Chapter 10
So my flashlight's on, and stay up 'till dawn
I got this headache and my life's on the line

I watched as Nightmare BB sat staring into, what I assumed, was my very soul. At first, I was wondering why he was only sitting and staring but then I remembered how the game was to be played. My eyes trailed to the large X that was taped to the middle of the hallway. I just have to catch him right on that X.
I shivered at the thought of being trapped in a dark room with a creep like this one, but I have to do it. And so, I shut off the flashlight, waiting to hear any sign of footsteps.
Hearing Nightmare BB laugh instinctively caused me to switch on my flashlight, only seeing him disappear into one of the opened doors farthest away from me. I felt my knees shaking to keep up at the thought of him moving closer to me as I shut off the flashlight once more.
He laughed once more, taunting me when I whipped my flashlight in panic, trying to find where he had hidden himself next.
"Flash that light all you want, it can't save you now." Nightmare BB cackled.
I suddenly felt the urge of crying, and I didn't want to shut the flashlight off. Tears threatened to fall as my hands shook violently.
"Don't let him get to you (Y/N), remember, you have us!"
He's right, I have my family. I can't waste time either, Little Me is depending on me. I listened closely when I shut the flashlight off.
Footsteps, they were close, but not close enough, and I should know. I knew the louder the footsteps were the closer he was, I just needed to time it all perfectly.
Another laugh, too loud for comfort.
That's it!
The light from my flashlight flashed at Nightmare BB's limp form that sat on the X. My lips curled into a smile, "Ha! I win!" I cheered.
That's it, I get to go to the next trial! Maybe it'll be just as easy as this one, right?
Nightmare BB stood, cackling and snickering. This made me hold Fredbear close, why was he laughing? I won, he lost!
The little beast tackled me to the floor, causing me to drop both Fredbear and the flashlight. I tried to kick him off but he held me down tight. I wanted to scream, but it was just like those dreams where you tried to, but nothing ever comes out.
"You might have won, but you still have a long ways to go, little (girl/boy).~"
That's all I could hear before I blacked out. When I did wake up, I found myself in my room. Upon closer inspection it happened to be my old room, before I was moved to a much bigger one. This room was smaller, with one door, a bed, a dresser with a small lamp, and a closet.
The first thing I did was look for my flashlight, sadly, nowhere to be found. Fredbear was next, but this time, I found him sitting on my old bed, watching me.
"Why am I here?" I questioned, hoping that Fredbear would know. But, all he did was watch me, with his black eyes and white tiny irises watching my every move. "Uncle Fredbear?" I asked. Again, no answer, just watching. Creepy, but we have to get out, we're wasting time!
I went towards the door and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. I tried again, nothing. Panic started to arise when I tried to, once more, open the door.
I felt my lungs tightening, and tears threatening to fall. I didn't know what to do next, but I found my tiny voice shaking when I called out a name I never thought I would call out.
"Luke! Open the door! Please! You know how much I hate being locked in!"
No answer, but I could hear his snickering through the door when I started to pound on it, "Luke! Mommy won't be too happy!" It didn't seem like he cared, I could hear him walking away with his laughter trailing away as well.
Now I was panicking, tears flowing as I sobbed and bang in the door, "Luke! LUKE!"
I backed away and felt my knees give out as I sat down and hugged myself, crying away the fear that came in without a warning.
"What did he do this time?"
I looked over at Fredbear, who only sat on my bed, staring at me as I cried. I didn't answer, I couldn't, as I sobbed I pointed to the door.
"He locked you in your room again."
I nodded, hugging myself once more to let myself cry.
"Don't be scared. I am here with you."
I've heard of that saying before, but from where, who? Of course! Fredbear has always been with me, he knows how to comfort me.
I stood, though the tears kept going, my legs were able to gain their strength back. I found myself walking over to a corner of the room, finding four plushies together. Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy sat near the corner, still as ever. Foxy was missing his head, Luke had tore it off.
"These are my friends." I muttered before walking back to the bed to lay with Fredbear.
"(Y/N)?"
I stopped, someone was calling for me.
I thought I heard it from outside of the room, and so I ran and started to pound on the door again, "Mommy! Daddy! Luke! Let me out!" Now the voice was gone, and I, again, started to panic, "Please! I won't cry again I promise! Please!" When nothing happened, I collapsed, hugging myself on the floor and crying, wishing someone could just open the door.
"(Y/N)? (Y/N)! Wake up!"
I shot up, now finding myself back in the world of darkness. I looked over and saw the three portals. The portal I was in before, was nothing more than a shattered mirror surrounded with those red strings.
"(Y/N)?"
My eyes quickly trailed to Fredbear, who only sat on the floor looking with what I could only tell was worry in his plushlike eyes.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded slowly and held a hand to my head, feeling a sudden aching to it, "Y-yeah, I'm fine now, just a slight..." I trailed off when I noticed Nightmare BB laying limp to my right.
He looked so hollow now, he looked like he was nearly destroyed to a mechanical mess.
"Headache..." I mumbled, I carefully walked over and examined him closely, "What happened to him?"
"Nightmarionne does not take too kindly to loss."
I snorted and shook my head, "It doesn't matter, it wasn't in that trial anyway." I felt the headache growing more painful and I hissed, holding my head in hopes that it would calm down.
I suddenly gasped and brought the hands to my chest, "Oh no..."
"What? What's the matter?"
"When I did Plushtrap's game, two hours were given to me."
I raised my shirt up, my eyes widening as the clock was revealed to me, "I thought it was only a few minutes with Nightmare BB...it's been a full hour!" I cursed under my breath and marched right back over to Fredbear, grabbing him and, thankfully, the flashlight.
"We can't waste anymore time!" I said marching over to the portal that showed the closet doors.
I'm not going to lose, I swear it, Nightmarionne, I'm not going to lose!
