[ I'm back with CHAPTER 6 ]

You felt the awkward tension from taehyung and jimin.

Jimin: " long time no see "

Jimin and taehyung both shook hands beside trying to break the awkward situation. You couldn't stand here any longer because if you did you think you might throw up.

" excuse me "

You left to the car first while jimin followed behind you to the car.

" you okay y/n? "
" yeah I'm fine I just want to go home "
" look I didn't know they would even be there "
" it's okay, I know you didn't know I just didn't want to stand there any longer "
" I'm sorry y/n I really didn't want you to feel uncomfortable "

He nodded before opening the door for you. You went inside the car while he went to the driver seat and drove you back home. The car ride was quiet but surprisingly it didn't feel to awkward. You finally arrived home you stepped out of jimin car. He walked to your side with his hands in his pocket.

" soooo "

You smiled seeing how adorable he just looks standing there with his hands in his pocket.

" good night jimin "

You leaned in and kissed his cheeks and pulled away but he grabbed your arm. You turned to look at him and he had a serious look on his face.

" y/n "
" what's wrong "
" I've been holding this in for too long and I feel like the longer I wait I might drive myself crazy "
" what is it "

He pulled you back cupping your cheeks pulling you in for a kiss. You were caught by surprise and didn't expect that. Your eyes widen a bit but the longer he kept his lips with yours the more you were into it. You closed your eyes wrapping your arms around him while he wrapped his arms around yours. He pulled away looking at you while you smiled at him.

" please be my girlfriend? "
" I'll think about it "

You pulled away from his hold and was about to go inside.

" are you really going to just let me kiss you and then not answer me "
" yup, to keep you curious "
" really? "

You went to the door opening the door but turned around to looked at him. You called his name to get his attention

" jimin "

He stopped and turned to look at you

" yes "
" WHAT "

He walked to your door but you went inside closing the door. You heard him on the other side of the door knocking

" was that you being serious? "

You took out your phone to text him

" I'm serious, I'm willing to give it a try but anyways we will talk more GOOD NIGHT "

you sent the text message and knew he got it when he walked away happily. You have to admit you did like him and you would be lying if you said that you were completely over taehyung because you weren't. You just thought maybe this would leave away all the bad memories and start some new ones with someone else. You took a shower and went to bed laying down touching your phone when you got a text message from jimin.

TEXT MESSAGE

" thanks for making my night tonight now I can't sleep "
" lol go to sleep you need to rest GOOD NIGHT "
" GOOD NIGHT "

you closed your phone placing it on the night stand. You laid down until your eyes lids were getting heavy. The next morning you woke up putting your clothes on and heading to work but since your car wasn't working you decided to take the bus. You came into work going to your department when you got a call from the receptionist

PHONE CALL

" this is y/n "
" yes, Mr. Kim would like to speak to you in his office and asked for you to come in "
" right now? "
" yes "
" alright thanks "

You hung up the phone and you didn't know why he wanted to see you. You got up taking the elevator to his floor and the closer you got the more nervous you got. You finally got to the door and you were so hesitant to twist the door knob and open it. You took a deep breath before opening the door with a fake smile.

" hello Mr. Kim you called for me "

He turned around in his spinning chair and looked at you

" you know it's just us two you don't have to act like that "
" yeah but we're still at work so I want to keep professional "
" anyways I called you in here because I want to talk about some stuff with you "
" like what? "
" sit first "

You walked over to the other chair across from his desk and sat down.

" look I know things are a bit awkward between us "

You stayed quiet not wanting to answer him or look at him.

" and I just wanted to make some things clear "
" like "
" I don't want what happened in the past to effect our jobs "

" and I would like it if you didn't tell anyone that we were once you know because I don't want rumors going around since everyone already knows about me and Vanessa engagement "
" got it, anything else "
" ohh and I don't want things to be awkward around us I just want to good friends "

" because I just want too but if that's all you needed to say I will be leaving now "

You got up and was about to open the door but it swung open seeing Vanessa by then door.

" hey, what's going on "
" sorry we were just discussing some business things but we are done now "

You closed the door behind you and walked back to your department. You couldn't believe he had the nerve to ask you to be friends with him after what he did to you. After all the pain and stress he put you through with him.

Taehyung POV
I was trying to make things better between with me and y/n but I guess she doesn't want too. It's not like I was trying to get back with her I just wanted to make sure she and I weren't too awkward around to each other. She left my office and Vanessa came in. She sat on my desk rubbing my thighs.

" what was that all about "
" nothing "
" well that didn't look like nothing to me "
" trust me it was nothing I just didn't want her to blur out any rumors "
" are you sure? "
" yes, you can trust me "
" I know "

I leaned in and gave her peck on her cheeks.

Your POV
you couldn't believe he even has the nerve to even say that to you. You hated him but you hated yourself even more because you couldn't hate him fully. You walked back to your department going back to your job. You heard your work phone ringing and picked it up.

" Ms.y/n "
" yes "
" you have a visitor "
" okay I'll be right out "

You didn't know who would be visiting you at work during this hour. You walked out to the lobby seeing jimin. You smiled and walked over to him.

" thanks I'll handle it from here "

You said to the receptionist before grabbing jimin hand dragging him to your department.

" what are you doing here "
" well I didn't have anything else to do so I thought I'll just drop by "
" why didn't you tell me first "
" I don't know I wasn't even planning on coming but I did "
" sooo about yesterday are we like you know "
" I don't remember if I answered you or not "
" really y/n "
" I'm kidding again "
" so we are dating then "
" today will be our official date "

He smiled and without even knowing he pulled you into a kiss. You were a bit taken back but you didn't stop him. He pulled away looking at you

" ohh sorry I didn't mean to "
" no it's fine "

You smiled but your smiled went away when you saw taehyung standing behind you guys. He walked towards two looking at you both

" go back to your department y/n "
" but I was just- "
" I'm your boss and employees not doing their work and messing around with clients can and will be fired so either you get back to work or I fire you "

He turned to face jimin

" I'm sorry jimin but y/n has to go back to work now "

You were now boiling mad you couldn't believe him right now.

" I'll see you later then "
