His visions getting blurry, adaptation alone wasn't enough to sustain his injuries, he was bleeding faster than his body could regenerate, not to mention his Honkai Beast wasn't exactly a regenerative type.

He looked up, an entity of chaos and destruction towering over him. Right now, he has nothing in his mind but to kill this Higher Existence, to protect the countless bubble worlds that lie beyond...

"I will kill you..."

He has no fear standing up against it, even though his presence is nothing compared to one of these existences.

"You damn pig!!!" - He raised his fist, this time attempting to risk his life.

"Hi, it's ya boy here, John Y/n, you might be wondering how I ended up in this situation, well, it is complicated, but I will break it down for ya..."

Life was going on well for John Y/n ever since he found himself in the Sea of Quanta, more worlds were taken into his care, and then given over to Sa, he still doesn't know what Sa actually does to these worlds, only assuming that she relocated them somewhere safe from the corrosion.

Meanwhile... In another world as usual...

"Argh!" - The proclaimed Demon Lord fell on her back, she had been defeated by a supposed nobody. "You... Have come to my lands... Crushed my armies, killed my greatest warriors and now... Bested me... How come I have never detected someone like you before... Such a strong core... I want to know what stage you're at... I was supposed to be the wielder of the highest of all... Please... Before I die..."

The demonkind, actually just humans exposed to the power of the Sea through fissures, have ruled this world for 500 years, their hearts transformed into some kind of core that reacted strongly to the environment around them, allowing them to cast magic and such to their will.

These people have no idea what that power is, and such a constant use of it had put this world on the verge of destruction, on a scale that John himself had never seen before, so he had no choice but to kill all those who have been transformed.

"Even the Kingdom's royal knights... Even that damn Hero who is destined to kill me... You killed them all! I thought we could be... Friends..." - She reached out. "Or even something more special..."

"..."

He stared at her, uncaring, yet a hint of disbelief in his eyes, she knew if she chose the right words, she could survive, and reach another height.

"Please... I will not make you regret..."

"Sorry girl, my heart is taken."

John showed mercy to her, as well as putting an end to this world's fall, for now, until Sa comes to do her thing. He will not be hailed as a hero, for he has killed too many innocent people who knew nothing, as well as killed their symbol of hope and victory, but he doesn't care.

"This is all for their protection, you did well, Y/n..." - You assured yourself. Then walked off to explore the world more. Seeking for fissures to be sealed.

He sighed then looked up at the sky.

"Forget it, I want to cuddle her so badly... No, no , I must focus..."

He walked past a farm, seeing several pigs...

"..."

He immediately noticed a weird one among the bunch, a winged pig? He immediately knew what to do, he hopped over the fence and approached it, and obviously, the pig itself has a core. It is surprisingly high, compared to the average human in this world, it could make a good warrior if it was a human, but sadly, he stood before John.

The pig looked up at John, while others ran away, it stayed, mistaking John for its owner who had come to feed him. John could see the pig's eyes sparkling with joy.

"I'm sorry little one." - John raised his fist, it would end swiftly, no pain, no suffering, just end it quickly...

The pig squealed, was it pleading? Or was it just happy, as it was still mistaking you for the normal farmer who usually comes out with a bucket of food to feed him? The pig leans in closer, sniffing your legs.

"No... Don't make this more difficult for me, small guy." - John said, his resolve crumbling, his fist shaking, he isn't sure if he can do it anymore, this is too much for him, he didn't want this in the first place.

He had little problems killing these Quantum Shadows and Honkai Beasts, because he didn't consider them humans, but could the same be applied to this little pig here?

It is an abomination, tainted by the Sea, and must be put down to preserve this world's stabilization. No exception could be allowed...

"Move... Damn it..." - John's fist won't obey him, he remained immovable as his eyes locked onto that pig. "Damn it..."

He sighed and shaken in defeat as he lowered his fist, bent down to pat that pig.

"Well... Just... Maybe, I hope I will be right, but maybe you won't become a troublemaker." - John patted the pig, as he took out an apple to feed it, he then stood up and left the farm...

He wonders if he is walking on the right path, but what is it all for?

