Dream #2

We were back in the same coffee shop again. We were laughing and talking about a lot of things that I almost lost track of time.

"I almost forgot! I need to go to my university to pass my requirements." I regretfully and apologetically told him.

As much as I want to spend the whole day with him, I also need to pass my requirements or else I won't be graduating senior high school.

"No problem. Do you want me to take you to your university?" He asked, and I smiled at that.

I accepted his offer so that I won't have to commute or ride the bus. The bus gives me intense headaches always. Although I have been riding it for years and years now, it has never changed.

His car was expensive looking, I know it's also expensive considering the brand name. He opened the door of the passenger side for me, I muttered a thank you. When I finally sat inside, I noticed how clean was the inside is.

His perfume is also equally distributed in the inside. It's sending million shivers on my spine. I like the feeling.

"Tell me the exact location," he told me when he was driving the car out of the parking area.

I told him the address and he nodded and typed something in his phone. I don't really know and how to describe what is he doing because I have never ride a car before, even a taxi, most especially that I'm alone. I don't easily trust drivers.

But when it comes to Kaiden, the trust issue I have suddenly vanished.

I don't think he's a bad person...

"Thank you so much, Kaiden. You can go now if you're a bit busy..."

He flashed a smile. And trust me, I melted like a butter in a microwave.

"No, it's okay. I'll wait for you. Besides, I thought we'll spend the day together at the cafe so I made time," he told me.

I was shocked, honestly. I don't know how to display the feeling so I kept them buried inside to save me from the embarrassment. I just couldn't contain it all.

"You'll get bored here, do you want to come with me?" I asked him, I feel my cheeks blushing.

He nodded and took his car keys. A sign that he wants to come with me.

"So, this is where I study..." I told him as we passed the gates of our university.

"What year are you?" He asked me as I led him to the office of my advisor.

"I'm still at my last year of senior high school..." I said, and I quickly realized that I don't even know if he's still studying or what. "Do you still study or are you already done?" I asked him.

"I'm still studying, Kei. I'm in my 3rd year of engineering," he answered my question.

I was a bit relieved at that. If he's already a graduate and working, wouldn't it be weird... Because of our age gap?

Well, I don't really care about other people would say about us.

"Engineering... So you're good at math?" I jokingly asked him.

He chuckled, and goddamn, I almost tired of feeling so much emotions in every thing that he does.

"How do you define good? I just think I'm hardworking and I study. If you think that's what good means, then you got it."

"Can you help me with my Stats?" I joked again. He keeps laughing at my jokes and I feel extra special about that.

"I'll see what I can do, just tell me when or where."

I passed all the requirements that is needed, and my teacher even teased me for having a ‘boy’ next to me.

"I didn't know that it is required to have a partner in passing your subject requirements," my teacher said while I blushed.

"Ma'am!" I exclaimed and I busied myself in making sure I had everything that I need.

I was carrying a tote bag with me the whole time. All my things fit perfectly in the bag.

"She asked me if I want to come with her, I was willing to wait in the car," Kaiden replied to my teacher while chuckling.

"Really?" My teacher said amusingly. "Kei here is an introverted person, I was wondering how were you able to make her let you follow her around... That's strange hmm..."

"It's not a big deal!" I defended.

"Love makes us do crazy things, huh?" She ignored me, as if I was not in the room, she keeps talking to Kaiden who was laughing the whole time.

"I believe it does, ma'am..." He replied with a smile.

"Well then, Ms. Kei, you can come back to get your clearance paper the next day after I evaluate all your requirements. You are free to go," she said after I passed my papers.

I nodded and smiled at her. She returned that smile and faced Kaiden.

"Nice talking to you, young man. Please make a move already, Kei is a rare kind," she winked and I can't help but blush profusely.

"I'll keep that in mind, ma'am. See you soon," he said and he took my tote bag from my hands.

"I'm... I'm sorry about that," I immediately told him after we left the room.

"Hey, you don't need to say sorry. You didn't do anything wrong."

I didn't answer since I was still blushing because of the embarrassment. My teacher thought we were a couple and Kaiden might think... I don't know... It's just embarrassing that my teacher keeps teasing us.

"Look, Kei..." He stopped walking, which made me stop too. He faced me and held my shoulders.

Our position was a bit close, so I can't help but blush a lot more. I bowed down a little so that he won't see it.

"Look at me," he demanded.

I shook my head and tried taking his hands away from my skin. But it was no use, he wasn't gripping me hard but I had no strength to make him let go.

"Okay. But listen to me..." He said and his face went further to me. "I like you, Kei. If you let me, I will court you."

I was awaken because of a sudden scream downstairs. The reason that I was mad the whole day.

That was it again! I was a few words closer to my happily ever after, but my cousin blew it off!

But... The fact that Kaiden admitted that he likes me completely blew my mind!

Is this a dream?

Yes. It was all a dream. But who cares?

Nevertheless, I worked hard to finish all my morning routine for school. I thought I had already submitted my requirements, but then I remembered that I submitted them all in my dream, not in real life.

I did everything, so I was a bit happy while I was in school. I kept thinking about Kaiden and what it's gonna be for us.

"You seem happy," my teacher— the same teacher that teased me to death from my dream.

"I just woke up in the right side of the bed, ma'am!" I happily told her.

"Is it a boy, huh?" She joked, and I froze.

"Hmm..." I just said and she smiled.

"I was just kidding! Go on, I will be waiting for your requirements tomorrow."
