Ripples (Read the author's note)
It had been about half an hour since the incident with Toderoki. The class had remained completely silent since the outburst, simply getting on with their classwork, some struck with horror, some with glee, and some a mix of the two. The only sound in the room at all was the occasionally flip of a page, or the odd sniffle from Uraraka, her cheek sending slow waves of dull, aching pain throughout her body.
Occasionally, one of their classmates would sneak a glace at her, their facial expressions showing exactly how they felt as clearly as though they had screamed it at her, though none of them wanted to be seen. From Kaminari, a poorly stifled smirk gave a 'about time someone did it'. From the ever docile Koda, a look of pure pity screamed 'I haven't forgiven you, but that looked painful'. A slightly snooty look from Momo bought 'Well, it's not like you don't deserve it'.
Approaching the end of the class, Aizawa rose from his slouch and into a sitting position, ready to dismiss the class, but just as he opened his mouth to end the crushing silence, he paused, and looked to the backdoor of the room, as did many others, they could hear it as well.
Heavy, clomping footsteps were quickly making their way along the corridor, steadily growing louder as they approached, moving at great speed. A confused frown took over Aizawa's face as he opened his mouth to speak yet again, "Well, you know your homework, class dismis-". He was cut off by Satou jumping though the door. Clearly too rushed to use the door, he had simply rammed his gigantic shoulder into it, smashing through it like glass. "MR SATOU, WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!" Aizawa bellowed across the classroom as he jumped onto his desk, that was until he noticed the shocked and amazed gazes, mouths agape.
Following their gaze drown from Satou's red face to his chest, he saw something in nuzzled in his arms, like a child. Breathlessly, Satou gave the words that every person in that room had wanted to hear all week. "Sir... Found him.".
The room exploded. All but four people instantly leaped from their seats and dashed to the back of the class, where they practically crushed each other getting as close as possible, all just trying to see if it was really true, if it was the one and only Izuku Midoriya they had all missed so much. Uraraka began to so uncontrollably into her hands at her desk. Iida also remained seated, the huge rush of emotions and thoughts completely overwhelming him, only capable of giving a long sigh of relief. Bakugo was the same, completely overwhelmed by the situation, he stayed at his desk staring with his jaw practically hitting the floor. That was until Aizawa caught his attention.
The ear destroying cries were instantly cut off by a deafening bang, and a flash of light. Once again, the class fell silent. "Thank you Mr Bakugo" Aizawa calmly announced "Now, everyone, back to your dorms, now.". The students, aside from Satou, hastily scampered from the room, as Toderoki arrived with a breathless Recovery girl, pulling a stretcher behind her, the long running search finally concluded.
Well! I'm a little pressed for time at the moment, sorry this isn't longer. However, I think this went quite well. Sorry it took so long to come out. And now, time for what I do with all of my stories, I will give you all a choice. You see, as with most things, I've thought up two seperate directions to take the story, and I don't know which I prefer, so you can decide. Otherwise, I'll just flip a coin. So here are the different options.
A) Stick to what Soulness has left for me, and write a deep, depressing story.
This is what Soulness originally wrote this story to be I believe. It'll be a dark, depressing story about a broken man. Although, I do have to warn you, while I haven't written it before, due to my IRL circumstances, I have massive amounts of personal experience in this area. So, when I say it will be dark, I mean it will be DARK. I won't spoil anything, but I will pour my heart and soul into it, which trust me, doesn't lead to my regular happy go-lucky story.
Or
B) Go the forgiveness route.
I'll make it a wholesome story about love, forgiveness and moving on from the past. Don't worry, It'll still be dark, but instead of it being a story of a man spiralling into a deep depression, It'll be about emerging from it, and learning that all in all, this is a part of him now, and while it may be ugly, it's still his.
So! Hope you liked the chapter, I hope you enjoyed it! As always, let me know what you like, don't like, and what you think so far! Have a nice day.
