Found missing

"Fuck you!" Frustrated Awsten yelled and threw his pen at the wall followed swiftly by his five textbooks.

Dropping his head to the table, he ignored the immediate pain and attempted to push back angry ears.

Why was studying so hard? He was freaking out big time. Awsten had three exams the next day and four the day after. He'd only had time to revise for three out of seven exams as he had been spending most days with Geoff. Geoff. That's who he needed.

Awsten lifted his aching head and reached for his phone. Squinting at the screen he managed to find Geoff's contact and clicked the call button.

He waited.

And waited.

And waited.

"Sorry but Geoff can't take your call right now. Please leave a m-"

Goddamn. Awsten let out a scream and threw his phone against the wall. He heard the thump as it hit the floor.

Where was Geoff when he needed him? He was stressed, pissed and tired. Geoff was the only person that could calm him down.

Although Awsten didn't always like Geoff, he wanted him, craved him. To him, having Geoff's attention was what he survived on. He thrived off it. There were multiple times a day where Awsten and Geoff would fight and argue; Awsten would always carry on the fight and keep aggravating Geoff. If Geoff's attention was solely on him then no one could take him away from Awsten. No one.

Awsten liked it when Geoff was angry. Sometimes he would zone out and think about Geoff pushing him up against the wall and kissing him roughly. He wanted the passion. Sure Geoff could be a total dick when he was nice but when he was angry all Awsten could think about was being tied down and fucked so hard he couldn't walk for a week.

But Geoff was only angry with Awsten, Awsten pushed him over the edge. He always knew what buttons to press and he was sick of it. Geoff had fallen in love with Awsten but had no way of telling him as their only communication was through heated arguments and angry tears.

For days on end he would go home and cry  thinking about what he could have possibly done to make Awsten hate him so much.

He didn't know that Awsten was scared. Awsten was scared of accepting his feelings. He was worried that he too was falling in love.

Awsten thought he wanted Geoff's passion but he wanted his love and Geoff wanted it back. Not that either of them would ever know.

-

Sun beat down on the blue haired boy like an angry bear. The heat physically hurt.

Sweat dripped from every pore and he'd only just reached school; so had Alex.

He nodded his head to the side and strode towards Awsten with Zack, Jack and Rian following closely behind.

"Hey girlie, you a little warm?" Alex called, rushing to catch up with him. He slung an arm around Awsten and grimaced, retracting it quickly.

"Please enlighten me on why you insist on calling me by a feminine gender." Awsten asked, tilting his head up and squinting to look at Alex.

"What." Alex said bluntly, confused by the younger boy's words. Awsten looked behind him and saw Jack, Zack and Rian trying to conceal the fact they were following them.

The blue boy sighed and stopped halfway down the path leading to the building. Students swarmed around them, parting as if they were waves around a boat.

"Why do you call me a girl?" He tried to dumb it down for Alex. "Because you have bright blue hair, wear bright flowery sweaters, you're gay and you sing really high. Oh and you wear eyeliner. It's not guyliner, it's eyeliner." The brunette explained with a grin.

Awsten raised an eyebrow and folded his arms. "First of all I have the ability to hit high notes, I don't choose to do it all the time, second of all I love the way I dress and look. My clothes, hair colour and fact I choose to wear make up, even if it's only eyeliner, has nothing to do with my gender or who I identify as. And finally we come to the last point. I saved the best for last, come here," he leaned in close and beckoned for Alex to do the same, "you're gay too."

"What the fuck?" Alex backed away confused. The last few kids meandered inside until it was only Awsten and Alex left outside. "What do you mean I'm gay?"

"Please, everyone's seen you with Jack. Are you telling me there isn't something going on there?"

Alex narrowed his eyes. "Listen here you faggot, if you fucking tell anyone I will beat the shit out of you and make you wish you were never born." He spat, poking Awsten's chest repeatedly.

Awsten winced, backing away and heading towards the school. He didn't need that shit. Where was Geoff?

Sighing and hurrying to get to class, Awsten arrived out of breath and even more sweaty. Great.

He had barely sat down before the teacher attacked him. "Late Mr Knight. That's a half hour detention after school."

He internally groaned and tried not to smash his head against the desk. "On that note, time for the daily notices."

Awsten zoned out and scoured the room for a familiar brunette. Unable to find him, Awsten slapped Otto's arm to get his attention. "You seen Geoff?"

Otto shrugged and shook his head. "Nope. Sorry dude." Confused and disappointed, Awsten leant back in his chair and relaxed, blocking out the dull, dreary tone of their form tutor.

Everything just seemed so dull. Sure it was boiling and everyone was being cooked alive in the classroom, even though the windows were open, but Geoff wasn't there.

"And for our final announcement," the teacher turned to face the class and took on a somber expression, "there will be a rememberance assembly for one of our most treasured students."

A wave of murmers spread throughout the room. Otto glanced at Awsten and noticed that he had zoned out completely. He nudged him almost causing him to fall from his chair.

"Dude what the fuck?" Awsten growled. Otto pointed at their tutor. "Sir could you repeat that please?" Otto asked, purely for Awsten's benefit.

"Of course Mr Wood. There will be a rememberance ceremony later today." He repeated.

"For who?" Awsten asked, a sinking feeling in his stomach. "This isn't the nicest thing to say and it is with great sympathy and sadness that I say this and for anyone affected there is help in the form of myself and other guidance counsellors situated throughout the sch-"

"Just tell us Sir!" Awsten interrupted, desperate to know. "Of course. I'm afraid Mr Geoff Wigington was involved in a car crash yesterday evening with another vehicle. I'm afraid to say there were no survivors. I'm so very sorry."

The sinking feeling disaperated, replaced by an ice cold flowing through Awsten's veins. Beside him silent tears leaked from Otto's eyes and several others burst into tears, loud sobs filling the room.

Everyone was so busy mourning that no one noticed the small boy abruptly leave the room. He raced outside into the silent yet cool hallway.

Awsten leant against the wall and slid down until he hit the floor. Hugging his knees into his chest, Awsten refused to cry.

No more arguments, no more attention, no more passion.

No more love.

I've had a shitty day and I'm pissed so you get a depressing chapter. Sorry, hope you enjoyed though xox
