~Anna's POV~

I was setting my things in the guest room Itachi showed me. It was a nice room. Blue paint, bed in the left corner and dresser on the right, attached bathroom, a window between bed and the dresser. His room was just by the end of the hall and Sasuke's opposite to Itachi's. He said this was the biggest room and I was more than welcome to have it.

Once I was done putting away the clothes and stuff, I could feel my fever worsening, so I sat on the bed and tried to relax a little but that was interrupted by a fit of cruel coughs.

Oh man. Now my throat's sore too! What's gonna happen next? Headaches?

No sooner had I thought that, my head started aching too. Any attempts at resting and trying to soothe my head and throat were in vain. " Ugh."

I got up from the bed and went into the bathroom and got headache reliever from where I had supposed it would be and swallowed a tablet then went back to sitting on the bed. Soon enough the headache was gone and I was on my way downstairs to the living room where I found a certain duck-butt crashing on the couch.

"Yo Sasuke." I greeted and sat beside him.

"Hey Anna." He replied and went back to his game then his head snapped back towards me. "ANNA?!"

"Yo." He seemed very troubled about the fact that I suddenly appeared.

" How-When-why?!"

" Jeez. Calm down pretty boy. Ask your brother these questions." I brought my legs up and rubbed my temples. The glare from the TV screen had re-initiated the pain.

" Itachi's not at home. Are you sick?" Sasuke asked concerned.

" You think?"

" No time to be sarcastic about it-"

" Its just a little fever. It'll wear off in a day or two. Oh ya, where exactly did Itachi go? He was here just 10 minutes ago."

"It wasn't 10 minutes and he said he needed to get something. Oh well, wanna watch T.V.?" I nodded weakly and he switched the screen to television. He skipped through several channels until he came at Cartoon Network which showed Adventure Time.

" Stop here!!" I yelled and he panicked and dropped the remote since I was quiet for the past fifteen minutes.

" You scared me!"

" Oh you girly boy." I mocked him.

" Never knew you watched this......this..........-"

" Hmm? This...what?" I asked with narrowed eyes because I knew what he was gonna say.

" Uh.......cartoon...........?" Sasuke replied gulping.

" You're saved Sasugay. Max and I usually watch it together."

" Oh. He's a nice kid."

" My brother." I stuck my tongue out at him then focused my attention to the T.V. It turned out to be a marathon of Adventure Time and I had been watching it for past two hours until Itachi arrived.

" How's your fever?" Itachi asked and I jumped, screaming bloody murder, because firstly, it was dark in the room and secondly, all my attention was on the show.

" You scared me!!"

" Serves you right." Sasuke sniggered which got him a smack on the head.

" Keep your voice a little low. Do you know what time is it?" Itachi asked.

" Uh, its Adventure Time!" I exclaimed grinning like a little child.

" She's been watching that for two hours. It felt like torture." Sasuke informed his big brother who just shook his head sighing.

" Come on Anna, you need to eat something then sleep."Itachi said and we three went to the table. I had soup, which was excellent. I was impressed Itachi could cook that well. After the meal, I helped drying the dishes then immediately occupied the couch and turned on the TV. Sasuke went to sleep early and when Itachi told me to go to sleep as well, I plainly refused.

"Not happening Grizzly."

"Why not?" I didn't want to tell him that I'd rather exhaust myself from lack of sleep than have nightmares scar me, so I lied.

"I don't feel sleepy." He sighed.

"Alright. Take your medicine then. I have some work to do so you better be ready to sleep by the time I am done." I just shrugged and he left sighing.

I didn't know whether it was the medicines acting or the boring shows I was watching or the fact I was tired but slowly my eyes started closing till I couldn't keep them open anymore. I didn't want to sleep but I didn't have any energy to argue with myself either. Oh well. We'll see what happens.

~Itachi's POV~

I put away my books and neatly piled everything and set my bag for school tomorrow. There was still some time left before my usual time to bed so I went through the messages on my phone. Most of them meant nothing to me but one was from Konan. I opened it and it read:

Tell Anna to skip tomorrow please. I already messaged and called her but she isn't picking up. It isn't like her to sleep this early lol.

I replied an affirmative answer and put away my phone and set the alarm then went out of the room to compel Anna to sleep. I continuously thought what threat I can make that she would oblige but turned out that all of that was unnecessary because the girl was asleep already, on the couch.

Jeez this girl. Didn't anybody ever tell her that you can catch a cold if you sleep like this?

I sighed and shook her a little to wake her up but it didn't work. There was no way that I would leave her like that so I swiftly picked her up in my arms. She budged a little but didn't wake up completely. I took her to her room. Meanwhile her arms had wrapped themselves around my neck, maybe instinctively, and that made putting her to bed difficult.

"Don't leave..."

What?

She was subconsciously speaking in her sleep and at that moment I remembered what she had told me some time back.

Seems like your presence help me sleep. Well whatevez, I can't dollify you or something so we will leave it at that.

I didn't know what to do but at the same time so many things were running through my head. Things that can help her. Things that might be able to save her. So I stayed with her until I fell asleep there as well, with Ann in my lap and her head on my neck, my head on her head.

"ITACHI?!?!" I woke up with a start. "Oi Itachi!" I tried making sense of what was happening and soon it all became clear when I saw Sasuke's face. "You have school." He whispered.

"Alright. Yeah, I'm up." I told him and got out of bed, putting Anna's head on the pillow and pulling the covers over her. I got out of the room after Sasuke and closed the door.

When we were both downstairs in the kitchen. Sasuke began smirking with a really devious look on his face. " I'm so gonna embarrass you when she wakes up." I sighed.

"Yes, you can try that. Also, thanks for waking me up." I said, preparing some toast.

"Aren't you going to wake her up?"

"No. She needs to rest before having a full scale mess on her hands."

"Awwww Itachi you care so much~" Sasuke sang and exited the house. I shook my head and followed him, not replying so as to give him a chance to be on my case forever.

All the time at school, I was worried about Anna.

So umm, Sorry for the extremely late update. What actually happened was that I usually write on my Blackberry but when my parents angered me a bit, I just threw it in a wall and broke it so I had to wait to get a new phone and also to finish Supernatural. Now I am done with all the side stuff so let's hope I can update with lesser intervals.
