" He whispered.

Seungcheol drew him closer wrapping his arms around his body.

"I love you" He whispered and kissed him long and passionately. Jeonghan melted into him. There was no place else he wanted to be.

That night, they got home. There was a faint smell of nice home cooking coming from the kitchen. When they entered, Jessica came out into the living room.

"Welcome back" She said.

"Thank you....did you cook?" Jeonghan asked

Jessica nodded. "I sure did... Come let's eat dinner"

Seungcheol looked surprised as they followed Jessica to the dining area. There were sumptuous looking meals laid out on the table. They all sat down and ate in amicable silence.

"This is really delicious" Jeonghan praised

"Jessica is a chef. She went to a chef school in Hongkong" Seungcheol said. Jeonghan stared at Jessica in awe. She had no idea she had such culinary skills.

They finished their food and cleared the plates. After washing the dishes, Jessica called them to the living room. When they had all settled down, she cleared her throat.

"I'll be traveling to the states very soon"

"Why? " Seungcheol asked

"I need to start my life over again." She sighed. "There is something I have to tell you. I've been keeping it a secret for a long time but I couldn't take it anymore...as you know, Mr Choi is not our real father"

Jeonghan nodded "Seungcheol told me"

Jessica nodded biting her lips hard"He has been abusing me since I was fifteen years old"

Seungcheol's face twisted "What do you mean?" He said in a deathly

"You know what I mean" Jessica said, shame lingering in her features. Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol and could sense the killer intent rising from him

Seungcheol rose up in rage. "I'm going to kill that man"

"I couldn't tell you because I was ashamed. Even after I ran away to Hongkong, he found me and locked me up in the house telling everyone I had lost my mind. I don't even remember how many times he raped me. I got pregnant three times and miscarried them. I truly lost my mind for a while. I couldn't tell if I was dead or alive but then last month, I figured I couldn't take it anymore. This time I tried to fight him but he almost killed me. However I managed to escape. I didn't know where you lived but I was able to go to your school and got your address from a class mate of yours"

Tears poured down Seungcheol's eyes. "I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you but you should have told me"

Jessica shook her head. "I couldn't. He threatened to kill you if I ever told you or  anyone else...i can't loose you, you're all I have"

"I promise you, I will make him pay. I swear" Seungcheol fired out, clearly burning with anger. Jeonghan held Jessica's hands.

"You're a really brave woman. Not many people can go through what you did. I truly admire you"

"Thank you!"

That night, Jeonghan watched his husband sitting on top of the bed with a deadly look in his eyes. He massaged his shoulders.

"I'm going to kill him Jeonghan"

"Look at me" He turned Seungcheol's face to meet his. "I know you are angry but we are going to get him back for what he did to your sister. We will find evidence that he abused Jessica. We'll get doctor's reports..."

Seungcheol nodded trying so hard to calm himself down.

"Can we just go to bed Hannie?" He whispered.

Jeonghan kissed him, smiling "Of course"

He wrapped his arms around Seungcheol as they both laid on the bed together.

"I love you" he said. He received a soft snore as a response. He chuckled to himself. It's high time he slept too. He closed his eyes and allowed sleep take over.
