While writing this I was watching KERRANG! on my tv and Church came on and I was chill and then Not Warriors came on and I was not chill. Geoff is mine and Robyn's baby fight me. Then it was Wake Up and my mum looked at me like I was possessed because I was NOT O-FUCKING-KAY ANDY IS AMAZING AND OML JUST THE VIDEO IS THE BEST AND JINXX AND JAKE WERE KILLING IT AND CC LOOKED AWESOME AND ASHLEY PAINTED HIS NAILS WHITE WHICH IS JUST THE BEST!!!! Ok carry on.

"Ooh how about this one?"

"Aws we were just in one that looked exactly the same, can we not just go to a record store and then go home?" Geoff asked but Awsten shook his head. Geoff loved his boyfriend to the moon and beyond but he didn't love the long shopping trips he was always dragged on.

The guitar shop they had visited previously had the same structure, the same set out and the same guitars just with a different name.

"But this is different!" Awsten promised, "These guitars will improve our live performance by so much."

"You've got to stop watching those commercials, they're lying to you." Geoff said but gave in at the puppy dog eyes Awsten gave in. "Goddamn you know I hate when you use your cuteness as a weapon against me."  The older grumbled. Awsten grinned and blew him a kiss before attempting to pull him inside the store.

Something loud and harsh echoed around the street. A gunshot. "Shit! Geoff get down!" Awsten cried. But Geoff was already down. The force of him falling had dragged Awsten down with him, their fingers still interlocked. "Are you hurt?" Awsten asked frantically, looking around the street.

No answer.

"Geoff?" Finally the blue haired boy looked at his boyfriend. Bile rose in his throat and Awsten had to fight the urge to puke.

Blood spilled out thick and dark from a hole in Geoff's chest, right over his heart. "Gee! Oh my God!" Panicking he pressed his hands over the wound in an attempt to stop the blood flow. "Help! Someone help!"

Two more gunshots responded, silencing the boy. No one was going to help them. "Awsie, calm down. You have to leave me or you'll get injured or worse wind up dead like I will. Just get out please." Geoff pleaded but Awsten was a stubborn shit and refused to listen.

"No, I'm not leaving you. You're not dying either I am not having you die on me. Not now." Tears coated Awsten's cheeks. "Hey beautiful, don't cry. You're too pretty to cry." Crimson blood spilled out of the corner of Geoff's mouth as he attempted to lift his hand. "Don't strain yourself, you'll make it worse."

"I'm dying Awsten, I can't really make it worse can I?" The brunette joked but Awsten didn't laugh. "You know, I never understood why you died your hair blue." Geoff mused.

"So at least I could match your eyes." Awsten told him. "But I was thinking of changing it. Do you wanna help me re-dye it?"

"I love you Awsten." Geoff responded before exhaling and falling still.

"No! No! Geoff! Geoff!"

He woke up in a cold sweat, heart racing, tears flowing. In the dark bunk Awsten struggled to see. Instead he reached out and his hands grabbed something warm beside him. "Aws? What's wrong?" Awsten turned to his boyfriend and flung his arms around him.

"You're here, you're alive, you're alive oh God Gee it was horrible! We were just out walking and then you got shot and..and I love you, I didn't say it but I love you, I love you so much."

"Shh baby breathe, it's ok. I've got you. I'm here." Geoff murmered, stroking Awsten's hair. "Look at me Aws." The blue boy looked up at Geoff, still sobbing quietly, drinking in every little detail.

"Give me your hand." Awsten complied and put his small hand in the brunette's. Geoff took Awsten's hand and placed it on his bare skin, over his heart. His beating heart. "Can you feel that?" Awsten nodded. "It's beating. It's beating for you. I will stay alive for you. I'm alive it's all ok and it was just a dream."

Squeezing his eyes shut, a few tears fell but Awsten didn't wipe them away. He just focused on the thrum and rhythm of Geoff's heart underneath his hand. Geoff pressed his lips to Awsten's forehead and pulled the boy close. Awsten's hand never left Geoff's chest as the lovers lay down beside each other, face to face.

Awsten hiccuped a couple of times before calming down. "You good?" Geoff asked. The younger nodded again.

"C'mere." Awsten shuffled closer to Geoff and rested his head under the brunette's chin, keeping his hand in place. "Thank you. I don't know what I would do if I lost you." Awsten whispered.

"You will never lose me Aws, do you want me to stay awake until you fall asleep?" Geoff asked, wanting to make sure his boyfriend was content before joining him in a blissful sleep. Awsten felt selfish but nodded as he felt his eyelids grow heavy again. Awsten hoped he would have a peaceful sleep and as long as Geoff was around he knew he would always be safe.

"Ok babe. I love you." Geoff murmered but Awsten was to far gone to reply, the gentle rock of the tour bus and Geoff's soothing touch lulling the small boy to sleep.

I want the jackets they have in Wake Up because they're so fucking amazing.