It is all for Sa, he loves her truly, and is willing to do everything for her. Even if it means drenching his hands in cold blood...

As he walked away, he heard a thunderstruck behind him, and before he could react, all he saw was black, before his body felt intense pain as if he was crushed completely, the Adaptation kicked in just in time, allowing you to not feel hurt and letting your injuries heal.

Panic was the first thing in your mind, then confusion, and then caution, has anyone ambushed you? Impossible, a power of this degree... Only someone like Sa can do it to you, at least you are aware of it.

But right now, he needed answers.

When his vision was finally back and he could see once more, he looked around and gasped to see that he was floating in the Sea of Quanta, impossible. He was in that bubble world just now, there could be no such thing as suddenly getting ejected out of the world...

He looked around, trying to find that world, and was horrified.

He was reminded of that day.

On Mars, when he saw that entity destroying his homeworld...

Now he is witnessing it again, a giant shadow with two glowing eyes, a round and colossal body along with a pair of wings, symbolizing an Angel of Death behind it... Destroying the bubble world, more like consuming it.

"What the fuck...?"

He immediately got a clearer view from another distance, and recognized the pig from earlier... Somehow it has become so big and eaten an entire world... Worse still, its own world.

"Oh come on!"

I present to you, life's biggest bitch :

Winged Pig

— He who will devour the Tree and drink the Sea

"How is that even possible? And shit..."

He noticed the pig was looking at several other objects lying around the pig, and it ate those effortlessly. Then it noticed a bubble world.

"Wait... No! Nuh uh! Bad pig!"

You launched yourself up to the pig, raising a fist with more power than before, attempting to force it to stay down.

You punched it, but surprisingly, it did nothing to the pig, worst still, he didn't even feel the impact of his punch.

"Huh?"

The pig noticed you, it got angry and bumped its body onto you, causing you to be knocked away, far away from it, until you crashed onto some sofa drifting around...

"Ow ow..." - You spat out some blood, the injury wasn't serious, but it sure pissed you off as the thought of killing it is now stronger. "Not bad for a pig..."

He stood up, and then launched himself again, he will unleash more of his power this ti-

You got launched back again, this time he opened his eyes wide in disbelief, ain't no way this pig just low diff you.

"Alright... Congratulations, you just pissed me off, now come to think of it, I haven't cooked any pork before yet right? Just perfect that we got a high quality one here that is still raw."

You fought the pig with all of your might, wanting to kill it this time, but the battle was one-sided, the pig was not even aware that it caused injuries to you.

You were sent back by its attacks, which could have killed you easily if you hadn't adapted to worse things before, and bounced back at him every time, attempting to kill him, but your attacks were just like flies, landing without being able to do anything serious to the pig.

You were surprised when you saw the pig is already standing in front of a bubble world, you desperately tried to stop it now.

"No! Stop it! Good piggy!! No!!!" - You punched the pig rapidly, but it did not stop, it lowered his head down, opening its mouth wide.

"No! No! Good boy! Good boy!!! No!!!" - You pleaded.

But you could not stop it, but to watch in horror, as another world now inside his mouth, being munched as billions of lives were destroyed...

You were devastated, it did more damage to you that way than how much it tossed you around...

"You bastard..."

You raised your fist, now using that power from Sa to channel the strength for the upcoming punch.

"There was someone who looked like Ben Dover there... He was my best bro there!"

You cried as you punched the pig, this time releasing an impact that made the pig squealed in surprise.

"I will kill you!!!"

Meanwhile, in some other random world.

That one dude looked like Ben Dover that John mentioned just now : *sneezed* Did someone just mention me somewhere?

Back to you, now fighting the pig furiously, not allowing to reach any bubble worlds ever again, but the power Sa gave you was never for fighting purposes, and so, after several punches and kicks, you were exhausted of her power, and as such, the pig simply knocked you down, until you landed on some rock...

Injuries all over you, as you bled more than you can heal...

Knowing that right now, you aren't enough to kill it... That is why you must risk your life to do it, only then will these worlds be safe...

"If this is a way to atone for the souls I killed... Then let it be."

You looked upto the pig in the eyes.
