~Anna's POV~

" EAT!!" I shoved the broccoli down Itachi's throat.

" But I'm full!" He whined back.

" Jeez. You're just like a child. If you don't eat, how are you gonna get better?"

Its been like this for a few days. Once I had found out that Itachi needed to eat more and more in order to get 100% of health back, I was making sure he was.

They had shifted their home with all the help they could get. The whole gang helped, even my brothers did too. Now I was in the new house of Uchihas, making Itachi eat the broccoli salad I made.

" B-but I'm full. Really." He pleaded.

" No you're not. All you ate was ramen, potatoes, corn and now you're eating broccoli. This isn't enough. Certainly not for my satisfaction." I put my hands on my hips.

" Not according to you but eating like this all time will get me fat. You wouldn't want me fat now would you?"

" Sneaky grizzly. I will like however you are." I told him.

" I know."

" Now eat."

" Hai hai." Itachi rolled his eyes and finished his salad. Then after I had given him his medicines, we were both sprawled across the couch.

Itachi had somehow managed to steal me from my brothers and also made arrangements for me stay at his new home. It wasn't that difficult. Both Max and Eric were also spending time with their friends so the house being empty most of the time, it was alright to spend time with Itachi for the vacations.

He had also talked to his parents about me staying with him and his mother passed some naughty remarks but agreed more easily than his father who was just a little protective of me for some reason I didn't know.

I had my room designed like my room in my home so it really helped adjusting. I was allowed to roam and tease like I was a part of their family. I did all the cooking for the night, Itachi cooked for the lunch. Breakfast was usually lunch. Everybody woke up late. Lol.

Vacations weren't that long and before any of us knew it, it was third term. During that time, I stayed some weekdays over Itachi's and a Saturday must.

School was sometimes neglected when Itachi's condition got rough or he started showing some side effects of the meds again, but other than that we both studied together and obtained same grades. Itachi was pretty much happy with whatever grade he got.

As for us both's relationship, it got somewhat out of control over the time together. Like a simple kiss would go to a fight for dominance.

" S-stop." I demanded giggling a little while Itachi placed butterfly kisses all over my neck and kept looking for a soft spot.

" Your voice tells me otherwise." He replied huskily.

He kept sucking and licking, searching desperately for a soft spot and eventually he found one, which immediately had me gasp and then tighten my grip on him.

The couch was a really uncomfortable place for all this but I wasn't complaining. Instead, half of my mind was occupied in squirming beneath Itachi and half was in not making any sort of noises as not to let the Uchiha win.

He sucked at the spot harder and harder and it got difficult for me to contain it.

" I-Itac-chi.." Shit.

One of the moans escaped and I felt Itachi smirk against my skin. He bit the sensitive skin and then licked the spot, probably to stop the bleeding his sharp teeth caused.

The moment Itachi let me go, I got up and traced the mark on my neck.

"What are you? A dog? Dogs bite. Humans don't!" I whined.

" I just left my mark on you."

" Stupid grizzly." I pouted.

" Now now, don't make that face." He said cupping my face and kissing my forehead before sitting up, helping me in the process.

" How am I supposed to hide it?! I will die of embarrassment Konan will give me! And you never stick up for me when it involves Konan! Meanie!!"

" Its better to not be involved when Konan is harassing someone. I clearly don't like leaving you alone as well."

" Liar. You get amused by my reactions-"

" That part is true-"

" Every part of truth is true!" I stuck my tongue out at him.

" Careful or I will bite it off as well." I immediately put my tongue back. I was quiet for a moment, tracing the mark again. It stung but it felt good too.

" Its in the middle of my neck!! Couldn't you find another weak spot?!"

" Am I allowed to?" This statement caused the colour to rise to my face again like the many times before.

" B-baka!!"

" Ahahahahha." Itachi chuckled at my flushed face and I thought of taking revenge.

"Hey, come on. I wanted to show you something. Its in my laptop." I said and started walking to my room upstairs. I opened the door, leaving it open for Itachi.

I crept towards my queen-sized bed 'pretending' all the while to get my laptop, then suddenly grabbed a pillow and threw it at Itachi's face.

" Ha ha! SCORE!! REVENGEEEEEEEEE!!!" The moment, the pillow slid from his face, my grin disappeared. " Uh oh."

" I will get my revenge-revenge when you're least expecting it." Itachi smirked in a manner that I almost got scared but shrugged at him.

"Nah, you won't. Go to sleep, Grizzly and let me sleep too. We have school tomorrow." I spread the blanket over myself. It was Winter still. " Well goodnight. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite."

