My POV

AFTER SCHOOL

"Eek!" I yell as I see a spider crawl on the side walk. Everyone of my new friends laugh.

"It's justa spider." Joey says laughing

"I'm terrified of bugs except lady bugs and butterflies." I say terrified as heck.

"So your scared of this?" Joey says as he grabs it and makes a way towards me. I'm so terrified that I back away and don't say anything.

"Hey Joey back off." Yugi says

"Aw come on just a little more?" Joey says. I feel my powers try to take over and I feel my ears and tail sprouting, out of fear I close my eyes.

"Joey that's enough can't you see she's scared to death?" Atem says

"Alright I'll let her off the hook, here spidy go to your family." Joey says as he let's the spider go.

My ears and tail stops growing and I open my eyes seeing the spider going away. I fall to the ground on my knees.

"Joseph Wheeler when I get my hands on you!" I shout as I recover from the shock and fear and chase Joey to till he's tired.

"Why didn't you stop her?" Joey asks everyone when he was out of breath.

"Had it comin Joey, plus it seemed like she wouldn't kill you so much." Tristan says

"Hey Shirl why are you so scared of bugs? I know I have the fear of bugs but why do you have it?" Tea asks

"Well it's hard to explain my excuse is that I was born with the phobia." I say

"Oh ok hey this is where the rich people live." Tea observes

"Heh yea my mom works for Industrial Illusion." I say shyly

"What?" All of them shout

"So why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be on the island?" Yugi asks

"Well my mom bought a house here and she works on the island 24/7 except on the holidays." I say embarrassed.

"So you have the place to yourself?" Tristan asks

"Not quite." I say opening my house doors

"Young lady where have you've been?" My nanny says

"Hi Nanna I was in school is it ok if my friends can stay over?" I asks

"Oh you made friends on your first day congratulations!" Nanna says hugging me tightly. I see everyone confused.

"Well my little cherry I've seen I've been wrong you can make friends in a day." Nanna says as I'm turning red as a real cherry.

"Nanna please don't use that nickname." I whisper to her.

"Oh of course come in come in make yourselves at home." My Nanna says as she leaves

"Cherry?" Joey asks suppressing a laugh without sucess.

"It was my cousins idea." I say

"Why Cherry?" Tea asks

"Well you see my name in Spanish is pronounced with a ch instead of an sh and when you say it it kind of sounds like cherry." I explain

"Wait you come from America how can you know how to speak Spanish?" Yugi asks

"Well my nationality is there but my decent is in Mexico and South America." I say

"So Japanese is your 3rd language?" Tristan says.

"In a way yes." I respond. "Now let's go in my room." I suggest

"Sure." Everyone agreed.
