Serenity On The Edge
Serenity meets up with Trinity, to once again rehash their feud. This time they met at a park. Trinity moved to sit next to Serenity.
"I thought it would be nice to talk again and hopefully work through our issues this time," Serenity tells Trinity.
"Hopefully," Trinity said.
Serenity and Trinity needed this heart-to-heart sit-down to get to the bottom of their beef and attempt to move past them.
"My purpose in having this second talk and even having the first talk and not just avoiding it is that I do want to have a relationship with you, Trin, I want it to be a relationship where we care about each other without anger and where our feelings matter. I just want a more meaningful relationship with you," Serenity said to Trinity.
As she told Trinity, "This is about moving forward and not thinking about the past. It's about—us, and only us." Serenity didn't want Trinity bringing other people into their conversation, making it seem like she had issues with who Trinity was associated.
Serenity went on to explain her intentions behind her move and how it had nothing to do with her family.
"I just wanted to be on my own, that's all. I'm sorry if you feel that I abandoned you because that was never my intention, Trinity," Serenity said.
"Even if that wasn't your intention it still came off like that, Serenity. We went from seeing each other every day to you can barely be bothered to pick up the phone. You missed so much in my life and I resent you for that," Trinity told Serenity.
"I'm sorry-" Trinity cut Serenity off.
"Let me finish, we tell each other everything and I mean everything. Then we just stopped. You say it was nothing against the family yet you had no problem coming to see Tove. She saw you more than we did, Serenity. Wouldn't you feel some sort of way too if I did that to you?" Trinity asked Serenity.
Serenity went to open her mouth to speak but paused she didn't want to sound rude.
"Okay, I understand but we both did it to each other. You moved too, you were busy too, Trinity. Of course, I saw Tove often because we have a company together, we're business partners," Serenity answered.
"My point is that you made time for Tove but you couldn't do the same for me. I was hurt and jealous that you replaced me in your life and also you don't treat my husband the same way you treat Joshua," Trinity said.
"So, you think I don't like Jonathan and I replaced you with Tove?" Serenity asked Trinity.
"Yes," Trinity answered.
Serenity groaned.
"First of all, I do like Jonathan, I'm just closer to Joshua because Tove and I are close. And second of all, I can not ever replace you in my life, Trinity. Tove is my best friend and you are my sister. So, I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I can't go back to the past and change my actions but I can say that I will never make you feel like that again," Serenity said.
"I just want you to know that when you left me behind and stopped talking to me. It hurt a lot, Serenity, and every time I saw you with Tove and Joshua, I wanted to scream at you like why can't you love me and be there for me like that? What did I do to you?" Trinity asked.
Serenity placed her hand on Trinity's arm, she could tell Trinity was getting emotional.
"I'm sorry. I have no excuses for the way that I acted. Can you please forgive me, I miss my sister," Serenity replied.
Trinity stared at her, she wanted her sister back too.
"Yes," Trinity said.
Serenity made it crystal clear that she understood her sister's point of view. "I hear you. Family over everything," Serenity noted.
"I appreciate that I'm having this conversation with you because I don't want to fight with my sister. I want you to be by my side. So from now on, let's just talk about it and move on," Serenity said, hugging Trinity.
"Okay," Trinity said.
"And for your information, I did come to Wrestlemania, and I'm proud of you," Serenity said, revealing that she had been in Philly for Wrestlemania 40 for Trinity's match.
Trinity pulled away From Serenity. "What? You were there," Trinity said, shocked.
Serenity nodded. "Yeah, I made sure you couldn't spot me in the crowd but I was there for both nights," Serenity told her.
"Wow," Trinity said.
Serenity sighed as she wiped her tears. Serenity had just gotten a call from her lawyer and she had been informed that her ex-boyfriend was being released from prison, on parole for good behavior.
Her lawyer informed her that she had been granted a restraining order against him. Under the order, he would be forced to leave any area that Serenity was in, and have no contact with her.
