Date Night

I know I've already shown you guys this pic so many times, but it's just sooooooo adorable! Anyway, back to the story

~Jack

"C'mon, you don't want to be late, do you?" Mark shouted from the bottom of the stairs. "Almost ready!" I called back in response. I straightened my dark green tie, parted my hair, and took a deep breath as I looked back at the mirror. I was wearing a dark green tie that I bought at the way home and a black suit that I found at the very back of my closet. When I walked down the stairs to meet Mark, his jaw seemed to drop slightly. "You look...amazing! I've never seen you wear a suit before." He smirked and opened the door for me with a dramatic bow. "Have fun matey!" Foxy yelled from the kitchen where Emily and the animatronics were talking. "Such a gentleman." I remarked with a grin as I went outside and climbed into my car.

"Deep breaths Signe, it's going to be fine." I reminded myself for the tenth time in the span of ten minutes to as I changed my red dress and black heels to a medium length turquoise dress and short white heels. I used a curling iron to make my hair appear wavy. "Ugh, I'm going to be late." I muttered as I applied light pink lipstick to my lips and blush to my cheeks, then put on eyeliner and mascara as a finishing touch. "I need to go get going." I sighed as I reluctantly left my bathroom and went outside to my car.

~Jack

I sent Signe directions to the place where we were having our date whenever I was supposed to be there, hoping she wasn't lost. "Hope she likes fancy restaurants." I mumbled under my breath as I pulled onto the parking lot for a 4.2 star rated restaurant named "Restaurant Patrick Gulibad". "Hey, um, I made reservations last week on Thursday under the name Mcloughlin." I fidgeted nervously as the waiter checked for my name on the reservation list. "I'm sorry, we don't have any empty tables-" "What?!?" I exclaimed sharply in a low whisper. "If you want, the closest I can get you a table is...Tuesday on first week of November." She shrugged apologetically. "Hey Sean-" Signe's gaze turned from the waiter back towards me. "Uh, um, our reservation wasn't soon enough, so there aren't any available tables." I winced on the inside, feeling like such an idiot. "I think I have a better plan." I winked and I brushed away my embarrassment the best I could, then led her back to her car. "Just follow me." I assured her as I got back in my car and drove off. "Hey Mark, can you do me a huge favor?" I called Mark. "Sure, what's up?" In the background, I heard Emily shout hello and Freddy chuckle softly. "I'm sending a list of things I need you to bring to the directions I'm still texting you." I ended the call so I could message the directions and supplies to Mark. "I hope this is a good alternative." I brushed my hair out of my face, then started driving off towards my destination.

"Close your eyes, and no peeking," Sean used the sleeves of his suit to cover my eyes as I stepped out of my car. "O-Okay." I giggled. For a couple of minutes, we walked in complete silence, besides the cool, gentle breeze caressing my bare arms, the swishing grass that Sean and I was stepping on, and the crickets chirping happily in the distance. "Okay, now look." Sean removed his suit sleeves from my eyes, revealing a red and white checkered table cloth lying on the ground with a few candles scattered around it. On the table cloth was a bouquet of hot pink tulips, a stuffed brown bear with an Irish cap on it's head, two wine glasses filled with grape wine, and two plates of pasta. "Where are we?" I breathed, touched at the amount of effort Sean put into making everything nice. "Athlone, Ireland. I grew up here in a tiny log cabin in the middle of nowhere, and it can be a bit confining with two other older brothers and my mom and dad, so I would explore the forests and one day I found this place and ever since, I would go here when I wanted to be alone." Sean gave a wry smile. "Thank you." I went over to Jack and gave him a big hug. In the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of blue pop out of the trees. "Mark, get outta here!" Sean yelled at the forest. After a few moments, Mark stepped out of his hiding place with Emily standing meekly beside him. "Not even going to apologize, it was so worth it." Mark commented with a chuckle as he strode past us back to his car with Emily in tow.

I glared daggers at Mark as he walked past us with a huge grin of satisfaction on his face. "Why don't you go ahead and make yourself comfortable." I awkwardly pushed the presents I bought for her over to left side of the cloth. She nodded and sat on her knees with her hands in her lap. "I like being here more than that restaurant." Signe sighed contently as she took a sip from her wine glass. "They probably would've been like 'oh, you must eat the tiniest portions for one hundred dollars." She said in a decent snooty accent. "That is pretty much true." I admitted. Signe shivered as the wind picked up speed. I noticed and removed my black suit jacket, then draped it over her shoulders. Underneath, I was wearing a crisp white button up shirt with the collar unbuttoned slightly. We spent hours telling stories from our lives, eating, laughing, and gazing up at the full moon and the billions of stars glittering in the dark black night.

"I should probably go, it's getting late and Emily probably misses me." Sean pushed himself off of the table cloth and extended a hand for me to grab so he could help me up. I graciously accepted his help as he lifted me off the ground and carried me bridal style back to my car. I couldn't help but squeal in surprise as he scooped me up in his arms. I removed the suit jacket and handed it back to him. "Do I get a goodnight kiss?" I teased as he gently set me back down on the ground. "Well of course." He put the jacket back on, smirked and pressed his lips on mine for a couple of seconds before he pulled away and waved goodbye. I felt my cheeks heat up as I clambered back inside my car and started driving back to the hotel I was staying at.

~Sean

"So, how was the date?" Mark, Emily, and all of the animatronics were gathered by the door, staring expectantly at me. "It went really well." I took my jacket off again and draped it on the back of the couch. "Why are you guys still awake, it's almost one in the morning." I reminded them. "We know." Mark shrugged. "Are you going to marry her?" Emily blurted. "Uh-um, well, I don't know." I stuttered as I felt my face heat up. "Goodnight!" Hastily, I yanked my suit jacket off of the couch bolted to my room, and slammed the door behind me in embarrassment.

~Mark

"Okay." I sank down on the couch and propped my feet up on the coffee table. In my pocket, I felt my phone vibrate and play my outro song. "Hey." I answered as I put the call on speaker. "Look Mark, I know you haven't been at work in a while since the animatronics went missing, so I need you to find them and also bring Sean with you, okay?" Scott asked. I glanced over at the animatronics that were cuddling no around me so they could hear the call. "Uh, I'll let you know if i kind them." I lied as I quickly ended the call before he could say another word. "Could we send the Nightmare animatronics?" Bonnie suggested. I stared at the scrap pile of metal by the door doubtfully. "I think they're broke beyond repair." I frowned. "But, I think I have a better idea." I added over my shoulder as I sent Emily to bed.

Okay, so I'm sorry if this chapter isn't as good as the others, but I am kinda running low on ideas for how to end this (with possibly a sequel.) Anyway, talk to you lovely people later!
