~Anna's POV~

I didn't mean to be rude but the possibility of Itachi being at my home to tell my brothers about today was pissing me off, true or not. If he had told them, they would get suspicious of me which would be very unfortunate for me.

By this time, Tim was home so I went inside but sighed when the first question he asked was about my visit.

"How did it go?" He asked.

"She said everything is fine and I can stop coming for check-ups." I replied boredly.

"Thank goodness."

"See ya later. I'm gonna go take a nap." I quickly made my escape before any more questions were asked and went into my room. Maybe a bit too quick.

I closed the door behind me, locking it, and walked to the dressed. I took out the empty injections and hid them under my clothing. Next I removed the floor panel from inside of the closet and put the diamorphine there. Satisfied with my work, I got changed.

I can't deal with this pain anymore.

The thing is, whenever I got angry about missing my mum's death anniversary, it started disturbing the 'normal' functions of my heart and although there is no threat of an attack, the pain is unbearable. So I had to do what I did. All the day I was suffering but never told anyone about it. I just wish I won't have to use this method.

I threw my day clothes in the laundry bucket and thought about going into the kitchen, since I lied about sleeping. I was hungry. But that was a bad idea because there my brothers decided to bomb me with questions on how I was coping with the coming event and the fact that they didn't even try to understand my pain made me so angry that I quit their presence instantly and went to my room, again.

The moment I grabbed the handle of my room door, a wave of pain washed over me and I clutched my head and with heavy steps went to gather supplies.

The worst thing about this pain was that it started from my chest and took its time to spread throughout the body. Head first, then arms, then stomach and lastly the legs.

My breathing became laboured as I got out some morphine and went towards the dresser to take out a syringe.

You didn't know how much of morphine I took but as soon as the liquid entered my body, I felt relieved but then my head started spinning. I took support on the dresser but knocked something down since I couldn't focus my eyes.

The noise must have alerted my brothers because the syringe was still in my arm when the door opened and in came a very furious Tim.

"Anna- what did you do?!?!" Were the last words I heard before slipping into unconsciousness.

~Timothy's POV~

When Anna left so suddenly to sleep, I filled Eric in on what Itachi told us. I was almost finish with my talk when Anna arrived again saying she couldn't sleep. The topic of our mother's coming anniversary was a sensitive one for her, we knew, so I just asked her how she felt about it but she got extremely furious and left. Eric suggested that we look out for her relapse, when I heard something fall on the floor above. Anna's room.

"I will go check it out." I told him. He nodded and I got upstairs.

Everything looked to be in place. I went to Anna's room and knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again. Still no answer.

"Anna, I'm coming in!" I called and opened the door.

"Anna- what did you do?!?!" I exclaimed as I saw my sister going to her old methods. I was angry but I knew it must have been hard for her to do this considering she made a promise to never stoop this low again.

I ran to her and caught her as she lost consciousness. I took out the needle and threw the syringe away.

"Tim- what the hell happened?!?! What did she do this time?!" Eric yelled coming in the room. I just nodded in the general direction I threw the injection. "Shit."

I sighed and picked up my sister. Laying her down in her bed, I pulled the covers over her and left the room. She won't be waking up anytime soon I suppose.

Eric and I decided to call Itachi to tell him everything about this situation. Anna's best friend Konan already knew but having two people to look after her at school would be best. At least Anna won't be alone in the girls' washrooms.

It wasn't much later that Itachi arrived. Last time Max was five so he was excluded but this time, we needed more on the case.

"You came faster than I thought." I said, opening the door.

"It sounded serious, so I hurried." Itachi replied.

"Come in, sit down. Its about Anna."

"What did she do now?" He asked and we all took our seats.

"How much did she inject?" Eric asked me.

"I don't know. By the time I got there, it was already in her system."

"She injected what?" Itachi asked.

"Morphine. Its been her only pain reliever. She would have returned to cutting if it wasn't for Marcus." Itachi seem shocked.

"I'm...disappointed.."

"It isn't her fault actually. She can't bear with the pain anymore."

"What happened?"

"When she was thirteen, our mom died." I began.
