Chapter Nineteen
I'm sorry for the lame chapter. It's just basically about Ross's & Addison's family, but maybe I'll make up for it in the next chapter. No promises.
Writer's block is too obsessed with me that it decided not to leave.

"Shh, Bryan. It's nothing." I said to the young boy and quickly pulled my blouse down. He raised an eyebrow for a minute then shrugged. "I know it's not nothing, but I'm just gonna pretend that I didn't hear anything cause I'm a kid and all that stuff.." he rolled his eyes and ran into Lauren's arms.
Lauren carried Bryan and apologetically smiled at me. "Sorry about Bryan." she said. "No, no. It was nothing." I said and gave her a smile back. She turned around and walked away when I suddenly remembered my situation. Shoot, this is not happening. I called her name...
"Lauren, I-" but I was blocked by Addison, leaving the two of us alone. "Nice to see you again, blondie." she said in a sarcastic tone. "I'm already experiencing hell, and you still want me to meet the devil?" I muttered under my breath quietly, but I don't think I'm a good whisperer.
"So you think I'm the devil?" she asked and wrapped her arms over her chest. I smirked and said: "I'm not a good liar, you know." Her eyebrows pulled together and she slowly raised her hand, aiming for my head. I closed my eyes and prayed repeatedly : "If I die, please make Matthew Healy go to my funeral."
I stopped and my eyes widen when I realized what is happening. "What are you doing?" I asked. She looked at me with an evil smile. "I like your hair." she winked and walked pass me, bumping my shoulder on the way. I held the piece of hair she twirled and stared at it with horror.
"Hey, are you okay?" Ross asked. I looked at him with shock and shook my head. "Ross, I-I think I've been cu-cursed." I stuttered. "What? What do you mean cursed? Are you okay? Should I take you to the hospital?" he asked in a worried tone and made me face him.
"No! I'm okay, I guess," I said and grinned at him. "Just show me to my room?" He nodded and said: "Okay, but you better be sure that you're not lying to me." He grabbed my hand, not that it made me feel uneasy, and lead the way.
"Where are you two going?" Ross's Dad asked while eyeing our hands holding each other. I looked at Ross and mouthed: "I'll do it." He nodded and let me go. I walked towards Mr. Ellis said: "Thank you for accepting me here, Mr. Ellis." and held my hand out, which he surprisingly accepted.
"I didn't think I have choice," he sighed. "Ross and Lauren kept on talking non-stop about you, then next thing I knew, you're already my son's girlfriend who's living with us. It's a lot to take in, but I think I'll manage."
"Dad! Please, don't embarrass me." Ross shouted. "Raine, let's go before Dad tells you stuff you're not supposed to hear." he said and pulled me away from his Dad.
I took a last glance at Mr. Ellis's frowning face when Ross spoke: "Don't look at him." I looked at him with a confused face. "I know I don't have the right to ask this, but do you have a problem with your Dad?"
He stopped at his tracks. I thought he was going to give me the cold shoulder, but he didn't. We were already in front of a door, which I'm guessing was my room. He reached for the knob and opened the door.
My eyes widen at the sight. The room i so... pink. "This is your room. I hope it's okay for you." Ross said. "I didn't expect it to be this, uh, cute, but it will do." I said. "You better get going." I said and walked towards my luggage on the side, when Ross grabbed my arm.
He turned me around and reached for my hand. "Open." he commanded. I hesitated at first, but opened my hand like he said. He put the handle of a plastic bag between my fingers. "You're welcome." he said and left.
I took me a while to process what just happened. I blinked several times, then slowly peeped inside the plastic bag. I released a sigh of relief when I saw what it was. He is indeed, my lifesaver. "Thank you, Ross!" I shouted.
I didn't waste time and ran to the bathroom and did my thing. After a few deadly minutes of pain and loud sounds of opening 'it' in which society can't fix, I went out of the bathroom.
I first grabbed my phone on the bed and quickly called Zara. After a few rings, she finally answered. "Hello?" the voice from the other side said. My eyes widen when I realized that it wasn't Zara's voice. "Dude, if you're pranking me, I swear, I will go Bruce Lee on-"
"Grey?" I asked. "Raine?" he asked back, making me laugh, "No, I'm Chewbacca." I joked and rolled my eyes. "Andrea Lorraine Thompson, why haven't you called me? Do you hate me?" he asked like a baby.
"Well, I was technically calling Zara, and yes, I hate you so much that I want to kill you." I said. I can never have a serious conversation with this guy. "Why do you have her phone, anyway?"
"I stole it." he casually said. "Hey Gray, have you seen my phone? I know I left it in the kitchen, but now it's gone." I heard Zara ask from the other line. "Shoot, she noticed." Grey muttered over the phone.
"Grey? What the... why are you facing the wall and sitting beside the trash bin?" Gray asked his brother from the other line. "Uh, admiring the beauty of the wall and the smell of the trash bin?" he said in a questioning tone. "I gotta go, see ya, Lorraine." and he hung up.
"What just happened?" I asked in thin air. I shook my head and laughed. Those people are crazy. At that moment, somebody knocked on the door. "Wait!" I shouted and walked towards it.
I reached for the door knob and opened it. "Hello." Bryan greeted in a small voice. "Hi, Bryan. Come in." I greeted back. He shook his head and faced the ground. "I don't like pink."
"Oh, well," I laughed. "Why did come here then?" He smiled widely and held out his hand. He was holding a flower, a Sunflower. "It's from my brother." he said. I examined the flower and is amazed with it.
"Thank-" I stopped when I noticed that he already gone. "Okay..." I muttered and went in my room, closing the door on the way. I reached for the phone laying on my bed and texted Ross.
"How did you know I love sunflowers and tulips? Anyway, thanks for the flower." I typed and sent it happily. After a few minutes, he replied. "Flowers? When did I sent you flowers? But, thanks for the tip."
No freaking way.
"Did he just... He wasn't... Bryan!" I shouted and ran out of my room, but Bryan was nowhere to be seen.
