~Anna's POV~

" New neighbours? Are you sure?" I asked Max when he came bouncing in the kitchen where I was currently making some ramen.

" Hmm! Hmm!" He nodded grinning.

" Maybe I'll go visit them-"

" Me too!"

" Ok." I turned off the stove and poured the ramen in two bowls, one for the neighbours. " Come to think of it, we should probably go now. I don't want to give those people cold ramen."

" Yay! I'll go put on my shoes." He ran off to do what he said and I wrapped the bowl and went to put my own shoes on.

Come to think of it, it sure took them a lot of time to finally shift. Max told me about the trucks months ago. Oh well.

" Hurry up Max!"

" Hai!" He came running and huffing and we both started our walk next door. I rang the bell two times and when I was going for the third, the door opened and behind it stood a little girl, about Max's age or younger probably. She had brown hair and matching eyes and wore a simple pink frock.

" Ani-chan! Nee-chan! There's somebody suspicious on the door!" She shouted and I had to cover my ears because of her loud voice.

" Somebody suspicious......?" I heard someone say and soon she appeared too. She seemed a lot older, maybe 18 or 19, same looks as the younger one.

" Yo. I know you just shifted so I uh....brought some welcome food." I held up the bowl and the girl smiled and led us in and closed the door then took the bowl from me. " I'm Anna by the way and he's Max."

" Nice to meet you!" Max exclaimed smiling widely.

" I'm Hisako. And my younger sister, Suzuna." She replied in a kind tone. I had already walked in the living room and now looked around.

" This place sure has changed too much." I wondered out loud and that got Hisako's attention.

" You've been here before?"

" Oh believe me, I spent like most of my time here instead of my own house. Tehehehe." I laughed lightly at the memories this house had. " I know every corner of this house!"

" You do?"

"Mmhm! And if you need any help arranging things then you can ask without hesitation. Ok?"

" Umm.....sure." She seemed too kind. " Max, ne?" She looked at Max who nodded. " You're too cute." Max blushed and looked away.

" Men are not cute. They're handsome."

" You're just ten, jeez. Even Eric's not a man." I told Max ruffling his hair.

" Eric?" Hisako asked.

" Yeah. My brother. We are five siblings and I'm the only sister." I faked my misery. " What about you?"

" I have a twin brother."

" Oh? Where is he?"

" Shopping." I nodded.

"Mind if I lend a hand?" I offered noticing the girl was putting away a few things and taking out I don't know, maybe plate or something.

" You don't have too-"

" Its fine. I know its hard when you first move to new places. I had my brothers to help but I guess you're alone." Me and Hisako glanced at Suzuna who was watching TV and sweatdropped.

" I'll accept the offer." She said then when I began to call Max to help, I noticed he was also sitting watching TV.

So being the only two responsible, I helped the girl fix the place I once called my second home. I got to know a lot about her while we were both working like they shifted because her college was closer and also Suzuna was going to attend the school here.

" Hisako! I'm homeeeee!" My ears shot up at the familiar voice. Me and Hisako were currently in the kitchen, setting things there when her brother appeared with a few groceries bag. He stopped in his tracks when he saw me. " My idol is here?! Why didn't you tell me before?!" He or more specifically Kaito asked shaking his twin sister.

" I-I didn't know-"

" How can you not?!" He was shaking her too much. I sighed and pulled the girl away from him.

" Jeez. Its not like I'm going to disappear or something. I live next door-"

" Wah! My idol is my neighbour! Can this get any better?!" Kaito jumped in joy. I sighed and created some distance between us two when he started advancing to hug me.

" Dude stay away." But he didn't listen.

" I'd listen to sis if I were you." I looked at the entrance of the kitchen where Max stood with a grin+glare on his face.

" Hmm? Why? She doesn't seem too harmful to me?" Kaito gave Max a confused look.

" Maybe because you haven't offended her yet."

" Ani-chan, did you get my pocky?" Everybody forgot what they were doing and looked at Suzuna.

" Yeah." He said and handed her the candy and she left. And before the boy could talk again, my phone rang.

" Yo......ya, I'm just visiting the neighbours.........no, just go inside and make yourself comfortable............jeez! Stop being so overprotective, I'll be back soon....... Really? Uchiha? Don't start......mmmhmm. There's some dango for you in the fridge....... I knew this will distract you.......bye.......ok fine I'll hurry.......bye." I ended the call and put my phone back in my pants pocket and noticed everybody was giving me a weird look. " What?"

" Who were you talking too?" Kaito asked. But before I could answer, Max did.

" Itachi-nii. Her 'boyfriend'."

" Oh." His face fell and somehow Max felt happy about that. He was becoming a brute.

" Ya, sorry about that. Bye Hisako, I'm leaving for now but if you need something I live just beside you." I winked at the girl and she nodded and me and Max were off.

I walked in the house and went to the kitchen where I knew grizzly would be stuffing dango and sat on the chair while Max went to his room to do who knows what.

" You actually came sooner than I thought you would." Itachi said when I had regained my breath.

" We had already cleaned up the whole house-"

" We?"

" Me and Hisako, my neighbour now."

" Oh."

" She was so shocked when I told her I knew every nook and corner of the house." I said grinning but then looked at the ceiling thinking about my neighbours.

I unconsciously took the ends of my hair in my hands and examined them, thinking now that they were growing big.

"Don't you dare." Itachi warned me, taking my hair in his hands and pulling them closer to him as if he could keep them.

" Hmmm."

" Is something on your mind?" At this I looked from the ceiling to him and shrugged.

" I've got a new fan."

" What?"

" The neighbour. Hisako's twin brother Kaito. He-"

" So you have a 'fanboy'." He rolled his eyes and sighed.

" Jealous?" I smirked.

" No. Why would I be?"

" Oh I don't know maybe because-"

" Don't finish that and I'm not jealous. Just....."

" Just what?"

" Nothing. Leave it." I smirked at this with a devious look in your eyes.

" By the way I told Kaito that if 'he' was free then I'd love to 'hang out' with 'him'."

" You what?"

" Mmhmm. Since I'm free most of the time because I'm giving you some space with your parents so I guess I'll pass my time with him. Sounds good, ne? And he's a real skateboard fan too."

I was so consumed in making him jealous that I didn't notice when Itachi came closer to me and grabbed my arm and kissed me. I were kind of shocked at first but then quietly kissed him back, knowing I had succeeded into making him care a bit more.

" Sis! If you don't want me eavesdropping then don't do things in the middle of the house!" We both parted and looked at Max. I stuck my tongue out to him and dragged Itachi to my room where we resumed things.
