" What is it that You truely desire, Lucifer?" Questioned Linda. " What is that you want more than any thing else in this universe? Who or what is it that calls to you?" She further added, arms tucked in a circle around her torso, staring up at me expectedly. Like she knew already what I am about to disclose to her.

" I want her to choose me. I want Ellie to choose me, not Pierce. But I am the one who pushed her to him cause of my own self deprivation and loathing and... selfishness. I was scared of giving into what I'm feeling in fear of hurting her even more than I have in the past, Doctor." I confessed, for the first time in the many of millennia's I have existed, tears in my eyes began to flow out of me. " what if she doesn't want me anymore?"

Linda's gaze softens.

" You don't see it, do you? Ellie has always been helplessly devoted to you, Lucifer, even when you've been the world's biggest idiot and ignorant to your feelings. Go. Go to her and for once see that you two belong together. 'Cause you do. Before it's too late."
