looks like he really was bothered by it. oh well.

"all done." I said after finishing wrapping him up. I smiled at him. "why don't you stay for a while longer?"

I could see him swallow as he hastily shook his head. "no." he said, somehow while maintaining a small smile. "its gonna rain, better get home before it starts."

I frowned.

"the weather channel says that its gonna start raining at around 2:40. it's 2:36. you really should just wait it out here."

"sure, okay then." thomas said at last. my smile returned.

"great. I'll make some food, you must be hungry.'' I said in reply.

god, I'm so glad he decided to stay. makes things so much easier.

it also helps that I still have some penicillin.
