I Hate Everything About You Ch. 12

"Hello? Yes, sir...its me, Umber. I'll need a couple of grunts here with me in Viridian Forest."

"Why is that?"

"Because it's important. I've got a plan, and I'll need one or two grunts to help. I want them here as soon as possible."

"Hm...alright. I'll send one. Anything else?"

"Make sure he's got a flying Pokemon that can carry just me."

I smirked. "Thank you." I hung up, putting my Pokegear back. I was hiding in Viridian Forest, away from Silver and/or Gold, who were in Viridian City looking all over for me.

It was around 8 o'clock pm, and I was still freezing in my dress. Well I'd be back at the hideout in no time, just as soon as this grunt gets here...

"I wouldn't need a grunt if I had Dragonair..." I mumbled to myself, remembering that Dragonair left me too.

"You wouldn't leave me, right?"

"Dra!" It squeaked, and shook its head no. It nudged my arm again, and I patted its head slightly.

"Thanks..." I said.

"You broke your promise, ass-hole..." I sighed.

"Hey, you're the Umber kid, right?" I looked over to the voice, and saw a grunt wearing his usual black uniform. He had a Golbat perched on his arm, which I assumed was the Pokemon he used to fly here.

"Yeah, that's me." I said, walking over to him. I held my hand out for the Pokemon's pokeball. "Now give me Golbat so I can head back to the hideout."

"What? Why would I do that?" He asked.

"Listen to me. Give me Golbat's Pokeball, and let me fly back. You go to Viridian City looking suspicious. There are two boys running around looking for me there, and they will most likely accuse you of doing something to me. So pretend you did, and say that I'm in the hideout, but don't tell them I'm a Rocket, since they don't know. Just make sure they get there, got it?" I explained.

The grunt nodded, handing me Golbat's Pokeball. "You heard her Golbat, fly her back to the hideout." He said to the bat Pokemon. It nodded it's head and flew over to me, allowing me to grab it's legs. I did so, and started flying off to Celadon City.

~~~
I landed right outside of the hideout, which was known as the Rocket Game Corner. I returned the Golbat to its Pokeball, and entered the building. Not making it super obvious, I walked over to the poster with the hidden button behind it, pressing it. The floor to the right of me opened up, revealing the staircase. Everyone in there was too busy playing their stupid games to notice. I just quickly walked down before anyone noticed.
I walked to Giovanni's office, walking in. But he wasn't even in there, only the executives.
"Oh, its you. Did your mission go well?" Archer asked.
"Where's Giovanni?" I asked, ignoring his question.
"Not here right now." Petrel said, currently sitting in the boss's seat.
"Well where did he go?" I asked again.
"That is none of your concern." He replied, still not giving me the answer I was looking for.
I just sighed in defeat. "Fine, whatever. Don't tell me. But Silver and his friend is most likely on their way here to get me, because they think that I was captured. When they get here, I want you guys to be prepared..."
"And lock them up?" Archer asked.
"I guess. I don't know why I needed to get the boss's son...just do whatever with them." I replied.
"Alright, we'll go with your plan." He said. "Just get back to your room and get ready."
"Fine." I said, walking out.
~~~

It was about an hour later, but the alarms went off, meaning we had 'visitors'. I smirked to myself, getting ready to face those two.

I could hear the running footsteps of a few grunts out in the hallway, so I grabbed Golbat's Pokeball seeing that it was the only Pokemon I had with me at the moment.I ran out, following the other behind. From where I was, I could already see Gold's Explotaro and Silver's Sneasel. I stayed around the corner of where the two hallways meet, where they couldn't see me. It was too soon for them to know.

Multiple amounts of bat Pokemon were released from their Pokeballs, attacking the two Pokemon and their trainers. With a simple flamethrower and blizzard attack, they were all knocked out, along with the grunts running from the duo. All that was left were the 4 executives and their Pokemon.

"Just give up already!" Gold yelled at them. "Explotaro, flamethrower!" The Typloshion released its flamethrower attack, hitting all of their Pokemon.

"Koffing, use smog!" Petrel's Koffing created purple smoke filling the hallway, poisoning Gold's and Silver's Pokemon.

