"Seriously shivaay, I still can't forget that day, for a moment I thought Anika will die" Aryan said and sighed dramatically

"Aryan" I shouted with anger

Shiv pov

I couldn't sleep that when I returned to anika's apartment she started sharing how her day went but my mind was distracted with my uncle's words, why everyone wants to divide why they can't see us happy

We we're currently in bed and Anika was talking about something I don't know we cuddling and suddenly she stopped talking

"Shivaay are you even listening what I'm saying" she asked with a frown

"Yeah.... Of course"I said hesitantly 

"Liar"she said and pouted

"I'm just stressed with work in office, and it's late now you should sleep"I said and pecked her forehead

"Okay"she replied and snuggled into me

I hugged her tightly and tried to sleep but I knew I couldn't able to sleep tonight

Next day

I was in my office and doing my work I tried talking to Mom but she wasn't picking my calls, I sent my bodyguard with Anika, it was too hard to make her understand the situation but it was necessary hence I managed to do it

Suddenly my office door burst open and aryan came inside

"What are you doing here"I asked with a frown he is my uncle's son what the hell he want

"Dad send me to ask you your final answer"he said and sat on the couch present in my office

"I already said it yesterday I'm not going to leave Anika at any cost"I said with anger

"Cost yeah.... But don't you think anika's life is quite a high price for being with her, I mean being with her memories, right?" He said and I clenched my fist

"Stay away from her"I said in a deadly calm tone

"When let's do this if you will stay away from her we will also do the same"he replied and I massaged my temples

"Why you are doing this"I asked

"Come on bro she is not a right for you, there are lots of girls in world choose anyone except her" he said and chuckled

"I can't do that, I love her"I said

"When this love is dangerous for her life"he replied and I want to kill him right there only

"Comeon shivaay leave her, break her heart at least she will live her rest of life in peace"he said

"I can't"I replied

"Fine, as you wish but then don't blame me if you find Anika in hospital counting her last breath rather than waiting for you in her apartment, bye"he said and left

I panicked and called anika's no. But she wasnt answering the call

I dialed my bodyguard's no. and he picked after three rings

"Where is she?" I asked with a panic tone

"Sir, she just left the office in her car" he replied

"Why aren't you with her?" I asked with anger

"Sir, she said she is going to home and she will manage so" he replied and I cursed under my breath and hang the call

Suddenly my phone ranged and it was Anika, I quickly picked it up

"How are you" I asked in fearful voice

"What happened? Why are you asking this like this? Everything is fine right?" She asked and I took a deep breath

"Everything is fine, I was just worried you are fine right?"I asked again

"Yeah I'm fine"she replied and I sighed with relief

"Where are you?" I asked with concern

"I'm driving and on a way to my apartment"Anika replied on phone

"Anika, listen to me carefully reach home as soon as you can and locked the door don't open it for anybody except me alright"I said in a terrified voice

"What happened shivaay are you alright" she asked with concern

"Yes I'm aright just take care of yourself and reach home fast"I said

"Oh shit!!" She yelled and fear engulfed me

"What happened"I asked

"Shivaay brakes are not working"she said in a fearful voice

"What? Where are you?..." I heard a loud crash and my heart sank and my body got number on the spot

"Anika"I shouted and a tear dropped from my eye

"Anika..... Anika...."I yelled, but no one replied I ran out of my room and drive the car as fast I could and then I saw anika's car upside down at the middle of the road

I immediately ran towards the car and and saw the car was in bad condition and lots of blood was there on the road, my mouth went dry and fear englufed me

I reached to the hospital where she was taken and when I reached the receptionist she said Anika was in emergency ward

As soon as reached I saw two doctors talking to each other

"Doctor, Anika the girl who had an accident a few minutes ago" I asked with scared voice

"She is really critical we have to do surgery soon"doctor replied

"Surgery?" I asked with fear in voice

"Yes... Plz complete the formalities so that we can start the procedure soon"they said and left

I fell on my knees and tears started following from my eyes

Soon I felt a hand on my shoulder I told my head and saw Sid, I immediately hugged him tightly

"Don't worry bro, she will be fine"he assured me and then I notice all our friends were there

Suddenly I felt my phone ringing I picked it up without glancing at it

"Brother, how's she? See what your stubborness did" he said with fake sympathetic voice

"Where are you?" I yelled with anger

"At home, waiting for you only"he said and I ran towards my car ignoring my friends questions and calls

As soon as I reached his mansion I ran inside and saw him sitting lazily on the couch, I headed towards him and punched him hard and started hitting him

Soon few guards came and separated him from me

"I will kill you, bastard" I screamed trying to come out from guards hold

"Enough, shivaay wasn't wrong?" Uncle asked and I looked at him with red eyes

"You did this, it's all becoz of you Anika is in hospital, I will kill you all"I screamed and soon uncle nodded his head to guards and they release me

"Sign the contract leave her alone and she will live a better life"uncle said and threw papers on the table

I took the contact papers with trembling hands and took a look of it

"I have a condition"I announced and he nodded asking me to continue

"Anika is not well, I will not leave her until she will perfectly healthy and fine"I said looking at those papers

"Deal, but you have to marry someone" he said and I nodded

I gulped and sighed before finally sighing those damn papers

I left the place without even glancing back as soon as I reach hospital I was informed that the surgery is completed successfully and she is shifted in a room but still unconscious

I went inside her room and saw her pale face, I headed towards her and sat on the stool beside her bed and took her hand in my hand

"Now no one will trouble you, your safety is my priority, I know you will learn to live without me, I don't about me Anika but I hope you will stay happy and safe always"I said and tears started falling from my eyes

"You know what just becoz you told Dad about that accident he punished me for not listening his orders and locked me in basement for that whole month, which anika took to get healed god before I knew she left the country and my plan to get her got failed" aryan said and I took few steps towards him hastily and punched him hard on his face