So she had nothing to worry about but Serenity was still on edge about the situation.
There was a knock on her door. Serenity got up and walked to the door. When she opened the door, her eyes immediately fell on Joe, Joshua, Jonathan, Trinity, and Tove.
"What are you guys doing here?" Serenity asked them.
"I knew you were running for a reason!" Trinity exclaimed.
Serenity looked at Tove. Tove gave Serenity an apologetic look as she let them into the house.
"Tom called me when I was hanging out with them and the phone was on speaker so they heard everything," Tove told Serenity.
Serenity stood there staring at Tove, tears running down her face.
"I'm so scared, Tove, what if he finds me?" Serenity asked Tove as everyone stared at her.
"He won't find you. You have a restraining order against him," Tove answered as she hugged Serenity.
Trinity gaped at her sister.
"When did this happen?" Trinity asked as she rubbed Serenity's back, trying to comfort her.
Everyone went to the living room where Serenity explained the whole situation to them about her abusive ex-boyfriend, Jerome. Trinity started crying. She had no idea her sister was in such a terrible situation. Now she felt even worse because around that time they were fighting and now it made sense why Serenity went ghost.
"Is that why you got your nose done? He broke it," Trinity said, remembering how one day Serenity had gotten her nose done out of nowhere.
Serenity nods.
"Yeah no, you're not staying here by yourself," Trinity said, ready to pack up her sister's house and have her move in with her and Jonathan.
"What am I supposed to do? I can't keep moving," Serenity said.
"You can come and stay with me," Joe suggested.
Jon and Trinity shared a look.
"What?" Serenity asked Joe like he lost his mind.
"Wha-" Jon cut Joe off.
"No, you should stay with Joe. We would feel a lot better knowing you're somewhere safe instead of being in this big house by yourself," Jon explained.
Serenity just sat there kinda shocked.
"You guys talked about this already," Serenity said.
Tove pointed at Trinity.
"It was her idea," Tove said.
Serenity looked at Trinity. "Why?" Serenity asked her sister.
Trinity shrugged. "You know why," Trinity replied.
Serenity knew why Trinity wanted her to stay with Joe but she wasn't going to say it out loud. She nodded, looking at Joe. "It's only for a couple of days until I figure out security or something," Serenity said.
"Sure," Joe said.
"How much you want to bet she won't ever leave Joe's house?" Joshua whispered to Jonathan.
Jonathan chuckled and shook Joshua's hand. "Come on, let's go pack your bags," Tove said.
"Okay," Serenity said.

"Sir, that was so rude," Serenity said as she walked into the kitchen where Joe was playing the food. She looked at the food. "What did you cook?" Serenity asked Joe.
"Butternut Squash-Stuffed Shells," Joe answered as he handed her a plate.
"Thank you but I hope you know I'm ordering a late-night snack after this," Serenity said.
"Of course, you will," Joe said.
They sat down at the kitchen island. Joe prayed over the food. They ate in silence until Joe poured himself something to drink and asked if Serenity wanted a refill of her drink.
"Yes, thanks," Serenity said.
Joe poured more into her cup. "You're welcome," Joe said.
The conversation picked up after that. "I'm glad you and Trinity fixed y'all relationship," Joe said.
"Yeah, me too, especially after realizing how petty our issue was," Serenity said.
"What was the issue? What caused y'all to stop talking?" Joe asked, his features melted into concern.
Serenity let out a soft chuckle, looking around the kitchen not sure how to let Joe know about it. "I don't know if I could tell you about it. Maybe in the future but for now I think it should remain a secret between Trinity and me," Serenity answered.
Joe nodded. "That's fine," Joe said.
They finished their meals after that and Serenity washed the dishes while Joe went and took out the garbage. Once he came back in, he asked Serenity to watch a movie with him.
"You sure do want to spend time with me," Serenity said.
"I was serious when I said we all missed you," Joe said.
"Why did you miss me?" Serenity asked.
"You know why," Joe answered her.
