~Anna's POV~

When I got home, I immediately went to my room. Laying down on the bed and I tried letting go of my anger and sighed. It wasn't working. I got up from my bed and went into the kitchen to eat something. Might help but didn't.

Watching TV, I waited for Eric to return from school and when he did, I gave him some time to relax then popped in his room.

"Eric, you're coming with me to Emma for the check-up, I missed last week." I ordered.

"Alright. Get dressed, then we will go." He said and I went into my room to change into an orange half sleeve t-shirt and blue pants. Slipping on my flat shoes I went to the front door where I waited a bit for my brother before we left for the hospital.

The journey didn't take much long but we had to wait a long long time for Emma. She was in the operation theatre then, even though it was the time for my appointment.

"Man, how long is she gonna take?" I whined.

"She will be here. Just wait a little while longer."

"I have been waiting!" Oops. Didn't wanna snap.

Eric just sighed and crossed his arms. Minutes later Emma came out of the operation room.

"Finally!" I said, relieved. Then she spotted us as I got up from my chair.

"Oh I am so sorry. I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long." Emma apologized.

"Nah. Its okay." I just shrugged and Eric rolled his eyes at my reactions.

"Come on. I will start the check-up right away." She said as she led me in a room while Eric waited outside.

~Itachi's POV~

Arriving from school and watching Anna leave the house, I quickly changed and went to her house and knocked on the door.

"Itachi-nii?" Max asked as he opened the door.

"Hey. Is Timothy home?"

"Yeah. Big bro is home. Come in. I will go fetch him." He said letting me in.

"Thank you." I went into the living room and waited for the elder to come.

"Itachi? What brings you here? Anna isn't home." Tim said smirking.

"Actually I'm glad she isn't. There's something you need to know." I replied in a serious tone.

Both the brothers passed each other a look then sat opposite to me as I told them what happened in school today.

~Anna's POV~

"Everything seems to be alright. Your muscles are okay. Your blood pressure is okay. You seem okay." Emma said smiling once she finished the check-up.

"Alright."

"You can stop coming for the check-ups and you are now allowed to work out your legs." She said.

"Thanks."

"Wait here." Emma said as she got up and went outside the room.

"Sure." I glanced here and there and spotted her doctor's identity card. I picked it up, made sure it was hers and pocketed it.

Emma returned after a few minutes and handed me a card with her number on it.

"Uh, thanks. But I already have one." I said looking at the card.

"Oh no dear. They modified it a little." She said happily.

"Alright." I waved her a goodbye.

Avoiding the waiting area where Eric was, I took the other way to the back of the hospital where they had a pharmacy store.

Once again, I glanced here and there to see if anyone I knew was in the premises. They weren't. I walked up to the shop and got the guy's attention.

"Doctor Emma requires three bottles of diamorphine. Here." I showed him her doctor's card and he nodded then after some time got me palm-sized glass bottles of a clear liquid.

I stuffed the bottles in my pants pocket and went in the hospital. On my way there I stealthily took some syringes and went to the tuck shop to buy a pack of chips so Eric won't get suspicious.

"Where were you? I saw Emma walk out moments earlier." Eric asked as me stepped in the waiting area.

"I was hungry. Want some?" I offered him some chips but he shook his head.

"Come on. Let's go." He said and started walking.

"Wait. There's something I must do before we go." I told him and ran off to find Emma. I spotted her walking to the operation room.

"Doc Emma!" I called her and she turned around.

"Oh, Anna? What is it?" She asked smiling.

"You dropped your card in the cafeteria. Here." I answered, handing her back the card.

"Oh, thank you so much. I was going go mad looking for it." She replied happily. I felt a pang of guilt and quickly turned my face away.

"No problem. See you later." I said and went to Eric.

"Can we go now? I hate hospitals."

"Runs in the blood." And we were both off.

~Itachi's POV~

"I see. She's gotten more violent." Timothy thought out loud.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"This has happened before Itachi. Last time she had Marcus to pull her from that abyss but now- I didn't even think this will happen again."

"Coincidence. Anna told me earlier about how scared she is that something bad might happen again. She said last time, 'consequences were huge'. What does she mean by that?"

I wanted as much info as I could get. I wanted to help Anna. She was scared, alone, sad and I had to do something to help her.

"I will tell you some other time. Anna's home. You might want to make your leave. Don't want her to get all curious." Tim said.

"Alright."

"Look out for her. Keep and extra keen eye on her at school and we will deal with her at home. Just make sure she doesn't do anything suicidal."

What? Suicidal? Did I hear that correct?

"You can count on me." He smiled. I got up and started to leave.

"And Itachi?" I turned around.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you." You nodded and opened the door.

Stepping outside I saw Anna and Eric were both walking in when I walked out.

"What were you doing here Uchiha?" Anna asked with a frown.

Bad mood still.

"Nothing." I wasn't going to tell her that I was told to spy on her.

"Then leave already."

Talk about mean.

"Bye then."

"Toodles."

I sighed and went to my home. She needed desperate help.