"Ah. Night." He once kissed my forehead then went out of the room, closing the door and shutting the lights in the process.

I knew he wouldn't take his revenge-revenge. Itachi was too kind for that. So instead, we were having a staring competition today. It wasn't intentional but when he caught me staring at him when I should have been doing my homework, we started competing.

We both stared at each other for a long time and he was wining but thank goodness we were interrupted. I didn't have to face defeat. :'D

" I knew I shouldn't have walked in here!!" Sasuke yelled as he got in the living room and slapped his forehead. My brothers and Sasuke were all under the same roof tonight.

" What's wrong Sasuke-kun?" I asked innocently.

" Don't call me that!! Its like you're high on something whenever you're with niisan."

"I am high on your niisan." I answered him with a wink. He gave me a horrid look and ran off quickly. I laughed when he was out of sight."I love his face every time!"

Itachi shook his head and resumed his studies. He was such a bore sometimes.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, a cousin will be staying here for the weekend." Itachi told me all of a sudden raising his head from his book. "You don't have to leave or anything."

"Wasn't planning on it."

We were given Friday off because somebody died and the teachers and everyone had to go to the funeral. So it was three days of not going to school. Itachi didn't want to let me stay at my own house since I had managed to bruise myself in PE the other day, so he strictly told Eric and Max to stay with him as well.

I dumped my books and bag in the corner of the room, not wanting to study anything, then went to watch TV. Eric was sleeping. Sasuke and Max were playing video games in Sasuke's room.

" What are you watching?" Itachi asked sneaking on me.

" River Monsters. Wow, I didn't know such fishes even existed." I replied without looking away from the screen.

" I'm glad you're not a swimmer or you would've already encountered one of these monsters."

" Me too. So when is this cousin of yours coming?"

"She will be, soon." Ah so its a she.

" Alright. What type of kid is she?"

" Hmm. Let me think......" He paused for a moment which had me divert my gaze to him. " She is a little spoiled, wants attention, heavy sleeper-"

" Sounds like your cousin." I sniggered. Itachi himself was a heavy sleeper most of the times.

" Wait, she HATES competition when it comes to things she likes-"

" She doesn't like you, right?" I asked suspicious.

"Not in the way you think. She's just five."

"Oh."

For Lunch, we were all too lazy to do anything so we ordered pizza.

"Sasugay, Maxxie, pizza time~!" I called them both then sat beside Itachi, handing him and plate with two slices.

"Stop calling me that..." Sasuke arrived in the room, sulking a bit.

"You get pissed so I will call you that."

When I was putting the boxes away after lunch, the bell rang.

"That's probably her." Sasuke said and scurried to the door. Him and Itachi were just talking about their cousin.

" Speak of the devil." I muttered but Itachi caught that. He somehow found out that I was impatient with kids.

" I'm sure you'll like her once you meet her." He said smiling and went to get the door. I rolled my eyes and then they widened when I heard a loud " Ita-ani" noise from the door followed by " Sauce-ani".

Ita-ani? What kind of a dumb name is that? Moreover Sauce-ani??! For Sasuke?! Hahhaha!!

I couldn't contain my laughter and ended up losing it.

" Anna, are you okay?" I quieted down a little at Itachi's concerned voice.

" Y-ya."

" Oh. Well meet Mei." He gestured to a little girl hiding behind him. I smiled a little at the girl for some encouragement.

She came till Itachi's thighs. Bluish-blackish hair cut very neatly and green eyes. She was cute but her face held a somewhat mature look.

" Yo." I greeted.

" Come on, Mei. She isn't going to bite you. Oh right, she's Anna, my girlfriend." The shy look the kid had, immediately disappeared and overcame one of pure jealousy.

" Who knows? I might bite, grizzly." I retorted to him.

" Why do you call Ita-ani grizzly? That's a very stupid name you call him with considering you are lucky enough to have him."

Huh?

The words took a little time to absorb. It was a little hard since her voice was a lot mature too. My mind was telling you:

'Stupid girl! Show your impatience! Hit the kid or say something rude!!'

But my heart told me otherwise:

' She's just a five year old. She doesn't know what she's talking about.'

But like most of the times, I listened to my mind and twisted my face in annoyance.

" Ho, lecturing me? Huh? What about 'sauce-ani'? His name is Sa-su-ke. Call him by his name if you can't pick a decent nickname. And I will call Itachi what I want so butt out kid,this isn't your fight." I said with a smug look.

I heard Sasuke behind me say, " you should act on your own advice." I gave him a look and he held his hands up in defense.

" Who was I kidding? Of course you both won't get along." Itachi sighed with a roll of his eyes.

