~Anna's POV~

My eyes fluttered open but then closed due to the harsh light that flashed upon them through opened curtains. Once my vision cleared and my mind had started waking up, I got out of bed. I didn't feel sick but I felt sick, if that was possible. I didn't even bother to look at the time and fell back on the bed, not really feeling like getting up just yet.

The second time I woke up, the sky was getting dark, so reluctantly, I left the bed and took a cold shower and instantly after that, I regretted it. I sighed as my head started aching and my nose began running. I was very annoyed with my condition but there was nothing I could do about it. It would go away on its own. There was no need of fretting.

I dressed up in some decent clothes, which in my case were a plain shirt and loose trousers, and started my trek downstairs to where I heard some noises. Maybe the brothers were arguing or something.

As soon as I made my appearance in the living room, both the boys went quiet and just stared at me for a moment than I was bombarded with questions.

"How do you feel?"

"How long were you awake?"

"How's your fever?"

"Did you sleep well?"

"SHUT UP!" I yelled and they quieted down. "So damn noisy in the morning." I sat on the couch between the two brothers and they flashed each other looks I didn't understand.

"For a moment I thought she had lost it. Didn't you Itachi?" Sasuke asked and I turned to the said man who had a smile on his face which confused me a little.

"No. She's become more normal."

"And its not morning. Its evening."

"I know what time it is. Hey!! When the hell was I NOT normal?!?!" I asked Itachi in a high voice which was a really bad idea with my sore throat. "My throat......"

"Take it easy for a few days till your fever is better. Then you can yell all you want."

"Believe him Anna. He really cares. I mean since you fell asleep on him it shows you care too but since he let you sleep it proves that he cares." Sasuke said smirking and Itachi face-palmed himself and I felt some heat coming to my face.

So this is how I was able to sleep so soundly? Sweet.

Sasuke was enjoying my quietness too much so I decided to turn the tables, "so Itachi, why does Kiba call Sasuke, SasuGay?" I asked with a smirk of my own. This time the said gay was flustered.

"Well it was because-"

"Don't you tell her Itachi!" Sasuke covered Itachi's mouth.

" Oh come on, tell me already!!" I whined and somehow Itachi pried Sasuke off him.

" He kissed Naruto, twice." It took some time to register but once it did, I cracked up so bad that Sasuke was dipped in embarrassment and Itachi was enjoying his brother's condition.

" You-you.!!" I couldn't control my laughter but it automatically stopped since my coughs interrupted. "I hate being sick."

"Did you re-bandage your wounds?" Itachi asked once I was calm again but I couldn't shake off the mental image.

"I think..." I glanced lazily at my arms, not really remembering to do the task but they were wrapped in fresh bandages so I guess I did.

"I am surprised you managed that on your own." Itachi taunted me.

"I'd have hit you 'Tachi but I am too lazy." I said in my defense.

"Yes yes. Wait, I will warm some ramen for you." He got up and returned after a few minutes with a BIG bowl of ramen. When I say big, trust me, it was really big.

"RAMEN!!" I exclaimed but my voice betrayed me.

" She's just like Naruto." Sasuke spoke out of nowhere. Guess he had been sulking all the while.

"Of course, you'd know." He sulked again. "Ramen is something you love naturally." You commented and took a bite. "Ahh its sooooo gooodddddd~"

"I am glad."

I quickly gulped down the whole bowl and Sasuke was staring at me like I had horns on my head. I shrugged at his look. After my breakfast, I brought my books to the lounge and tried studying. Itachi was studying in his room and Sasuke was in his own room pretending to study because I could hear some music from his room.

I had no ill feeling towards Itachi for not waking me up for school today. He was right not to. I'd just have worried others and felt like a burden. Plus, Konan sent me a really violent message telling me to skip so well, it was wise not to attend. But now, I was behind on my studies, again.

My head was aching from reading the small letters and my slight fever wasn't helping but that was no excuse to escape from studies. I put the books aside and just leaned on the couch for a breather when the bell rang.

"I will get it!!" I heard Sasuke descending the stairs and running to the door and in the process making my headache worse but it wasn't exactly his fault.

Soon after some footsteps approached the living room and Sasuke was accompanied by Naruto, who when entered my eyesight, I burst into laughter. Sasuke knowing what had happened earlier in the day knew what I was laughing about but Naruto on the other hand was confused.

"Ne, Sasuke. What's she laughing about?" Naruto asked a really red Sasuke.

" N-nothing. Let's go to my room." My laugh intensified at Sasuke's words.

His room. The two of them. With history. No wonder they called him Sasu-GAY!

"Don't do something I wouldn't do, Sasugay!" I teased Sasuke and he immediately escaped to his room with Naruto behind him asking for answers.

I was unable to contain my laughter but I had to calm down or Naruto would think I was mad or something. Well I was mad to begin with. Its his fault not realizing this at first.

All that laughter took my mood away from studying so I quit to my room to watch anime or something. A few hours later, there was a knock on the door. I grunted and slowly got up and walked to the door, opening it to see Naruto.

" Blondie?"

" Yo. The brothers told me to get you for dinner." It didn't make much sense to me.

" They're gonna cook me?"

" Are you.........alright?" Naruto looked at me worriedly.

" Nuh uh. I'm sick. Can't you see my nose running a marathon? I'm very sick dude." I got a tissue and wiped my nose it then faced Naruto again. "You go ahead. I will come shortly. Thanks."

" No problem." He replied smiling and left. I closed the door and washed my face in hopes of feeling slightly better.

As I walked downstairs I heard another voice. I wondered who else was invited but shrugged the thought and continued walking. I entered the kitchen and saw Itachi pouring something in a bowl and he had this PINK apron on!

I couldn't control my laughter and had to take support of the table to prevent myself from falling. Maybe I was too sick. Everything was making me laugh.

" Y-you look so-so ridiculous! Hahahaha!!!" I finally blurted out pointing at Itachi. " Pink? Seriously?! Hhahaha."

" It was white. Sasuke mixed up the laundry." Itachi defended himself.

" No I didn't! You told me you didn't have any other thing in the pile! How was I supposed to know then?!"

" Still. Its your fault." I was still laughing. "Did you hit your head on something?" Sasuke asked me as I took a seat.

" Just the door, why?"

" No reason."

" Sasuke dude, she's sick. Stop picking on her." Naruto took my side.

" Aww Naruto-kun, thank you for defending me."

" So annoying." A dark, hoarse voice said. The voice I had heard before. It was Gaara. The Marcus look-alike.

Dinner was stew and it was blissful. But I was scolded for keep adding chilli on my plate. Not that it had any effect on me or something. When dinner was over, I helped wash the dishes to which Itachi disapproved but he gave in to my whining.

" Now you go get some rest, your fever is still not down." Itachi said once we both sat on the couch. I had found out the boys would be staying the night so they were in Sasuke's room. It was just me and Itachi in the living room.

" What makes you think I would be able to sleep again? I was in luck yesterday."

" That's why I made you something that might help. Extend out your arm." He said and I looked at him confused but did what I was told and he began tying something around it. " This might help you sleep."

I brought my wrist in front of my face and examined the bracelet that was dangling on it. "A charm. It just might be the thing. Thank you." I smiled a little.

"You are welcome."
