[ sorry for the slow update I've been busy lately but I'm back with a new chapter ]

It's only been two years and he's already engaged to another woman. How thoughtless can he be. You spent the last year trying to get over him and how he just ended our perfectly good marriage. You looked at Vanessa who linked her arm around taehyung tightly as if you were going steal him away from her.

" ohh she's your fiancé "
Vanessa: " yeah me and taehyung are getting married soon "
" that's great "

You looked taehyung who smiled at you and you have to admit you really wanted to slap him hard right now.

Dylan: " Y/N "

You turned around hearing your name being called from a distance. You smiled when you saw Dylan jogging over towards you guys.

Dylan: " hey who's this? "
" just an old friend of mine "
Dylan: " really we should all go out for lunch together "
" it's okay they have to leave right now anyways "
Taehyung: " yeah we have to leave
Dylan: " alright, well I hope we can all catch up again soon. "

You and Dylan both left to go grab some lunch.

Taehyung POV
I don't think that y/n knows that I'm going to be the new the owner of the company yet. After watching her walk off I walked back into my office. I sat down on my spinning chair while Vanessa came and sat down on my lap wrapping her arms around me

" don't tell me she's going to be working here too? "
" yeah she's going to be working here "
" but why? I don't really want her near you, you know after all you two were married once and I'm afraid "

I moved the piece of hair out from her face cupping her cheeks giving her a peck on the lips. She smiled at me while I smiled back at her.

" don't worry about it okay. Nothing is going to happen between us again we were married as in the past. You know I love you right "
" yeah "
" and you're the girl wearing the my ring meaning I love you and nothing will get in the way of us "
" thanks "

I know that working with y/n might be a bit awkward between us two but this is just business so I have to make it work even if it feels weird. It shouldn't be hard since we aren't married anymore and my feelings aren't there anymore.

Your POV
after having lunch with Dylan you two went back to work and was supposed to be meeting with the new boss after wards. You guys went to your department and started cleaning up your desks to make it look more presentable. You guys all stood at your own desk and you were hoping the new boss would be much better then the other one but you were wrong again. The door opened and you saw someone you would never have Excepted. It was taehyung, how did he even get the job here as the new boss. Dylan leaned over to your ears whispering something to you

" hey isn't he your friend? "
" y-yeah "
" he's the new boss here? "
" I guess so "
" did you know about that? "
" not at all "
" is he nice? "
" uhmm sure "
" what do you mean sure? "
" I'm not sure I haven't talked to him in like two years "

He walked towards yours and Dylan's desk giving you guys a smile. You lifted up your head and smiled quickly before looking down at your feet again. This was going to be so awkward working with him. It's even more weirder that you were married to him once in your life. You were hoping that this would go smoothly and there would be no things mention from the past.

" hello everyone I'm Kim taehyung I'm going to be running this for the next couple of months "

You looked around and saw lots of of the office girls going crazy over him. Either they just thought he was cute or they were his fans before. He left the office and you finally went back to work. Your phone started ringing and of course it was the one and only park jimin calling you in the middle of the day at work.

" what do you want kid? "
" HEY! That's not way to treat someone older then you "

You made a light chuckle through the phone.

" come out "
" I'm working "
" just come out "

You hung up the phone before excusing yourself and went out the office. You went outside seeing jimin holding a box. He saw you and smiled before you jogged towards him.

" what's this? "
" your favorite "

You opened the box seeing donuts inside the box.

" donuts? "
" yeah, don't you like them "
" not really I don't like donuts "
" well that hurt my feelings "
" I'm kidding thanks for the donuts "
" anyways we need to hang out more often now that I'm taking a break from my dancing and singing career "

He laughed at you and you were glad that you still had a good friend like jimin around.

" sooo he's back "

" ohh, so are you going to get back with him "
" of course not because we didn't end on good terms remember "

You turned around and was ready to walk back inside but jimin grabbed your wrist stopping you.

You smiled at him

" I'm kidding "
" so then I'll see tonight "

He smiled at you again before you went back inside. You wouldn't say that you completely liked jimin but you had some feelings for him. You walked back inside and the first thing you see is taehyung and Vanessa together looking happy as ever. You didn't know why but you had a little bit of a flashback to when you and taehyung were the happy ones. You walked past them not even caring about them but you have to admit that you still loved him but you were slowly starting to get out of it. You spent the whole day doing your work as the day was coming to and end. Everyone was leaving work, you looked at the time on your watch before finally getting up to leave. You went home getting ready for your date with jimin. You and jimin were slowly starting something but you weren't sure where it would end up because you were afraid but you and him were trying to start off slow first and see where it would go. You wore your nicest dress and applied on light makeup before feeling satisfied. You heard the door bell and went to open the door seeing jimin all nicely dressed up.

" wow you look beautiful "
" and you don't look bad yourself "
" shall we "

You linked your arms with his walking to his car while he opened the door for you to get in. You got in and jimin drove to the restaurant you two were dinning at. You looked at the restaurant and it looked so extravagant and expensive.

" jimin this place looks so expensive "
" I only chose the best for you "
" stop being cheesy "
" fine "

He parked the car getting out to open your door for you. You two went inside to the front

" reservation for park jimin "
" yes right this way "

We followed them to our table before sitting down.

" you know I would've just been fine with burger and fries "
" well I think you deserve this "
" you're too good to me "
" like I said only for you "

The waiter came to your table and you jimin stared ordering your food. You ordered the steak while jimin ordered chicken.

" also please bring me your best wine here "

The waiter nodded before leaving

" I'm fine with just water "
" don't worry y/n everything is all on me tonight "

It felt nice to just talk to jimin and you liked how you didn't have to be so awkward around jimin and that you two could just talked to each other comfortably. The food finally came and you two started eating the food. After eating you wanted to go look at the view outside.

" lets go outside and look at the view "
" lets go "

We both got up walking outside but you didn't expect to see him here. You and jimin were face to face with taehyung and Vanessa. You looked at him while he looked at you. Jimin wrapped his arms around waist and you knew he saw because he looked at jimin arms around your waist.
