Walking back over Coco pulls Letti aside to talk and I could see from the corner of my eye that she keeps looking my way. The truth is I would love to have Coco back in my life and have him in our sons life but I'm scared shitless that he would walk away and hurt them.
I'm knocked out of my thoughts by a voice saying "So your my stepmom?" looking over I see Letti and say "I guess." and she says "Can I be in my brothers life's?" and I said "Of course you can." and next thing I know I'm being hugged.

~ Coco's POV ~

After my talk with Letti I walk over to Angel who is talking to Nico and Nero and when I sit Angel says "So is your mom dating anyone?" and Nico says "No. But guys ask her out a lot and she always says no." and out of the blue Nero says "Our dad didn't want us." shocked that he said that we look at him then Angel looks at me and says "Why you say that?" and he says "We asked mama one day where our dad was and she said he's away fighting the bad guys but that night we heard her crying and saying please god don't let them hate me for lying to them." and Nico says "At first we didn't know what she was talking about but then one day we asked when our dad was coming home and that night she cried again and we realised she only cried when we asked about our dad." and Nero says "Our friend at school said that meant our dad didn't want us because his mom cried to her friend when he asked about his dad." and Angel says "Her crying doesn't mean that." and Nero says "We stopped asking about him and she stopped crying at night.".
After they said all that I felt like shit. I felt so bad that I had to go to the bathroom so people wouldn't see me cry.
