ANOTHER CHAPTER TONIGHT BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL GOOD AND THE LAST CHAPTER WAS VERY SHORT
Have a good night lovelies! <3<3<3
Vic's POV
On the way to the club I couldn't help but notice Kellin's knee bouncing in the seat beside of me. I kept one hand on the steering wheel and placed the other hand on his thigh. I felt his leg stop moving and his fingers laid on top of mine. His hands were cold and clammy.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"I am." I saw him nod out of the corner of my eye. "I'm just a little nervous is all. It's been a while since I've just danced."
"You know you don't have to if you don't want to right?"
"I know. I really like the dancing though.I can pretend like no one is there and I feel a sense of power and control over my own self. It's weird, I know." He chuckled. "But I like it."
"Hey, not weird at all." I brought his hand up to my lips and kissed it softly.
We arrived at the club shortly after and Kellin jumped right out. I called after him and caught up before he could get inside. I wrapped him in a hug and kissed him gently.
"I'll be right in the front. If you need me for anything. I'll be right there." He nodded and we walked into the club together.
The club was almost completely empty at the moment since it was still early. I noticed a few people mulling about but otherwise it was quiet. We quickly spotted Oliver sitting on the bar and talking to a pretty blonde haired girl. He noticed us and was quick to wave us over.
"Quinn this is our newest addition to the family! Why don't you show her around and give her a locker and such." Kellin nodded and took the girl by the hand before walking away with her. You could hear her laugh as Kellin bent down and whispered something in her ear.
"I'm glad he came in tonight." Oliver said and placed a hand on my shoulder. "I've been kind of worried ya know?"
"You and I both." I took a seat on one of the bar stools. "He said he's only dancing tonight right?"
"Yep. Per my instructions. He almost begged me to be in the rooms tonight." I looked at him confused and he raised an eyebrow at me.
"Sorry. He just made it seem like it was his idea to stay out of there tonight."
"He called to tell me he would be in and I told him he needed a break and the poor guy almost had a breakdown. Like he was genuinely upset about it." The more Oliver talked the more confused I became, but the more sense things seemed to make. That could explain why he was crying when I found him, but I still don't understand why he would be so upset about it. A million thoughts raced through my head but I kept coming back to Jack. It had to be some thing with him right?
I debated with myself a bit before turning back towards Oliver. "Do you think it has something to do with Jack?" He sighed and shook his head.
"I told you if there is something I need to know, you or Quinn need to tell me."
Kellin was going to hate me after this but I don't feel like I have any other choice.
I explained to Oliver all that I knew. I couldn't tell him exactly what Kellin was experiencing but I did share the side of it that I knew. How upset Kellin was after every visit with that asshole and how the way he was treated in that room seemed to take away a piece of him. Oliver sat silently and when I finished he banged a fist down on the bar.
"Why didn't he tell me? He knows I want them to be safe and i'd do anything in my power to protect them."
I shook my head. "Maybe it's because he is such a big customer? I mean you do make it very obvious that he pays more and is willing to put out whatever he needs to get what he wants? I'm not saying its your fault because it's not. But it seems as if Kel- Quinn feels like this guy is really important."
"Fuck him and fuck his money." He hopped up from the bar and shook his head. "He isn't welcome here anymore. I'm gonna go tell the bouncers to let me know if they see him. Don't worry Vic. I'll take care of this."
Kellin's POV
I showed the new girl around and smiled as she watched me get ready from her place on the couch.
"I promise it's fun. Just be yourself and dance like no one is watching." I winked at her and she laughed.
"I guess you can tell i'm nervous?"
"Not really, but I know what it was like my first night in the club."
"Any advice?"
I turned toward her and nodded. "I think my biggest piece of advice is to stand up for yourself. If you don't like something someone is doing or if there is anything that would make you more comfortable tell someone. Oli is great and he'll do whatever he needs to to make sure you're comfortable. We're a family here and we take care of each other." She smiled at me and I could see some of the tension release from her shoulders.
"Thank you." I nodded and turned back towards the mirror.
I frowned a bit. My eyes looked tired from crying earlier. I shook my head at my reflection and sighed. Today was weird. Somehow Jack had gotten my number. He had texted me to see about getting a room. I told him I wasn't working and if he needed to book something he needed to talk to Oliver. He didn't like the sound of that. He got really hateful and harsh. He even told me if I wasn't able to get a room, I could expect a rough time the next time. I didn't want that, so I called Oli and asked for an extra shift, and to be honest i'm glad Oliver didn't let me work any room tonight. After I got off the phone with Oli I told Jack I couldn't work and then blocked his number.
Jack having my number scared me. I had no idea how he got it. And the way he just demanded me to work tonight? I didn't like that at all. It made me sick to my stomach. After everything he's done to me, he's crossed a line. I glanced at the new girl through my mirror and sighed. I just told her to stand up for herself and I think I need to do the same. Tonight after my set, I was going to talk to Oliver.
