Niall's P.O.V.

I took my seat on top of the leather cushion, which was quite comfy. The boys wanted this "date" to be special. By special they mean over the top. Harry called in a favor and ordered a limo for 8 people. It was the only one available on such short notice. I took my seat by the door. The boys were super excited. Harry wore a suit as always. He liked making a good first impression as did Liam, Louis, and Zayn. Me on the other hand had a lousy and horrible first impression on her. Why is me that is always in these situations? Harry is always great with girls. Usually he would stay the night with his date. He worked fast, but I  like getting to know someone before I even consider staying the night. I hope she's like that too. Zayn took his seat beside Liam who was wearing Zayn's hat. He looked good in hats, both of them did. Liam should wear them more often. Zayn took his hat back, putting it on his head watching his hair. Louis took seat beside Harry giving me an open seat for when she get here. It was 6:58 and we were late because the boys wanted to meet her. Why do I make these promises and then regret them? I decided to call Ruby to tell her that I would be there around 7:30. I dialed her number.

"Hello?" She questioned.

It was adorable how she said hello in question.

"Ruby, hi. . . " I uttered hearing giggles from Liam and Zayn.

"Hi Niall. Are you OK, you sound funny? If you're busy we can do this another time." She said thinking I was gonna cancel on her.

I chuckled, "No. I'm not canceling, I'm calling because I'm going to be a little late. . .I sorta had some complications. "

"Oh, OK. That's cool. Um, I'm sorta not ready yet, so thirty minutes would be great. Thanks, your a lifesaver!" She said, her tone being really happy.

I blushed when she called me a life saver. It caught Harry's attention. Great, now all the boys are watching me talk to Ruby. Louis whispered, "Speaker." I nodded no as I listened to her talk. Liam nodded. I continued nodding no, while the guys did yes.

"Niall? Hello?" She asked.

I replied embarrassed, "Sorry, Ruby. I was distracted by something."

Suddenly Louis took my phone, putting her on speaker.

"Oh, it's ok. It happens all the time. I do it all the time and my brothers hate it when I do that. Its funny, how we have that in common. I never thought I'd have something in common with you. Not that it's bad it's just I never thought that was possible. . .you know I'm gonna stop rambling because I'm making this worst." She embarrassedly stopped talking.

Louis responded, "Its alright love, your fine."

She squealed, "Wait, your Louis Tomlinson! Hi! Sorry, excuse my rambling."

Louis chuckled as I snatched my phone back.

"Sorry Ruby. Anyways, I'm on way. Don't worry, I'd never cancel on you." I made that sound weird.

She chuckled, "I didn't mean it in that way. . .sorry Niall, if you haven't noticed I'm a klutz."

I laughed, "Your a klutz that loves Starbucks."

She giggled, making me melt.

"And you are a leprechaun who spill coffee everywhere he goes. Even if there are squealing fangirls chasing you around London. Way to get a work out." She teased.

I laughed, "Very funny. See you soon Ruby. Don't forget to text me your address."

She replied, "Yeah I will. See ya in 30 minutes Niall, bye. Say hi to all the guys and Paul!"

I replied, "Bye and I will."

As soon as I hung up, I began scolding the boys.

"What was that about? You could've ruined the call." I said slightly pissed.

Harry smirked, "Niall, calm down. She sounds lovely. Now let's get going."

Suddenly I received the text with her address. I smiled as she sent a coffee emoji and and a four leaf clover beside it. I read the text, "Your New contact name." I laughed as I received another text, "Jk. See ya soon."

I smiled as Liam elbowed Zayn and Louis giggled.

"Did you see Niall blush, when she said life saver? " He smirked pretending that I wasn't listening to him.

I crossed my arms, "It's not funny."

Liam chuckled, "For you. For us it's hilarious."

I rolled my eyes at them. We had just left through the back of the hotel and like always Paul was the driver. I couldn't wait to see her again. She was great and sh didn't consider me as the almighty Niall Horan of One Direction, just as Niall the guy who spilled coffee all over the shirt!?!?! What am I doing? She isn't going to be interested in me? Why am I doing this? Why? Ugh, so many thoughts and yet I have little time to bring myself under control. I told her that I would never cancel on her and I keep my word. No dirty thoughts!!!! Harry snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Niall? Earth to Niall, hello." Harry said snapping his fingers.

I looked at him, while the guys smirked, "What?"

Liam chuckled, "Don't be nervous. Be yourself. Weren't you going to buy roses for her?"

I mentally face palmed. I'm trying to make this the best get together ever, yet I'm forgetting everything! What wrong with me!! We just met!

Louis suggested, "There is a flower shop a couple of blocks down. Get the roses there. "

I nodded. Paul headed towards the flower shop. I walked out and ran into the store. I picked the best bouquet of roses they had. They tied the flowers up with a silky smooth red ribbon. I paid the elderly cashier and ran back into the limo, taking my seat where I had previously been. The roses were a bit expensive, but anything for her. I smelled them and sighed, they were perfect!

Harry smirked as I gave Paul the address she had texted me. I closed the door and buckled myself up, setting the flowers down gingerly on the empty seat beside me. It was 7:15. So we had time. Luckily the trip to her apartment was about 12 minutes, so timing was perfect! I held the flowers nervously, as the limo went to a stop. Paul smiled at me and give me a thumbs up. I felt like I was sweating and still haven't seen her!!!! This get together is starting off "great". Harry smiled as Liam, Louis, and Zayn sent me wiggling eyebrows. I rolled my eyes.

" Breathe Niall, it's just a girl. Be yourself. " Harry said.

"Don't mess up!" Zayn said.

Liam elbowed him, "Be nice! He nervous! You got this Niall!"

