Up all night
I can’t stop thinking about you
Just stay with me

I don’t want to accept it
I’m still missing you
How could I forget?

I don’t want to accept it
I can’t understand
I might as well forget

Chan sat opposite Felix's grave, holding Felix's letter in his hand as his other held the song he wrote for him. He sat there for a while, rambling on about his day to Felix. This wasn't anything new. Since the day of Felix's passing, Chan had made it his mission to visit him daily. Unfortunately, life did get in the way at times, which only had Chan apologising profusely to Felix when he found the time to see him again.

"I wrote you a song, my Love." Chan smiled as he looked down at the journal in his hand, however, he didn't realise tears were already streaming down his face. "I hope you forgive me for being upset before." He sniffled, droplets of tears now landing on the pages that were already stained with previous cries. "I just couldn't cope with the thought of losing you." He wiped the tears from his sticky cheeks, now facing Felix's grave.

It took all of Chan's strength to utter his next few words. "But I'm okay now... thank you for showing me how to love, loving you was- is wonderful... and I'll never forget you, my Love."

He clutched Felix's final words in his hands, his tear-brimmed eyes scanning over its contents once more.

"Dear Channie,

If you have managed to find this letter, then I am sorry.

I'm sorry our story had to end this way, but that doesn't mean our love has to perish either.

I so badly wanted to tell you the truth, but I was too much of a coward.

I simply would not have been able to handle the look in your eyes.

I did not have the guts to break our promise of growing old together.

You may blame yourself, and you may even blame me, but know that you truly were the only one who loved, cherished, and protected my heart.

You gave me everything I have ever wanted.

With this being said, please go and live your life without me.

You are allowed to move on with your life, Channie.

It may hurt, and that's okay.

Please don't pretend to be okay when you are not.

But I will never be angry at you for being happy now that I'm not there.

In fact, it is what I would want most.

Don't feel guilty, Channie.

I never once regretted what we had.

But the only regret that consumes me is not being able to have time with each other as we planned.

Even so, I'll always be with you. Whether it's within photos, memories, or this letter.

I will always be with you.

But unfortunately, for now, I have to leave.

We shall see one another again, no matter how long it takes.

You'll never walk alone, Channie.

I'm always with you, in your heart.

I love you.

Sincerely,

Your Sunshine,

Felix."

Chan read his letter one final time, vigorously wiping his face to rid his tears. He let out a small, low chuckle, smiling at Felix's grave. "I love you." He whispered.

He dug a small space next to Felix's grave, placing his journal and Felix's letter within it. He smeared the dirt all over the items, leaving them to rest next to his beloved.

He left the bouquet on Felix's grave, now standing up, clapping the dirt off of his hands. With one final smile to Felix, he turned around and made his way back home.

The night air grew colder, allowing Chan to heave out some fog from his lips. His mind wandered off to the night that Felix and he snuck out of their apartments to enjoy the stars, as they lay in each other arms.

Chan clutched his locket as he remembered that was the last time he was able to hold Felix in his arms, without the fear of losing him.

He unhooked the locket from around his neck, opening it to see a picture of himself and Felix, in each other's embrace. "I miss your sunshine smile, my Love." He muttered.

Chan kept walking, holding onto the locket for dear life. Not looking where he was going, he tripped over a crack in the pavement, falling over whilst the locket fell out of his hand. His first instinct was to grab the locket, as he whimpered in pain.

Praying the locket wasn't broken, he crawled on his knees as the concrete left more burns on his scratched hands. He finally picked up the locket, sighing in relief to see nothing was damaged.

He got up, wincing in pain yet continued walking on as if nothing had happened. He limped his way towards the main road, ready to cross it. However, a small blond feline creature had captured Chan's attention.

A stray cat came around the corner on the other side of the road. He let out a meow as he faced Chan. Chan smiled at the small kitty, now slightly jogging towards him.

The small creature held a striking resemblance to Felix. Chan looked at the locket in his hand once more, now running across the road.

Chan however failed to see the approaching vehicle that was driving his way, in the dark of the night. He looked up at the cat one more time, and within one swift moment, flashes of memories of Felix shot through Chan's head as the car collided with Chan's body.

The only thing that remained on that road was the bleeding body of Chan, and the locket still held securely within his hand, as the driver of the car rushed off in a panic.

Chan got up, with the locket in his hand. He ran towards the very same park he lay with Felix, the night before his passing. He saw Felix sitting there with his back to him.

He tiptoed forward, and silently took a seat next to Felix. "You're here." Felix faced him, a smile plastered on his face.

"You brought me to you." Chan whispered, leaning in to finally taste the lips of the younger. He had waited a dreadful long year for this, but oh, was it worth it.

They held each other in their arms, tears glistening on both of their cheeks. Chan looked up at the stars, seeing the very same two stars Felix had pointed to a year ago.

"It's us," Felix said with a hushed tone, as he lay his head on Chan's chest. "I knew you'd come for me, Channie." He whispered.

"I'll always be with you, my Love."