" Keep the kid in leash. You know how I get when people piss me off." I told Itachi and decided to make my leave but as soon as I turned around, the girl spoke again.

" Running away, eh? And I picked you for a fighter. I should've known only a scaredy cat would cling by Ita-ani's side." My eye twitched and I slowly turned around.

" Anna you were going to try some new recipes, r-right?" Itachi reminded covering the kid's mouth so she won't say more.

" Ya! Thanks for reminding me." My anger vanished when I noticed Itachi trying to hush Mei that certain things were not wise to say to me. I just smiled a little as Itachi bent down to the kid's level and talked with her. He was a kid's person for sure.

Her stay here would be much more amusing since I got some competition.

I laughed evilly to myself and went into the kitchen to prepare and arrange for a new recipe. I hummed to myself and sat on the counter, reading from the book.

" You know she's just five so she doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time." I didn't even lift my eyes.

" She's asleep I guess."

" Ah. Long trip." Itachi replied from his leaning position on the door frame. "So what are you trying today?"

" You'll have to guess when you eat." I said and put the book away.

" I won't let you win today." I muttered as the Uchiha hovered over me. When I had dragged Itachi to my room he had taken things this far.

" I would love to see you try." He replied with an amused smirk which brought one on my face. I kicked his legs from underneath him and hurriedly turned the positions.

" Ha! Didn't I say I won't let you win?" I asked, now over Itachi. He just smiled then all of a sudden I was again on my back. " Meanie."

" Just admit it that you can't win against me." I groaned then an idea came to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck seductively and my legs around his waist.

" You win." I surrendered but had a plan behind it. Once Itachi had his guard down, that's when I played my plot. Immediately kicking lightly at his waist, I had him on his back again and I sat on his legs so he wouldn't move again.

" I would let you win this time but next time.." He didn't finish instead a wide grin dominated his features.

" Ho, like I required your surrender. Men and their fucking pride" I sighed creating a hand stand on his chest for my head so that both our eyes met.

The tiredness, the sickness, I could see it all in his eyes. It pained me that I couldn't do more. My part in his treatment was very insignificant and I wanted to do more. But I am just useless. He always takes such good care of me but I...

"You are sad." I heard the words but my mind was elsewhere.

"Hmm?" This wasn't a valid enough response so I was immediately hugged. Sighing, I decided to let those thoughts go. We stayed like that for a while until...

" Ita-ani?"

That devil of a girl.

Itachi let me go and went to the door. The kid was probably roaming the halls looking for him.

" Oh Mei. Did you sleep well?" Itachi went to lift the little girl in his arms which immediately brought a smile on her face.

" Hmm!"

" Are you hungry?"

" Hmm! Hmm!"

" Go wash your face then we will eat." He told Mei and she ran off upstairs to wash her face.

" Where's Sasuke and Eric and Maxxie?" I asked as I too got up and headed to the kitchen to set the table.

" Now you noticed. Sasuke said something about a group hangout." Itachi replied handing me plates and glasses. They always took Max with them at such events. It worried me but since there was no bad influence, I was OK with that.

" Oh. Does Mei like eel?" I asked.

" Eel? That's what you cooked! I never told you how much I love eel."

"That's good-hey! I asked about Mei."

" I don't know about that. All she ate in her last stay was fast food. Why did you ask? Are you trying to be friends with her?" I turned away from him with a red face.

" N-no! It would be a real pain if she didn't eat it! I went through so much trouble cooking that." Stupid stutter.

" Seems the contrary. Oh well, it would be nice if you both got along."

" Where is Sauce-ani?" I didn't need to turn to look at the girl who appeared from the staircase.

" He's with friends. Come on."

And so the meal was very much uneventful on my side but very hyper and joyous on the other side. Itachi had volunteered to wash the dishes and I let him. Mei was crashing on the couch watching Winx Club. Ugh, how much I hated that cartoon. Naked women.

"Your medicine, grizzly." I held out my hand for Itachi to take his tablets then passed him the glass of water.

"Thank you."

" My job." He just shook his head and I went to clean the glass.

" Nice eel by the way." Itachi remarked when I sat beside him on the couch. Mei was sitting too near the TV.

" Thanks. I heard it was good for lungs."

"It was good on the tongue too." I smiled at his over-complementing. I put my head on his shoulder and almost went to sleep a few times. "I think you should go to bed."

"Good idea. You?" I asked getting up and stretching.

"Few hours maybe. After making sure she's asleep." He gestured to Mei.

"Alright, don't stress yourself too much though. Good night." I felt too tired.

" Ah."

I went to my room and changed. Right when my head hit the pillow, I went to sleep.
