(I drank some and poured it on his jeans and said "thanks for the suggestion"
Startled with my unexpected adventure, he was just BLANK.)

Just then we heared a knock. "Please open the door, I look horrible" he said feigning sadness. As soon as I turned back I could feel the coldness of the cold water, that fell on me.

"Why are you sweating so profusely and that too in a winter night? I think we should get your thyroid checked up," he said with a smirk.

I walked towards the door feigning that was nothing, but the cold water got chills inside me. I opened the door.

I looked up and saw a face which had its confused expression. But it was soon replaced by the smiling and asked "are you Jessy? I'm Raj, Nihanth's best friend."

I shouted from the door "here is Raj, I'm letting him in."

While walking towards the hall, I said "yea! I know you from the pics in his room"

He was about 6'3" and I pulled his shirt down asked him to bend so that I could reach his ear. I was just like a little puppy infront of him.

I whispered "I think Nihanth has urge incontinence."

Raj gave a confused look, until he himself saw Nihanth.

There was a burst of laughter from both of us after seeing Nihanth.

"I think he forgot wearing a diaper!" Raj winked at me.

Looking at Nihanth he said, "from now, I got a sister to tease you man."

We three, talked for hours about our childhood memories, especially Raj's and Nihanth's.

But I felt something strange about Raj. I can see myself in him(the depressive phase)

Even though he was smiling, there was a tint of sadness in his words.

He said he have to leave early. He searched his pocket to get his car keys, but in that attempt he successfully threw a prescription.

I took the prescription from the floor and I can see the trade name of the drug which I used (sedative and anti-anxiety drug).

He left.

I asked Nihanth to drop at my home and soon we left his home.

We reached our home.

I felt something was wrong with Raj. So I asked Nihanth if we can go to Raj's house.

Nihanth: at this time?? Are you sure??

Me: yea, please don't waste time. Let's hurry up.

We both went to Raj's house. I quickly entered into his room, imagining a scene of him putting a fistful of tablets into his mouth with one hand and glass in another hand.

But thank God, we were little early. I could see him preparing for the scene.
He opened all the tablets successfully and I guess he went to bring glass of water to gulp them.

As soon as he returned I slapped him.. so hard that
- the sound of slap dominanted the sound of breaking of glass.
- my hand was burning due to the friction between my hand and his cheek.
-his cheek immediately swollen.

I slapped him, but I didn't know the reflex tears were coming out of MY eyes.

"I thought you would be as responsible as a brother, don't show me your face again and don't think me as your sister",I warned him.

Nihanth came to his room. I turned facing him and said "do you think I will ever be able to trust anyone even after this??"

I then ran out of his house, called a taxi and returned home.

He came to our home very angrily and barged into my room.

My parents didn't stop him, infact they left into their rooms, only to give us privacy.

Me: please I'm not in a position to talk to anyone

Nihanth: are you mad? How can you come alone. Ohh!! you trusted cab driver more than me!! That's impressive.

Okay fine, don't trust me.

I don't expect that from you.

But why did you bring me to this position?

The minute I saw your photo I fell in love with you, you were prettier in that than outside because the photo didn't have trust issues.

I again fell in love before we actually met, when you were handling a teasing person on road.

I fell in love with your infectious smile.

I fell in love with the look, you look at me.

I fell in love when you left said you have trust issues and left.

I fell in love when you were honest with me and told everything which you never said to anyone.

I fell in love the way you understood others emotions.

I fell in love, when you teased me.

I fell in love, when you saved my one and only best friend.

The more and more I know about you, I loved you more and more.
After saying this he left my room.

But soon came again and held my face which his soft palms and made our lips touch each others.

I always thought a kiss would be romantic and sensual.

But..

This was
A Kiss which made his hidden tear to come out.
A kiss which was soothing to a painful heart.
A kiss which transferred his emotions.
A kiss which pleaded to trust him.
A kiss which was nothing but a true emotion of love.
A kiss which parted us for now, only to unite later.

We parted our lips and ourselves with the ring of my phone. It was 12:01am

"Happy 23" he said. I then realised it was my birthday.

Nihanth: "Iam sorry. This is the last attempt which I had, I can't express everything in words"

Before leaving he added, "you have said everything about you, without trust?"
