~Anna's POV~

" Oi! Itachi! You dropped this!" I yelled going upstairs to Itachi's room with a piece of paper in my hand. He had dropped it when he quickly escaped from my playful anger.

I arrived in his room and closed the door behind me and sat beside him on his bed where he had his laptop on his lap. He looked at me.

" Dropped what?"

" This." I handed him the piece of paper and tried looking over his shoulder to the laptop screen but he hid it from me. " What are you hiding?"

" Nothing. I just don't want you to know this one password too."

" Is it 'Sasuke-likes-rowry'?" He raised his eyebrow and I smirked.

" How did you know?"

" Hehe. I know everything." I said giving a cool pose.

" I'm changing it."

" Changing it to 'Shisugly'?"

" How did you-"

" Maybe the next one is 'Grizztachi'." He gave me a look then started searching his laptop for any hidden cameras then his head snapped in my direction and he narrowed his eyes.

" You looked through that paper, didn't you?" I smiled sheepishly.

" Couldn't help myself." He sighed and picked the paper from beside him then tore it into pieces.

" Now you wouldn't know what password is next."

" Well, I'm just going to say that you're stupid enough to write the passwords on a page! I mean really?! Its the first time you've given the impression that Uchihas are stupid."

" It wasn't stupid. I didn't know it will fall into your hands."

" Should have considered all the possibilities, Uchiha."

" No good ever comes from fighting you so I'm going to shut up and admit my defeat."

" Yay!" He sighed again and then shut down the laptop. I took this chance to snuggle with him. " So, where are your parents again?"

" Out."

" And Sasuke?"

" With Naruto." The moment the words escaped his mouth I hid my face and starting laughing. " I can't believe you are laughing at that again."

" W-well its too funny!"

" There's a new mental hospital at fifty minutes drive, if you don't stop laughing, I'm afraid I'd have to take you there."

" Meanie!" I punched him lightly in the gut and sat up a little away from him with an annoyed face.

" You know I was only kidding right?"

" Humph!" I smirked at the end but that faded when I remembered something.

" You haven't been sleeping properly."

" Of course. I need my grizzly with me so I can sleep peacefully." I grinned.

" Well isn't somebody sappy today."

" You know what, you're free to spend all your day alone. Bye." I said and started to get up.

" Okaaaaaay then I guess I'd have to finish all the dark chocolate myself and its the best brand too. Hmm." My ears popped and I gave him a look.

" You're really mean and cruel."

" I just know how to keep you around."

" By bribing."

" Well-"

" Hold that thought." I said holding up a finger and brought the earpiece of my phone to my ear and attended the incoming call. " Yo."

" Sis......."

" Max?"

" Sis."

" Max?"

" Sis-"

" Speak up already!"

" Nothing."

" Then don't call if its nothing."

" I just felt like teasing you."

" Tease somebody else."

" Ok." I ended the call and placed my phone aside but at the same moment Itachi's phone started ringing. I raised an eyebrow as he picked up.

" Hello?" I quietly told him to put it at loud speaker and he did and soon my face scrunched in slight annoyance.

" Itachi-nii."

" Max?"

" Sis told me to tease somebody else so I called you-"

" By somebody else I didn't mean Itachi!!" I yelled taking the phone in my hands and ending the call. " He's going to get a beating when I get home."

" Maybe he's also looking for entertainment." Itachi said thoughtfully.

" I'm still giving him a lesson."

" Sometimes I wonder if you really love your brother."

" I killed two people in my rage for him. Isn't that enough proof?"

" Reminds me, you haven't been to the field since then, have you?" I looked away from him and stared out of the window.

" There still might be blood-"

" Rain has washed it off. I have been there."

" Really?"

" Yes. You want to go?"

" No.....not yet." He put me at thinking again. Darn. "Say.. What did you write at the career form?" I was curious again. We just handed our forms in the day before yesterday.

"I haven't turned it in yet."

"What?" I sat in front of him with my back straight.

"Yes. I am still thinking." I sighed.

