As I wondered around, I found three more goblins, killing them and bringing my level to 8. I also discovered that they had crystals in them, with a quick question to the system, I learned they were called mana crystals and they can be sold to merchants if you were a hunter.

But for monsters, those crystals can be used to bring back mp. So that's what I did, everytime I killed a goblin, I quickly swallowed it's crystal to help me recover my mp more quickly.

"Alright, next goblin!" I hummed to myself as I happily bobbed my head side to side as I walked around.

I also tried using my sticky web to trap them, which of course worked really well. After than, once they were trapped I would cut their necks using my steel threads.

"Target spotted" I mumbled to myself as I jumped and climbed over a tree, trying to stay hidden and trap the unexpected goblin.

Once the goblin was within my webs reach, I instantly lunged down at it. My webs at the ready.

"Skreee?!" The goblin was startled with my sudden appearance and tried to defend itself by raising it's stone knife at me. It was useless, I instantly bind it's hand and feet before quickly finishing it off by chopping it's head using steel thread.

Level up!

'I gained another level, looks like the higher I level up, the more xp I need. Which means I need to hunt more goblins in order to advance to the next level' I thought as I stared at my status screen.

"Oh?" I tilted my head in curiosity as I stared at the words that was next to my level. 'Ready for evolution?' I thought.

"Does this mean I can evolve?" I asked with a confused tone. "Should I just press it then?" I muttered before looking around, finding no goblins near by.

"Alright, I can't take any risk so I'm just gonna climb up that tree and try it out" I said and began to carefully climb one of the nearest tree.

"Alright, here goes nothing" I mumbled as I placed myself in a big branch before pressing the ready for evolution.

A white screen then appeared in front of me, giving me two options.

"What's the difference between the two of them?" I asked, before sighing as no further information was provided.

"Well, I'm a lesser spider right now. So it would be reasonable if I choose the small spider right? Or I could also try choosing the first option" I said and stared at the screen for a full minute, trying to decide which to choose.

"Ah fuck it" I groaned and picked the small taratect. Instantly after I pressed it, I began to lose my consciousness and passed out soon after.

"Ugh, my head" I groaned as I slowly began to regain consciousness. "What happened?" I asked to no one in particular.

Memories of what happened so far since arrived here flooded on my mind. "Ah right, I went to an evolution" I mumbled and observed my new body.

I was still small, but this time my body was much more rounder. My legs were a few inches taller and they seemed a little bit sharper than the previous ones.

The purple spots still remained on my back, and finally I stared at my hands, well claws. They were a bit sharper than the last which made me smile a bit.

"Cool!" I cheered and looked around, trying to find a goblin to train my new body. "Alright, let's go hunting and beat that boss!" I said and climbed down the tree I was currently at and went to scurry around and try to find my next target.

( meanwhile...)

"Your Highness! A prophecy has arrived" A man wearing a silky white robe rushed inside the throne room. He was sweating a bit, his hair was a bit disheveled indicating that he rushed to get here.

"Bishop Timothy, what does this prophecy say?" The king, who was seated in his throne, asked.

"A creature from the stars arrived

It will bring prosperity, hope, salvation and wealth

It will also bring destruction, despair, famine and war"

"That's what it says" the Bishop said, making the king go in deep thoughts. "It will bring both good and bad things" the thing muttered to himself before he gazed back at the Bishop.

"Tell me, where is it? Find it, we need to capture it before the other kingdom get their hands on it" The king ordered making the Bishop nod, although he was a bit hesitant on doing so.

"But your Highness, wouldn't that be bringing war to us? I'm sure the other kingdom will hear of this sooner or later" The Bishop asked before shutting his mouth when he saw the king glaring at him.

"Yes your Highness" The Bishop nodded and hurriedly went out of the throne room. "A creature from the stars huh" the king mumbled to himself as he stare at the retreating figure of the Bishop.

"Call the shadow hunters" The king ordered his assistant who quickly bowed and went out to do what the king ordered him.

"I will have you in my hands no matter what" The king muttered with a smile.

(Back to the little spider...)

"Woah, nice!" I grinned as I watch the goblin corpse I just killed. This was the third goblin that I found and I tried to kill each one of them without using my webs, although it did take a couple of minutes longer, it was still a success.

"Alright, just a few more kills and I think I'm ready for the boss. It's getting a bit harder to get xp now" I mumbled and went to hunt more goblins.

I ventured much deeper into the floor, the trees were getting a bit denser now and the grass were certainly much taller now but it serves as an advantage to me as I can somewhat hide from the goblins I find, although it's also a disadvantage since goblins can also come at me at any direction.

After a few minutes of venturing, I found another goblin. I slowly creeped up to it, watching as it looked around with it's beady red eyes.

Without any second thought, I lunged at it. "Skreee?!!" The goblin screech in surprise at the sudden ambush as it tried to slash me with it's stone sword.

I narrowly dodge it's stone sword and slashed straight at it's neck with my hands, well claws. I grinned as I saw it's drop to the ground, rolling a few feet away from it's body.

"Phew! Maybe I should go challenge the boss now. I have full hp and mp" I muttered and went to look for the boss room, killing every goblin that I came across to increase my level even just by one bit.

It didn't take long till I found the boss room. It was a swirling grey portal that was in between two big tree.

"Well, here goes nothing" I said as I stepped closer to the portal. I took a deep breath before jumping in the swirling grey portal.
