The End?

~Mark

I slowed down to a halt in front of the old brick building and tested the door to see if it was unlocked still. It was. I held the door as I waited for Jack to catch up. "Thanks." He panted as he stumbled into the building. I was about to walk inside, but the doors flew shut and locked tight, separating me from Jack. "Jack!" I pounded a fist against the glass door,  making it rattle from the impact. Jack was pulling and pushing the handle to no avail.

"Mark!" I beat against the door in desperation. I heard a soft chuckle echo throughout the abandoned room. I turned away from Mark to try and spot the source of the laugh. I ended up face to face with an animatronic rabbit suit. The fur was a dirty gold color with bits of it missing, exposing several red and blue wires. I retreated back a couple of steps and pressed my back against the door. I could hear Mark's muffled shouts, but I tuned them out so I could focus on the rabbit. I couldn't tell if it was friendly or not. Hesitantly, I took a step towards it. The animatronic made no movement. I took another step. Still nothing. I sighed in relief, letting my guard drop as I walked past him. Suddenly, its paw reached out towards me and wrapped it around my neck while lifting me in the air. I lashed out with my legs while clawing at the paw closing in on my throat, constricting my breath. Black spots were dancing around in my vision, threatening to ensnare me in darkness. From out of nowhere, Freddy burst in from behind and kicked the animatronic hard in the side. I could see the exoskeleton dent in slightly as it dropped me on the floor. I coughed and sputtered for breath as Mark helped me stand up. "You okay?" He patted my back. "Yeah." I croaked as I shook my head to dispell the spots that still lingered. I noticed that the doors were shattered and lying on the floor. "Freddy broke them down." Mark explained. I glanced over at Freddy, who was still battling with the rabbit. It had him pinned onto the floor. "Springtrap." Mark informed me. Arubptly, Springtrap got off of Feeddy and backed up a few paces. "Hello children." Springtrap hissed as he removed his head. Vincent stared back at me with a wicked grin. "Welcome to Fazbear's Fright." He gestured broadly around him. "Made it myself." He stated with pride. "Or Fazbear Pizzeria, whichever you prefer. This was supposed to make me rich. Make me popular." His grin faded away and turned into a bitter scowl. "That is, until Scott built that stupid Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. I used to have customers lined up on the block to come here. Now look at this dump." He sighed. "He took all of my customers away only because he had more animatronics. People were happy with my golden friends, but that's apparently not enough for them anymore, no, they have to have more animatronics to get satisfied. Scott even had the nerve to take Golden Freddy from me." He growled. "Now the only thing I have left here is this rundown building and the suit of Springtrap. He used to be in much better condition until I ran out of money to take care of him. Scott has been hounding me for this place to make it a horror attraction. Fazbear's Fright." He grumbled sourly. "Here." He tossed a piece of crumpled, folded up paper at Mark's feet. "Contract for the building. Only thing I ask is that you keep it away from that scumbag." He spat. "Why should we trust you?" Mark eyed him suspiciously as he bent down and retrieved the paper. He unfolded it, smoothed out a few of the crinkles and read through the page. "This is a contract for here." Mark informed me. "You don't have to trust me, you just have to promise that you'll keep the contract away from Scott, no matter how much money he offers." Vincent stuck the head of Springtrap back on over his. "No." Freddy said simply as he pressed a button I didn't even noticed was there on the back of the neck of the suit. I heard the sound of rusted metal start up. Vincent struggled to take off the suit, but was stuck. One of the cross beams drove through hid leg. He screamed in pain. "I'll kill anyone who comes here! It'll be all your fault!" Vincent screeched just before a crossbeam shot out and ran through his heart, killing him instantly. I watched in stunned silence as his body dropped to the floor, blood pooling out from the holes in the suit. "He deserved it." Freddy muttered solemnly. I knew he was a bad person, but he didn't deserve this at all. I considered voicing my thoughts, then decided against it. "Let's just go." Bonnie suggested as he tore his gaze away from the body. I nodded in agreement and walked with him and the others back home in complete silence.

By the time we got back, I felt sick and drained of all energy as I flopped down onto the couch. I knew that Vincent was gone, but something inside me disagreed. "Why were you gone for so long?" Emily crawled into my lap and laid her head on my chest. "We were out on a walk." I lied, cringing on the inside. I hated lying, but it was to protect her. "Oh. Okay!" She sound slightly unconvinced, but she slid off of the couch and went into Jack's room nonetheless. I looked at the paper I had clutched in my hand and set it down on the coffee table as I stood up and went to my room. The time on my phone read that it was barely eight, but I didn't care. Instead I crawled into bed and instantly fell asleep.
