I donnu why... But I want to write a chap related to how my parents react in different scenarios....

Class 6
Parents: Study sincerely.... After 10 th you can enjoy your life.
Just 4 years!

Me: YESSSS! REALLY!!???
Then I will study hard for 4 years ^^

Class 7
Parents: you are doing Great Joe! Just 3 more years and then you are a free bird!

Me: *doing my happy dance*

Class 8 Result days

Teacher: Your child is brilliant. She keeps chattering during the whole class but she managed to get 92%.
Congratulations Joe.

Parents: *ignoring all the praises. Emphasising on chattering*
You idiot girl! I always told you to keep quite and listen to your teacher. But you never do! What am I going to do with ya!

Me: *puppy eyes* B-But I kept above 90 .

Teacher: *trying to explain* Please don't scold her. She is a good student.

Parents: *ignoring the teacher completely* Let us get back home then we will say you!
*giving me an angry look*

Me: *at the verge of crying*

Meanwhile when I reach home....
I go and hide in a corner of my room

Class 9 starting
Parents: I shouldn't hear a single complain about you!
*giving me an angry look*

Me: *shivers* F-Fine

(Note: my mom doesn't stay with me. She works in some other place but visits us once a month)

Class 9 report card day

Teacher: Joe is one of the best girl I have ever met! She is good in debating... Dancing.... Studing and etc.

Parents: *smiling a bit* Thank you maam. But tell me... What's her result?

Me: *biting my nails nervously*

Teacher: Here~
*handing the report card smiling*

Parents: *looks at the card*
*expression changes to anger*
*greeting the teacher*
*goes out of the class*

You better start studying!

Me: B-But try to understand! 9th was hard!!!

Parents: Now blame on the class! Everyone does that to hide their mistake!

Me: *goes back home*
*bangs the door shut*
*sits in a corner*

Class 10 Board exams
Parents: Do well ok? You are our pride!
If you don't keep good marks I won't let you in

Me: *ignoring them*
*eats my breakfast and goes to school*

AFTER EXAM
Me: phewww..!! It was hard.

Parents: Hard!??!!
That means you won't get full???!!

Me: *realising my mistake*
*sweat drop*
I guess???

Parents: *keeps on ranting the same thing till the start of another exam*

Me:

Board exam result day

Me: *bites my nails nervously*
*sweat drop*

Mom: How much do you expect?

Me: not much.... 93-94?

Mom: *nods angrily*

Science - 94
Sst: 98
2 nd language : 99

Computer : 100

Me:*calculating my marks*
*freezed at one place*
*shocked*
9-97%!
Mom!!!!!! 97!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parents: *happy* Congratulations My girl!
*calls everyone*

Meanwhile me the whole day : Thank you!

First: I studied hard for it. No parties coz my parents didn't allow. Nothing. Just tuitions and tuitions.
Second: see what happens next).

The next day:
Mom: you aren't the topper!
If you had studied a lil harder then you would have been the topper!

Me:but I am satisfied!

Parents: Nothing can happen to you! I thought you would be a good child! But FORGET IT !!!

Me: *puppy eyes*
Mom.... You said I can be a free bird after 10!
As.... I have passed 10th standard...

Mom: yes... You would have your dream job.... Money everything
