"Aw come on just this once please!?" I begged making my eyes grow bigger. Yeah this wasn't the first time I begged for freedom. Freedom to be close to the ocean. But what does the Jack Morrison have to say about that?

"You know its's dangerous to be in the ocean." He would say. That's all I ever get.

Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am (Y/N) (L/N), I am also 16 years old. I've been living in the Watchpoint: Gibraltar since I was born.

Everyone here has been like a family to me and they're maybe a little too strict for my liking.

For years have I yearned to be close to the ocean, I don't know why, I can't really explain it. The agents have always told me not to go too close to the ocean. Especially Jack, I never really call him Soldier 76, or other agents by their hero name, unless I'm really comfortable with it, and if they don't mind either.

Beside the point, it's almost like they forbade me to even look at the ocean. Never gave me a good reason why though.

"But Jack." I whined. "No buts, you know better." Jack said. I pouted and crossed my arms, "No! I don't know, just like I don't know why anyone wouldn't let me go to the ocean!" I said and walked away.

Arguments like these usually end with me stomping away and not getting answers.

I walked down the hallway with annoyance. Suddenly out of nowhere I was grabbed and lifted off the ground.

"Well if it isn't the great (Y/N)!" Said a voice. I was turned around while being held to see Reinhardt. Reinhardt raised an eyebrow with a smile, "Jack not letting you go? Again?" He asked. I only held my pout and arms crossed.

"Oh don't give me that, Jack just really cares about you." He said setting me down. "But he won't even tell me why! It's not like the ocean is gonna grab me and kidnap me! I can't even walk on the beach without him freaking out on me!" I said throwing my hands up.

"Oh someone seems a little more annoyed than usual." Said another voice.

I turned and saw Ana smiling at me as she walked up to me. I just sighed deeply and loudly, "When you care for someone wouldn't you let them at least know why?" I asked. "Of course, I did that with Fareeha when she was a little younger age than you." Ana said.

I only huffed, "And look where that got her." I said with a frown. Ana rolled her eyes playfully, "Oh you'll learn once you get older." Ana said. I looked down sadly, "It probably doesn't matter, no matter how old I get, it just seems like no one is willing to let me have a little more freedom, what's the point of me doing anything here anyway?" I asked. I felt Reinhardt's huge hand on my shoulder and I looked up to him.

"Don't yourself low (Y/N), Jack can't keep the reason forever." Reinhardt said. I raised an eyebrow, "But how come you guys don't tell me?" I asked. Reinhardt and Ana looked at each other.

"We're waiting for an opportunity, a discovery." Ana said looking back to me. I sighed, "And there's no point in me asking what it is?" I asked. "Well not exactly but I can assure that-"

"Reinhardt, please report to the Training Room." The sound of Athena interrupting Reinhardt came through the overhead. Reinhardt gave a low groan, "But I was just there." He said. Ana chuckled and patted his arm, "Probably only Hana and Lena wanting you to carry them around." She said. Reinhardt rolled his eyes before he smiled to me, "I'll see you later, right now I need to see what the commotion is." He said walking away.

I watched him walk away before again, a hand was placed on my shoulder. I looked at Ana. Ana held a smile on her face, "Come with me, let's have a walk." She said. I sighed but smiled, "Sure, that sounds nice right now." I said. Ana and I began to walk down the hallway.

I looked at Ana, "Ana, what was Mom really like? Please don't say me." I said. Ana chuckled, "Ah your mother, she was adventurous, she had some leadership for what she enjoyed, always had the last laugh when it came to arguments." Ana said. Ana gave a laugh, "Always drove Jack crazy!" She said. I couldn't help but laugh as well, "Was she that bad?" I asked. "No, just really stubborn." Ana said. Ana shook her head while calming herself down, "But I will have to say...." She began.

I groaned loudly and deeply, "That I act just like her." I said.

Ana nodded, "Even have some of her looks..." She said. With my (H/L) (H/C) hair, (E/C), and even the skin color, it mostly came from my mom's side. The only thing that seemed different from what they said, my (H/T) came from my dad.

"But I do say that you have some differences, you're more curious and impatient, and you're much of a little builder." Ana said. "I've only made a hand glider, and that's to get closer to the ocean." I said.

"Yes, though I don't expect you to make Turrets." Ana said. I shook my head, "Not on my personal list." I said.

I looked ahead before looking back to Ana, "What was my dad like?" I asked. Ana shook her head, "I'm afraid I don't know as much, your father died in the war while your mother was still pregnant with you, but I do recall how your mother described him. Supposedly, (Y/F/N) was a brave man, he was protective, and he was gentle in every way." Ana said. I sadly looked down.

"Wish I knew them myself." I said.

"There's always something we wish happen, sometime it doesn't go as planned, but you have to appreciate them for bringing you this far." Ana said smiling at me. I couldn't help but give a small smile back, "I guess you're right, my memories are hazy, but..." I reached a hand up to where my heart would be, "It's almost like I can recall her voice." I said softly.

"You know she has a nickname for you, something the other members call you in honor of her sometimes." Ana said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Little Bubbles? But I thought it was a joke?" I asked. Ana shook her head, "They'd never say it as a joke." Ana said. My mouth made an O shape.

"(Y/N) (L/N)? You have been called to the head office." Athena said. I sighed deeply.

"What does Jack want now?"
