The Nightguard

Since no one is saying anything, I guess I will just go on then, assuming nobody cares what I do...lets  get started! By the way, sorry if the chapter is bad.

"Bossitronio, you have to meet Foxy!" Emily squealed in excitement. "Now who is this Foxy guy I keep hearing about? Are you replacing me with him?" I tickled Emily. "No, he's another animatronic but he's broken!" Emily giggled. "Lets go meet him then." Emily reached up and grabbed my hand. "Faster faster!" She urged as she took me behind the stage. All of the animatronics were still frozen in place and powered down. Well, it is a little past eleven and no one else is here, I mused. We stopped in front of a old metal stand that had a dirty crimson fox on display. Instead of having two paws, the left one was replaced with a sharp silver hook. Patches of fur was missing on the animatronic, revealing a rusted exoskeleton. On the face, the left eye had a black eye patch over it. "He is pretty cool." I admitted. "He use to sing pirate songs and call me his first mate, but something happened..." She sighed. "He attacked a kid again. After that, he never sang his songs again." "He looks pretty awesome!" I ran my finger along the tip of the hook. "C'mon, we need to go home. It's midnight." I could hear that Mark was already in the office doing his job. I turned to leave, but halted in my tracks when I felt something sharp tap my shoulder. I whirled around to see what it was. Foxy was awake, his one yellow eye shining bright. His hook was resting on my shoulder. Subtly, he bolted out from the curtains and sprinted down the hallway. "Stay here." I ordered Emily as I dashed off to chase Foxy

"Alright, lets get this party started!" I jumped into the rolling chair. I rolled a few feet before smashing into the desk. "Ow." I winced, rubbing my sore knees. I waited patiently for the computer to boot up as I occasionally checked the doors with the lights. In the left hallway, I could hear a set of footprints running. "Must be Jack." I shrugged as I checked the cameras. It wasn't. Running towards my door was a crimson fox equipped with an eye patch and a hook. I sprang out of the chair to close the door, but I was too slow. The fox had already reached the doorway. It froze for a second then let out an ear piercing shriek. I clapped my hands over my ears and squeezed my eyes shut. Whenever I opened them, the fox had stopped screaming. Instead he raised his hook and swung the dull side at my head, knocking me unconscious.

"C'mon Jack, go faster!" I panted as Foxy rounded the corner to the office door. "Mark!" I yelled, but Foxy's screech was louder. I covered my ear with my hands and crumpled to the ground. After a while, the fox went silent. I breathed a sigh of relief and jogged to the fox. Suddenly, it moved inside the office, hook raised. I heard a thud, then silence. "Mark!" I called out. Foxy burst out of the office with Mark dangling limply over his shoulder. "Hey come back here!" I once again followed the fox . He had ran into the storeroom. I paused outside of the door and peeked around the wooden doorframe. Freddy and his friends were waiting inside, their normally colorful and cheerful eyes a blood red color. "Arr, I brought ye the night guard." Foxy dumped Mark on the ground. I saw Mark's eyes flash open for a quick second, then close again. "Good, then he can truly be part of the family. We want to leave Jack alone so he doesn't scare the kids away. That and I like him better." Freddy dragged a golden Freddy suit over. "Sky, what should we do with him?" "Leave him alone! It's not his fault..." The suit cried. The voice was a girls.  I nearly yelped in surprise. "The suit talks...I'm going insane." I whispered. "He didn't kill us, the man in purple did!" Sky continued. "Yar, leave the lad alone." Foxy agreed. "Shut up rust bucket!" Freddy roared. "Your just an out of order piece of junk." "Oh I'll show you who the piece of junk is!" Foxy raised his hook and aimed it towards Freddy's face. "Guys stop!" Chica interrupted them. "So, who votes the night guard is set free?" Bonnie asked calmly. Mark opened one of his eyes and looked at me. He immediately closed them when Freddy kicked him in the ribs. Freddy was the only one that voted against Mark. "Fine, let him go." Freddy sighed. "It's almost six anyway, we better go to the stage." Bonnie tossed Mark out the door. I sat frozen in my spot, praying that they wouldn't hear me. The gang breezed past me and walked onstage. I noticed that their eyes were back to normal now. "Mark!" I hissed as I shook his shoulder. "Well that was exciting." He groaned and rubbed the back of his head. "Were you awake entire time?" "No, just whenever Foxy dropped me on the ground. I figured it was best to pretend I was still unconscious." We sat in silence for a couple of minutes before I cleared my throat. "I should probably pick up Emily." I grinned sheepishly. "I'm just gonna head home and call Scott. This job is insane." Mark shook his head as he slowly stood up. "Are you okay?" I asked. Mark was holding his ribs where Freddy had kicked him. "I'll be fine." Mark limped off. My phone suddenly vibrated in my pocket, making me jump. I didn't remember the number. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey, remember me?" The voice on the phone inquired. "Signe, hi! What's up?" I started walking back towards the entrance. "I was wondering...well, I was hoping maybe you'd want to...you know...go on a...um, date?" I abruptly stopped in front of the cash registers, a huge goofy smile spreading across my face. "Yeah, I'd like that. How 'bout Friday at eight?" I questioned. "Sounds awesome! See you then!" The call ended with a beep. I stepped out the doors with a grin and climbed inside my car. "Yes!!" I shouted as I fist pumped the air and cranked the radio to a loud volume. The song 'Hooked On A Feeling' by Blue Swede blasted through the speakers. The entire drive home, I sang along to the songs until my throat was sore.
