"Huh? What's that?" I curiously asked myself as I saw something round moving in the distance. It seems to be gliding towards me at a decent speed. Not to fast but not to slow either.

Once it reaches a few meters where I can see it, I saw that it was a slime. A blue blob that had two dots for eyes.

"Eh?" I asked as the slimes reached me and touch me. I saw my hp going down by one. "Huh?? Ehh???" I blinked in surprise as the slimes kept on hitting me, just chipping one hp at a time.

Now that I took a closer look at it's body, I saw a solid looking thing inside it and I instantly thought it might be it's core so I just pierce through it's body and destroyed it's core.

The slime instantly popped, leaving a liquid puddle in it's place and I saw my exp go my about a few. "Well at least they give some exp even if it's a small amount" I mumbled and began to look around more.

Few hours later, I managed to find six other slime and my level went up by one.

"Maybe I should try finding some more slimes before I take on the boss" I said before I realized something. "Wait, where the fuck am I gonna get food from?" I asked out loud, realizing that slimes can't be eaten as they dissolve after you break their core.

"Hey system! I wouldn't die from hunger right?" I asked out loud to my system.

[ you probably would die of hunger host but don't worry! It might take a few days or even a week before that happens ]

The system said making me groan. "Fuck.. I need to finish this faster" I grumbled and went to quickly find some more slimes.

"I better end this quickly, I don't wanna starve" I mumbled and quickly went to an unsuspecting slime. I jumped at it, piercing it's core with my claws.

It popped without any resistance before it even knew what was happening. "Good, just a few more" I said as I watch my exp raise by a few points.

I then continued looking for more slimes to raise my level even just by one. "Ugh why is it so hard to find them" I mumbled under my breath as I wondered deeper into the meadows.

As I ventured deeper, the flower patches got a bit latter and the grass was a bit thicker. Water droplets would occasionally fall down from the flowers or grass, and I don't even know how those water droplets got there.

Finally, after exploring for about 15 or 20 minutes I finally found some slimes, not just one but three of them. I also noticed they were a tad bit bigger than the ones I encountered before and they had a darker shade of blue in them.

The levels also increased a bit making me think for a moment. "Okay this is great, I could potentially get a few more exp from these slimes as they have higher levels.

But I also don't know if they have skills whatsoever since they're different looking from the other slimes I had seen so far" I muttered to myself before remembering that I had my fireball magic so I decided to use that.

I think hard of the skill as I raised my arms, a small ball of flames ignited, growing bigger and bigger by each passing second.

Once it was bug enough, I threw it one the first slime. The slime didn't even had the time to Dodge as my fireball made contact with it.

It melted, leaving it perfectly fine core behind a liqued puddle. The other two slimes looked at me before releasing thin blades of water, which surprised me as I quickly and narrowly dodged it.

I prepared another fireball as I constantly dodge the water blades that were coming my way. Once I got my fireball reading, I threw it at the slimes.

Two water blades intercepted it, making it disappear in a cloud of smoke. "Eh?! What the heck! This is only the second floor! Oh come on!" I complained with a huff as I checked my mana before readying another fireball.

'Okay, looks like I only have enough mana to fire three more fireballs. If this one fails I'll just jump straight at them' I thought and released my fireball once it was ready.

This time though, I succeeded in hitting one of the slimes, making it disappear into a puddle of liquid with its core intact right in the middle of the puddle.

The other slime released one last water blade before trying to escape. "Trying to escape huh, not a chance" I said and run towards it.

I jumped towards it, and pierced its core using my claws. It then disappeared into a puddle, just like the rest of the slimes that I killed.

I looked back and went back to the other I killed not long ago and broke it's core. "Oh! They give more exp than the regular ones" I mumbled as I stated my exp.

"Alright! Just a few more of these and I'll level up!" I cheered but then wince in pain when I felt something hit my back. I let out some weird spider noise as I turned around and jumped back.

I saw four other darker colored slime and two of them were ready to fire those thin water blades at me. I groaned, realizing that I was off guard by these slimes and even got injured.

"Dang it" I cursed out under my breath and went try and jump directly at them, which proves to be a stupid idea as the four of them released their water blades which made me jump back.

"Ugh dang it, I don't have enough mana for this" I grumbled and continued dodging the water blades. "Tsk, looks like I need to get away first and rest to regenerate my mana" I huffed and jumped away from a few water blades.

"I'll be back you damn slimes" I said and went to retreat.