"Sneasel, blizzard!" Silver's Sneasel blasted them all with cold air, nearly knocking them all out.

I sighed. These sorry excuses for executives needed help. "Golbat, help them out. Use cross poison." Golbat nodded, flying over to the battle and attacking Explotaro and Sneasel.

"Where'd he come from?!" Silver yelled. "Sneasel, knock it out with icy wind!" Sneasel hit the Golbat, with Golbat falling back a bit. Now Golbat couldn't hear me from here, and surely Silver and Gold would see me.

"Explotaro, flame wheel on the Golbat!" Typloshion ran toward the bat Pokemon, and running into it while covering itself in flames.

Now Golbat is really screwed. I bit my lip before shouting to Golbat. "Use air slash on the both of them!" Golbat got itself together, slashing the two Pokemon. They both flinched a bit, so I decided to use this time to attack once more. "Now use--"

"Umber?" I peeked around the corner I was hiding near, and looked at a very confused Gold and a very pissed Silver.

"Umber, what are you doing?" Gold asked. "If you're free then come on, let's get out of here!"

"I can't do that." I said, eyeing the executives. Archer and Proton grabbed them, while Ariana took their Pokeballs and returned Sneasel and Explotaro.

"Umber...? What's wrong? Why not? Just tell me they're forcing you to stay here, just say it!!" Gold said, his golden eyes showing hurt and looking glassy.

"She's not being forced, you idiot." Silver growled, looking down. "She's one of them." He looked up and sent a cold glare towards me. His silver eyes were filled with hatred. They weren't those soft, loving eyes I saw earlier.

'You've hurt him...'

I could have sworn I heard my parents, but I shook the thoughts out of my head...

They were beginning to be forced to where they'll stay, so I followed behind. They were thrown in their own cells, and while Gold grabbed the bars trying to open it, Silver just sat there, looking down with his hair hanging in his face. The executives walked away, while I remained there smirking at them.

"W-Why Umber...why would you do this to us?" Gold asked, shaking a little. I couldn't tell if it was out of anger or sadness though.

"If you butted out, you wouldn't be here right now. It was mainly your fault when you decided to hang with me when we met outside of Goldenrod City." I said. "My business was with Silver."

"I can't believe it..." He said quietly, falling to his knees.

"Tell me the truth. Who are you really?" Silver asked, finally speaking up.

"Hm? You really want to know?" I smirked. "Fine. It's true that my parents died in a house fire. It's true that me and Totodile got into a fight. But it was your father who found us, and took me in. I wanted to join Team Rocket, but that pesky Totodile refused. He left me. My best friend left me. But I still joined Team Rocket. A few weeks ago, the week I met you two, I was sent on a mission to bring Silver back here. Why? I don't know, but I was happy; I was finally trusted with a task. I got Dratini from the Game Corner, and took off."

"Where's Dragonair now?" Gold asked.

"That stupid dragon left me too. He didn't want to help me bring Silver here, so I released him. He was worthless anyways." I answered, continuing on. "I came up with this plan, to trick you here. I didn't plan on Gold being here too, but it still worked no matter what."

"I can't believe I actually trusted you!" Silver yelled, getting up from the cold ground. "You messed with my feelings, you made me feel caring towards you! I can't believe you!" He kept yelling.

"Silver..." Gold said, trying to calm him down.

"How many lies have you told me, Umber?? If that's even your real name!"

"Silver, please..."

"You know how I feel right now?! You know how it feels to fall for someone and for them to crush your heart?! Yeah, that's right, I actually had feelings for you but now you can forget it!"

"Calm down..."

"I will never love a Rocket! I hate you!! I hate everything about you!!"

"Silver, yelling won't help anything right now!"

Silver sighed, finishing. He turned his back to me, not saying another word. I turned to walk away, deciding this would be a good time to leave.

I found myself walking to the office, finding all the executives in there again.

"So when will Giovanni be back?" I asked.

"Oh, about that..." Archer said. "I guess we owe you a little explaination."

"What? What explaination?" I asked.

"Giovanni was never here."
