Picard's POV

I barely got any sleep last night, I'm so exhausted I could fall asleep right here. I glanced over at Q who was sitting on the floor in front of me. He looked so happy with himself, did he like torturing me or was he really that unaware. I looked around the bridge, Data was wearing a deerstalker.

Weasley walked up to me holding a tablet in his hand. "Captain-" He said trying to hand me the tablet. "Not now, Weasley." I groaned, I could normally deal with Weasley but today was different.
"But-"
"Not now!"
"I really need to-" I stood up and looked down at Weasley. Maybe this way he'll leave me alone.
"Weasley, I had to memorize lines so your sorry ass could live! Now for fuck sake leave me alone!" Weasley looked at me in fear before quickly walking out of the bridge. I sat back down and leaned back trying to process what just happened.

The room was uncomfortably quiet. I could feel everyone's eyes on me. Oh god, I just yelled at Weasley. He wasn't doing anything wrong and I took my anger out on him. I should go apologize to him, what do I say? I had work to do now, so I'll meet with Weasley later. I just need to figure out what I'm going to say. I took a deep breathe to calm down. "Captain, I think you should go on shore leave." Troi said in an urgent tone.

"That's not necessary, I'm fine. Data-"
"Shore leave? That might be fun, I can take care of the travel." Q exclaimed interrupting me. God I don't want to know where Q wants to take me or what he wants to do when we get there. I might've been okay with going on shore leave if I wasn't going to be there. "There's not going to be any shore leave. Now Data-"

"Captain, you're not fit for duty." I decided to ignore Troi. I was or I would be if Q wasn't driving me insane. "Data what-"
"Oh come on! It'll be fun!" Q interrupted again.
"I'm not going on shore leave!" I probably shouldn't have snapped at them, it didn't help prove I was fit for duty.

Well here I was on shore leave with my "husband" Q. We were on Risa a glorified sex planet, of course he's choose here.
"Sooooo what do you want to do?"
"I'm going to sleep."
"Sound good I'll join you."
"Q, if you do I will rip out your eyes."
"So touchy."
"How about you go explore the island or something I need some time alone."
"Okay sounds good." Q disappeared, well that was easier than I thought.

I grabbed the book I had brought with me and started reading. I didn't get very far through the book before I felt a large amount of shame. I can't believe I yelled at Weasley like that. I should apologize to him when I get back.

"Hello! I finished exploring!" Oh great this idiot is back.