"You'll be having a hectic time in Juku if you don't start now."

"I know." Then he sighed. "But, I did voice my opinion in a meeting. Some older members were there with my father. Shisui too."

"And?"

"Surprisingly my dad was calm about it and if he hadn't been there, others might have caused a riot." I whistled.

"Conceited bunch of pricks." Itachi chuckled at this. "What?"

"Its always amusing how you so nonchalantly insult the Uchiha." I shrugged.

"They are just humans as well. Why should I be scared or something. We're all going in the same earth when we die. And respect is earned not distributed for free."

"True."

The bell rang and Itachi got to the door quickly. I followed and got there when he opened the door and talked to some people. It was those three older members of the Police Force. Ugh. This isn't gonna be good.

They were the ones for whom I developed the habit of stringing the words of 'conceited bunch of pricks' together.

They were here to 'advice' Itachi about his choices. But that advice had a threatening undertone and that pissed me off.

"Just because he was born an Uchiha, doesn't mean you own his life." I said from behind Itachi. They had already noticed my presence so no point in hiding. "If the Police Force is full of heartless dummies like you, I will make sure Itachi doesn't join you lot."

"You...!" One of them, the guy with long brown hair started but controlled himself. I noticed Itachi flinch. Not in pain but in anger. Shit. This definitely isn't gonna end good.

"You lowlife, you think you have any say in the matters of a prestigious family as of Uchiha?! Shut your mouth-"

Crap.

His mouth was made shut when Itachi punched his face and when the others decided to raise their hands as well, they were beaten too. The fact that they got hit a few times wasn't the thing that was scary, but the part where Itachi just kept hurting them till they were on their hands and knees, that was wrong. Also his eyes. He raised his fist again but I stopped him.

"Woah there! Stop it. That's enough." I said, putting my hands up and stopping Itachi. He was calming down but one of the idiotic men decided to attack again. I sighed when he was kicked in the gut and thrown in a wall. The family crest on the wall where he crashed, cracked. "Leave." I told the three men and they scurried away thankfully.

"I am done with this idiotic family." Itachi mumbled and went inside the house.

"This is why I don't want you to join them." He turned sharply and gave me a look.

"And who told you to snap at them? I had it under control. But no, you love saying things that piss people off!"

I raised my hand and slapped him. Yapp. "You see what you're becoming? That attitude and that anger? That's their doing and this is what I want to save you from."

Itachi rubbed his cheek and sighed. Mumbling a sorry, he went to his room and when I tried following he closed the door in my face and locked it from the inside. Was he angry at me? I rolled my eyes.

How un-resourceful did he think I was?

I got out my wallet and chose the two appropriate metal tools and easily picked the lock and threw the door open. If Supernatural taught me one thing, it was that you should definitely know how to pick a lock.

"Second time I have been given the impression that Uchihas are stupid. Third time would finalise your stupidity as an innate quality."

"Please. Let me be alone for now." Grizzly said from his seat on the floor with his back against the wall. His eyes were still red from before.

"Not happening. I don't know what kind of things you might think or do if I leave you alone so, nup. I ain't budging till I make sure you're okay." I sat beside him and leaned on his side. "Start talking."

All the while I had a good time rubbing in his face the fact that he always called me secretive that I didn't tell my true feelings but right now he himself was doing the same, if not worse in comparison. It took me three hours to extract every bit of anger from him but it was worth it. It brought us closer and I got to know that he wanted to protect me from every danger out there so that was why he was still considering joining the Police Force.

"You know, there are two ways you can protect me." I told Itachi. "Either you can join the Police Force and risk your life every day to protect me or you can do the very same by looking after me without having to risk yourself by taking medicine. Which one do you think will have me at ease?"

"I get your point."

"Good. Now if there is anything else you want to say regarding the Uchiha and their stuck up behaviour, now would be the time. Then we will have dango. My treat." I said getting up and going to put my shoes on. Itachi did the same.

"Sometimes, I want to kill them all." He said and walked past me out of the door.