Louis smirked, "You got this mate!"

It gave me somewhat of my confidence back. I took a deep breath and walked out, going towards the door. I knocked on the door. Breathing heavily. I can do this!!! You can do this Niall!!! She opened the door and smiled. She was beautiful!!! I've never seem a girl quite like her, even though I've met many. My mouth stars opened. Her beauty stunned me. She smiled and then blushed.

"You might wanna close your mouth, you don't want to catch flies." She said.

"I got these for you." I said, partially melting.

She took the roses and smelled them.

"Thank you, but you shouldn't have. They smell wonderful. How did you know roses were my favorite? " She asked.

I blushed as she kissed my cheek. She giggled. I felt my cheeks heat up, red creeping up on them.

I shuttered, "Ready to go?"

She replied, "Hold on! Let me get my phone and my glasses. I sorta dropped my hazel contact down the sink."

Her make up complimented her perfectly. I didn't know she wore glasses. She would look pretty anyway! It was then that I noticed her dress. It was modest and red, her hair was in a braided bun. The dress suited her. Even though it was modest, she looked gorgeous. Her make up was natural and her lips were shiny, due to the lip gloss she wore. She wore black heels with bows in front, matching the red bow on her dress. She put on her black glasses. I was right, she looked even hotter with them than without them. They were the geeky glasses. It evened her face out. She got her phone and then we were out the door. She took a small black bag matching her glasses and shoes.

She locked the door, here we go. . .

Ruby's P.O.V.

I heard a knock on the door. I think it's Niall. I was right, I answered the door. I didn't have my glasses on, but I wasn't that blind! Niall greeted me and I just smiled. Niall Horan was going to take me out to dinner!!!!! Awesome!!!! I saw Niall holding something in his hands. They were roses!!! I love roses, but no one never buys me roses except for my dad or family members. Why would he buy me flowers? I'm nothing compared to him. I'm normal he's a star! As I snapped out of my thoughts, when Niall asked if I was ready. I told him I was going to get my glasses and phone. I had a tiny make up bag, so that could work to hold my stuff. It was just to hold my keys, phone, and wallet. 3 simple things and that's it. Earlier I had sprayed apple perfume on me, so I smelled like apples which made me more hungry. Why did I have to choose the apple perfume? Why? Ugh, just deal with it Ruby.

Niall opened the door for me. Instantly I was surprised to see a limo.

"Niall, you didn't. Wow! This is awesome!" I squealed looking at him.

He chuckled, "That isn't the surprise."

I looked at him shocked, "What? How? It's a limo. . . wait your Niall Horan from One Direction so technically you can get anything that you want."

Niall smirked, "You coming?"

He was already at the door. He opened the limo door. I got in and was shocked with what I found.

"Hello love." Harry said.

I looked at him and then took my seat. The second closest to the door. I looked at Niall with joy and utter excitement. I was in a car, with One Direction!

"No way." Was all I managed to say.

I asked, "Is this the surprise?"

Niall nodded, "Sorta. There's another surprise I think you'll like."

I looked at the 4 boys who waved at me. I waved back, wiggling my fingers.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you all. I'm Ruby." I said.

I couldn't believe I was in a limo with One Direction!!! Best day ever!!!!

Harry replied, "We know, Niall couldn't stop talking about you non stop."

Niall blushed making my cheeks flush to a red color.

Harry continued, "Would you like a drink? We have vodka, wine, beer?"

I nodded no, "No thank you, Harry. I don't drink."

Louis replied, "It's OK love. You stick to your standards. We are OK with that, right guys?"

Liam and Zayn gave me a thumbs up, while Harry shrugged.

"Not even a beer? Have you ever had one? " Harry curiously asked.

I replied, "No, I have never had an alcoholic beverage, ever! I'm good. Don't worry about it."

Niall looked at me and smiled. I wondered what he was thinking. He had been staring at me for a while now.

"What?" I said snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Nothing. . . .er. . ." Niall uttered.

I begged, "What is it? Is it me?"

Niall nodded, "Never. It could never be you. You are our guest. It's just. . . .never mind."

I shook it off, maybe it was something bothering him. I hope it's not me. That would be bad!!!!

I looked at Zayn and asked, "I love your hat! Can I try your hat on please?"

Zayn nodded, "Sure. "

He handed it to me and I tried it on. It fit perfectly. I set it on my bun, trying not to mess it up. I smiled as I looked at Niall. He chuckled.

"Hold on love. I want to take a picture." Harry said.

I looked at him. Harry Styles is going to take a picture of me!!! I could scream! Keep under control, Ruby. Keep it in.

"Pose!" Zayn said excitingly.

I smiled as Niall put bunny ears behind me, on top of the hat. I noticed when I saw our reflection on the window. I looked at him. Niall only acted like nothing happened. I giggled.

"Send me that pic!" I said to Harry.

Harry replied, "Sure love what's your number?"

I gave him my number and immediately after I got a text from Harry. It was a group chat, so now I had all the boys phone numbers. I could squeal!! After Zayn, Liam, Louis, and Harry put their contact info into my phone, Liam spoke.

Liam asked, "So I heard that you had an audition."

I nodded, "Yeah."

Louis asked curiously, "What song did you sing?"

I smirked, "Can't say. That's a secret."

Louis smirked back, "Why?"

I replied, "Because. . .let just say, you know it more than I do."

It was a fair response and it wasn't a lie, it was the truth. I didn't want them to think I was one of those crazy superfans. That wouldn't be good. . .

Suddenly Liam said, "Let's play 20 questions!!!"

We all looked at each other. I'm about to play 20 questions with One Direction, what's next? I'm ready for anything!!!! I got this!
